Toceen2022:

So guys, here is my timeline.

This journey started in 2020 when I applied to University of New Brunswick, but I wasn't admitted. I wasn't really serious about it then because business was going on fine, that's why I applied to UNB alone.

Around April 2021, when dollar issues hit our business so hard, I lost a lot of money and it started to look like the journey will never be possible again. I discuss with my siblings and we knew it's time to make move and leave this country, because exchange rate means a lot in our Importation business. I decided to prioritize this Canada journey and started making a lot of research and reading on nairaland.

First of all, I decided to apply to schools supported by Mpower, because 7 figures monthly income has dropped by almost 60%. I contacted many potential supervisors and one from University of Victoria fixed a date for interview. She accepted to be my supervisor and I applied around October 2021. I also applied to University of Manitoba. By February 2022, when I didn't hear from Uvic and Manitoba I quickly applied to Fanshawe, Conestoga and NSCC.

March 2022, admissions started rolling in:
University of Victoria - Accepted
University of Manitoba - Rejected
Fanshawe College - Accepted
Conestoga College - Accepted
NSCC - Accepted

I opted for University of Victoria because I have a supervisor, no tuition deposit required and it is a Master's Program. I didn't submit my visa application for about 2 months because I was waiting for funding letter. During this period, I started gathering documents and writing my SOP. When everything was set I contacted Makano to review my SOP. He gave me a thumbs up, but emphasize on writing it as formal letter and did some editing, removing the sub-headings, turning it into paragraphs. I respect him so much for being calm. He sent voice notes to me to explain why he did some things and assured me it's the best. "I have been doing it like that and I've been getting positive results with my clients". That was actually his words. Thank you Makano, I respect you Bro

While the 30% will go into Mpower repayment plan and 40% for my wife and kid. I also emphasized that she has her own personal business in addition with the 40%.

Thank you ketima I will order the gcms note right away.. and please which site is recommended to order the gcms note I won’t exceed 30days

Ketima:

Hello Simply,

Sorry for your refusal and that of your spouse. Is just a delay.

First, I would say the VO spotted series of inconsistencies in your application as regards your purpose of visit and that of your wife. So you will need to revisit tour purpose of visit, align it to your academic and or career goals, future prospect's. Also help the VO to understand why you're going for the course and the school. As for your spouse, you need to be diplomatic. Also, even if you're applying for working permit for your spouse, don't let your purpose of visit be about work work work. Because it may counter your ow purpose of visit and your promises to coke back after studying.

As for your finances, it seems your POF isn't sufficient. So you need to work on it and be rest assured that PPR is waiting for you.

But first, you need to get your note to have a clearer view of the VO's comment.

All the best.

ITS PPR GUYS.

I found out about F&R global from nairaland, he has been termed as the guru. I reached out to him and he responded swiftly to all my questions like he had known me before but I was still skeptical as per Nigerian agent and their numerous stories.

My Frank has been professional from start to finish, made everything seem less for me despite my incessant calls etc but he was calm although.

You always encouraged me despite knowing how scared I was because of my location and how it was going to work out. Always ready to answer my questions even if it’s in the midnight (always waking up to see your replies) @Frankrobbn1 You are truly God sent. Words can’t express how I feel, it has finally ended in praise.

[quote author=Ayatunde post=113138914]I did mine at qlife with my son. His was tagged "worker" too and was told that's appropriate [1quote author=MediaLady post=113138068]

I did Upfront Medicals with my son yesterday at IOM and "worker" was also listed on his medical sheet. The lady that attended to me became rude as I was worried that the tag was wrong, because my son will be on Visit Visa.

Her male colleague assured me that the "worker" tag on the sheet was the right thing...and that the only tag for anyone accompanying someone on a Student visa was the "Worker tag." I said even for a 5 year old? He said yes. Since, it's their job, I just have to

Please would I raise different webform for my
Spouse and I when I want to upload our medical slips…or would I merge the two and upload under the principal applicator alone…I’m asking this cos I would have to use seperate email address…please help anyone

Ketima:

1m can be tagged a lump sum if such account never got such deposits in that past (before) and all of a sudden, million hits the account. But if the account is used to receiving and sending such, then it isn't a lump sum. Nevertheless, do well to explain extensively any large sum deposit in your account with proof of source.

For the IRCC conversion rate, you may have to use oando currency converter. It same with IRCC conversion rate or little above. Is better you calculate with higher conversion rate than with what IRCC uses at the point you want to submit your application. Reason is that by the time IRCC assigns your file to a VO, the rate might change upward and may affect your POF as well.

1m can be a lump sum depending on flow of money in your account. If your history of credit and debit is 10k, 2k, 20k, then 1m is a lump sum. But if your transaction history is filled with 300k,670k, 800k, then 1m is not a lump sum.

Juat type naira to cad on Google and use a live currency exchange. Then you can Refrence the conversion with date in your sop

God bless you…thanks brother
