Am a young man who loves learning new ideas and being creative even in making more income. I believe multiple source of in come is the only way to financialy free.

A lot of persons like me(novice) need someone to hold their hands as guide and support so I decided to create a WhatsApp group where a lot can be shared and like minds giving ideas and possible solutions to urgent needs...

This group is in no way going to affect activities of this thread but backhand reach for support and similar minds could share even deeper ideas than we would usually drop here.

Jumia is now into mutual funds. I hope they provide good rates

Your capital is safe! Depending on the type of mutual fund. Whatever affects the under laying assets affects the fund. The major asset for MMF is TBills and right now the TBills rates are down across all tenors hence the MMF rates are going down. If you look closely to equity base fund the reverse is the case because right now the NSE is bullish since the year began.

Please, I am new here and I just wanted to ask if d interest paid this morning on Stanbic mmf is for Saturday and Sunday or only Sarturday, please anyone?

Are there any penalty for redemption?
No additional charges will be incurred on redemption, only units redeemed before the maturity tenor of 6months will attract 10% of the interest accrued on the investment.

You can still get rate at 8.06% for Abacus money market fund- AMMF and 11.43% for Vantage Guaranteed income fund - VGIF both funds managed by Investment One. Check my signature for the link to open account online and my phone number.

Sterling Assets Mgt. Is another good one, to place ur fund . I HV been investing with them for a while now, I HV no complains,with good rate, entry & exit anytime i.e i top up & collect my funds, with no issues. They are offering good rate even at the moment. Money market funds are Invested in Treasury Bills, commercial papers, fixed deposit and other money market instruments, so you should expect a fall in their yields.

But some few fund managers now lend money to their clients at 20%, this will help those ones to have a yield of 10% or more
