The 10k monthly stipend from the fed govt is quite embarrassing. But the old woman is a Nigerian living in Nigeria not US. We earn and spend naira in Nigeria. All these unnecessary conversion to dollars is nothing but a glaring case of display of inferiority complex.

If you don't want to give, nobody force you. But since you want to give, 10k is damn embarrassing from the Federal Govt. At least this is in recognition of her late son's role and performance while representing the country.

But 10k per month? No no no. Even an average Nigerian can comfortably handle that.

Sadly, these are the people that contribute in no small measure to this site in several ways. What we now see are very irritating and annoying human beings whose obvious actions are to bring down the site. This is in addition to the fact that they are even mostly disguised beggars.

Imagine, me visiting a forum and all I see are crossed out comments all over the places. This shouldn't be much of my business as it ain't my site but mehn, this is not just it.
