And I discovered that about 95% of them are the "hardworking" people who dont waste time to talk down on people they know nothing about. They are the same people who EASILY call others "poverty stricken". Ironically, they dominate the online begging community. |

Imagine, creating a thread to beg for money. To think these are the same people that are very fast in talking down at people they don't have the faintest knowledge of. I have taken my time to check the names of the acc holders of some online beggars. Surprisingly, about 95% are from same "hardworking" people that find it very easy to describe others as "poverty stricken". I swear, many people use the anonymity of internet to brag while in real sense they barely feed themselves. Such is the irony of life. |

If the branches are giving you problem, write to their headquarters, copy the cbn and efcc. They will swing into action.

Politics › Re: Just Like In 2015, SW Is About To Betray The South Again In 2023 by Simplyleo: 11:16am On Jun 14, 2020 |
[s] proeast: You're not even seeing the bigger picture. You are too simplistic and obviously ignorant of how the Northerners play politics.
The contest is not going to be between Tinubu and an Igbo man in PDP. The moment yorubas fall for the bait and APC gives the ticket to Tinubu, a northerner will then emerge in PDP and it will be deja Vu again just like in 2015.
Northerners both in APC and PDP will support the PDP candidate while only Yorubas will support Tinubu, then tell me how he will win. [/s] Shut up. Tell any okoro to come out and contest. There is nothing like agreement between sw and se. Contest like others if you want to be president, nothing more nothing less. |
Politics › Re: Just Like In 2015, SW Is About To Betray The South Again In 2023 by Simplyleo: 11:11am On Jun 14, 2020 |
[s] proeast: You obviously don't know anything about Nigeria politics and how manipulative the north can be. The north knows the SW even more than you know yourself. Just like Awolowo, they can never support any afonja who is desperate like Tinubu. Mark my words today, the drug Lord will never become president and he will die trying just like Awo and Abiola.
Now, let me school you on what is going to happen by 2023, northerners in APC will give Tinubu the ticket just to rubbish the South's turn. Then while some of them will decamp to PDP, others will remain in APC but all of them will ensure that the Northern candidate in PDP wins.
Ask yourself where Tinubu is going to get his votes from? SE and SS can't and won't vote for Tinubu for obvious reasons, then North will always vote for their own even if he is Lucifer, then only SW will vote for Tinubu.
You guys think you're smart but you all are obviously rookies who don't understand the game. [/s] The north can never vote afonja yen yen yen. Keep deceiving yourselves. Was it ipob miscreants that voted Abiola against Tofa? If IBB had axe to grind with Abiola, that is a different thing, but the fact remains: North voted Abiola against Tofa, a northerner. Again, is Obj a northerner? Abeg carry your useless analysis commot here. |

Politics › Re: Just Like In 2015, SW Is About To Betray The South Again In 2023 by Simplyleo: 10:49am On Jun 14, 2020 |
[s] proeast: GEJ had some issues no doubt, but there was no denying the fact he was a true Democrat and meant well for the country. However, as 2015 elections approached, his greatest critics were the SW. Now, if such criticisms were borne out of good intentions it would have been helpful, but what we saw was outright use of propaganda, lies and all manner of smear campaign all targeted at the person of GEJ. While South East and South South fought hard to at least give GEJ some deserved support, Tinubu went into alliance with the North and together, they contrived to remove GEJ from office.
Today, the corruption allegations, insecurity, maladministration etc. This same Tinubu and his minions accused GEJ have become brazenly out of control yet the SW have kept silent, and even when Igbos complain about how the country is fast going downhill, the SW pretend that Nigeria is now perfect under Buhari even when the country has never had it worse. They are doing all these based on selfishness and greed to show Buhari and the Northerners that they are standing with them. Their believe is that the North will compensate them for being so loyal to them.
The SW through Tinubu, are now cunningly championing a return of power to the South as a mantra, with the hope that APC will give their ticket to Tinubu while PDP should give theirs to an Igboman. By so doing, they will now use the APC control of the center to manipulate things for Tinubu to win.
The SW have forgotten that he who must come to equity must come with clean hands. How can a region that have ruled for 8 years as president and another 8 years as Vice president have the guts to tell another not to contest while they can freely contest. Such thinking is not only selfish but also illogical. If the SW feels they can contest in 2023, then nothing stops the NW or any region at that from doing so.
Unfortunately for the SW, the Northerners are even far more cunning and self preserving than they can imagine. During the run-up to 2015, many northerners in PDP openly and privately campaigned for Buhari who was in APC. Now, they are definitely going to do so again once Tinubu emerges from APC by massively supporting any Northern candidate that comes from PDP.
Lastly, Igbos are not desperately seeking for the presidency because it is in the best interest of those that want Nigeria to remain as one that should be championing Igbo presidency same way everyone championed Yoruba presidency in 1999 as a way of pacifying them over the injustice that was metted to Abiola.
By insisting on contesting in 2023, the SW will only be paving the way for the ultimate emergence of a Northern president. [/s] Shut up, there was never any agreement and no one is about to betray anyone. Every qualified Nigerian is free to join the party of his/her choice, pick a form and contest. The North, SW and parts of SS will massively vote The Jagaban as the president Fed Rep of Nigeria. Wailers, PDP and ipob pigs can go kill themselves. |
Politics › Re: Opinion: The Man To Take-over From President Buhari In 2023 by Simplyleo: 10:27am On Jun 14, 2020 |
[s] tonykel1: As Nigeria's political machinery gears towards the 2023 presidency, many political permutations, intrigues, and calculations are being made by the political class. The generality of the masses which comprise of the electorates are kept in the position of oblivion till such a time this political intrigues will begin to unfold. I wish to give an insight into the political system of mechanism that will throw-up the next President. With the APC led Government in power and crop of APC leaders we have in the helms of affairs in Nigeria, it will be near impossible not to have the next President come 2023 as an APC member......this can only be forestalled if there is an implosion in the APC leading to outstanding two (2) factions thereby weakening their collective political strength.
Now. we have two (2|) existing unannounced presidential inclined factions which comprise the El Rufai, Rotimi Amaechi, and Arebgesiola faction on one hand and the Asiwaju Tinubu and the Adams Oshiomhole faction on the other hand. But there is a third unperceived power group that will determine the presidency, this the faction will command a bulwark of follower-ship in the APC. The first two factions will engage themselves in political maneuvering that will make both them underdogs to the advantage of the third faction.
As many may have observed that the Vice president has not been featured in the political scenes and expectations for the 2023 Presidency. This is a strategy to removed focus from his taking-over from his boss. It is a well-thought-out plan to shield him from unnecessary political interference. This is the third faction that will command the follower-ship required and will be revealed at the most appropriate time.
Your thoughts and opinions are welcome as I will be giving updates from time to time on the intrigues being deployed in the 2023 presidency. [/s] Anyone still in doubt of the next president of the fed rep of Nigeria with effect from May 29, 2023 must be dreaming. To remove any doubt, check around, which politician is now mostly hated by ipob miscreants? Apart from Buhari, who is the next? The Jagaban is the next president of the Fed Rep of Nigeria, deal with it. Wailers, PDP and Ipob pigs can go and kill themselves. |

SarkinYarki: Is this a subtle attempt to divert attention from the fact Buhari is mentally incapacitated ?...My father and his brother retired as senior military men an they are great family men , I know 100s of other retired senior officers we grew up with that are also great family men, is Abdusalam Abubakar not a great family man ...
The plain truth is that Buhari is mentally incapacitated and it's clear he is not in charge at and that's why the IG can come into Aso Rock whose security is under the jurisdiction of the DSS and the brigade of guards to arrest a staff of Presidents wife based on a report from the presidents aide ..
Do you think if Buhari had ordered Tunde sabiu to go and isolate he would have refused , he refused because he knows the president is incapacitated He is mentally incapacitated, he is a bigot, he is lifeless, he is a tyrant etc. Muhammadu Buhari is the president of the fed rep of Nigeria and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it other than typing nonsense on nairaland. Prior to 2015 general election: "Buhari cannot be president again except if I'm not serving a living God", "he is a tribalist of voodoo proportion" , yen yen yen. That is great. I can see our politicians have started delivering in their responsibilities. The ropes will at least prevent the goats from straying into people's farms thereby destroying crops. It is advised that other politicians should take a clue from this great son of Benue state. This reminds me of the remarkable achievements recorded so far by our South Eastern politicians. It could be recalled that sometimes back, one illustrious son of the great Nsukka LGA made a move to alleviate poverty in the LGA. The politician used his personal money to purchase about 20 fairly used wheelbarrows and gave them out on hired purchase to our hardworking igbo brothers in Nsukka LGA. we are gradually getting there.

The thing just taya me. Why imposing the NIN nonsense on retirees who have meritoriously served and should be enjoying their pension? Some of the requirements in documentation in this country are absolutely not necessary. We seem to be taking cue from advanced countries, but then, we need to apply brain. Most of the decision makers don't even know the essence of some credentials they demand for during documentation. Just follow follow, because the oyibo does same. But forgot the oyibo does it for purposes. For instance, why do I have to submit a copy of my national ID card in addition to a copy of either a valid passport or Drivers License? Can't passport and National ID card serve same purpose within Nigeria? Some dumb organisations request for both. |
