2. Wolfsburg was no match for madrid. Truth is Wolfsburg overachieved to even be within a goal margin of Madrid in a CL quarter

3. City and PSG are equal on talent and everything. I dont see any reason why its an upset. Its a match between 2 teams who are equal It wasnt like City blew them away

BTW Zlatan is the laziest player I have seen in a while
I agree, the first leg win over Madrid was a shock to everyone. Almost everyone didn't expect it. Those that placed their bets on Madrid winning or drawing never saw it coming. If Wolfsburg had a Mourinho as their gaffer he'd have forced them to park the bus from the first minute coz they are not a match for Madrid. So yes, they over-achieved this season.

I don't even agree that City and PSG are a match for everything. Maybe City is richer than PSG in terms of money but football wise, I'd choose the PSG side over City. PSG has better talents, better team players than City. It's simply the stupidity of that ostrich called Ibrahimovic that cost them in the first leg, and Blanc's timid approach in the return leg that cost them last night. If Ibrahimovic had buried those two (one PK and a one-on-one) clean chances, City wouldn't have found the inspiration to get a draw at PSG. They would have ended up losing with about 4 goals. But IbrahimoDUMB cost them their chance to make history and still had the nerves to criticize Blanc's mistake in the return leg. Blanc also showed he lacks the technical nous and boldness to take City apart by using a 3-man defense against City. This is not the Blanc that structured his players perfectly against Shekpe and trusted his 3 DMs to mark out Shekpe MFs. Just to accommodate Cavani, he destroyed his team's formation. Well, his loss is me and EPL's gain. So imma toast to that. cheesycheesy But for me, PSG are way better than City THIS SEASON, they just lacked that final touch/believe to progress.

And yes, IbrahimoDUMB is very lazy. Man Utd will be making a grave mistake going for that spoilt arrogant prick, who wants plays pensioner football while gulping down £600K a week. For what? Just so the mercenary can fail to turn up at the most crucial time his club needs him while blaming everyone but himself for his failure. Let him go to Assnal or Shekpe and waste their time o jare. We don't need him!!

What a blessed night!! cheesy cheesy

All my wishes came true.

First, Raumdeuter astutely put 'em haters in their places and had them grasping at straws, shifting positions from the stats they came with to Martial's total cost. Iranu!! grin grin

Raumdeuter, for this favor, Bayern will qualify tomorrow. I'm on night vigil tonight for una. cheesy

Then Madrid courtesy of my benevolent C. Wahala destroyed Wolfsburg. That guy is a terrorist!! BTW, Benzema and Danilo would be sold off instantly if I was made a Madrid coach this minute. Piece of trash that's what they are.

And finally, Citeh booted out those overrated champions from the one-team league. E sweet me for my belle dieeeeee!!

What else can a niggah ask for? cheesy cheesy

I now believe missing out of top 4 is a necessary sacrifice if we don't want to keep LVG because we have clueless incompetent bastards as board members.
That's it. I should be rejoicing for this loss coz it'd mean that Van Goat would be sacked. But what if Utd keeps faith in him even after missing out at UCL qualification? I can't be happy that this loss spells doom for Van Goat when Utd board doesn't give a fúck about our falling prestige. I'm just exasperated.

Kagawa10, I hope you watched today's match? I hope you really saw your demi-god, Van Gaal, in his highly revered cloak of stupidity? If you didn't, go through the various clips on YouTube and read EVERY site there is, I assure you, you'll get the same shameful appraisal of Gaal's imbecility.

If after watching today's match you still retain your inexplicable praises of Van Goat, then you are a troll and not a United fan. I'll even have the sacked Neville coach Utd than that bag of filth called Van Goat.

Omo, e pain me wella even though Madrid no be my team. I mean, what's the need of putting such a spirited performance against Barca instead of Wolfsburg when they know they'll still not win the league. Their best hope of winning a title is in UCL and they showed up with a performance that the likes of Watford can put up. And wetin pain me pass is seeing Danilo in that line-up. If madrid lost with Carvajal, I no go vex. But Dan-fùcking-ilo the piece of trash? WTF?!! Anyway them no be my team why am I even bothering? They can get knocked the fúck out in the return leg, e no concern me.

Y'all shouldn't start this Terry-Boateng argument on this thread - it'll lead to nowhere. Dayo NEVER accepts his wrongs. So it's a waste of time.

When he's comparing Boateng to EPL defenders he uses UEFA and FIFA nominations and awards to taunt them, but when Terry comes into the scene, like an artful dodger he brings up one of the dumbest reasons known to mankind, BEASTING A WC FINAL to rate him over Terry. Haven't y'all asked yourself why he shifts the post when Terry is involved? Coz both in UEFA and FIFA awards and nominations, Terry shits on Boateng. Coz he knows the relationship Terry can ever have with Boateng is a master(Terry)-slave(Boateng) kind. So like the cunning shape shifter he is, he formulates a new benchmark to defeat Terry. And if you are not wise he'll lure you into his lair and keep wasting your time with it. He never accepts his gaffes so expecting him to accept the truth is akin to teaching a lion how to read and write - it's IMPOSSIBLE!!

If UEFA and FIFA whose opinions matters most recognizes Terry over Boateng, how does one person's opinion count more?

If players, coaches and seasoned football pundits rates Terry over Boateng, why bother over an inconsequential view of Dayo against Terry?

If EVERY poll carried out ANYWHERE CREDIBLE (including in Germany) will see Terry disgrace Boateng, who gives a fúck about just one SINGLE opinion?

Fans across all divides even on this forum rates Terry over Boateng, so what the hell are we bothering ourselves over Dayo's opposite opinion?

Allow him to console himself with the trashy ranking of Boateng over Terry, it changes not the truth that Boateng is not fit enough to tie Terry's shoe lace!!

When next you want to argue this Terry-Boateng balderdash, remember that by Dayo's absurd benchmark and views:

1. Boateng is better than Madini and all the defenders that didn't beast a WC final.

2. Rivaldo and Goetze (Man of the Match at the last WC) are waayyyy better than Puskas that didn't beast a WC final.

3. Littbarski is better than Bobby Charlton

When you see the stupidity, hilarity and depravity emanating from such reasoning, you'd know where to move the argument to - Comedy Central or Jeff Durham's Show. The Kagawa dude has given us enough comedy to last us for a month, let's not allow Dayo give us migrane on top of it. Put an end to the Terry-Boateng argument. We all know who's the beast amongst the two. cool cool

BTW, Raumdeuter, since you reside in Germany, go and meet Pep and warn him not to ever field Ribery and bench Coman or Costa in Bayern's subsequent matches coz he's way past his prime. That dude has got to go. Bayern won't win the UCL with their recent form especially with Ribery prefered over Costa at that LW.

All Die Wolfe need is an away goal and Madrid will need 4. With Benzema potentially missing I hope Wolfsburg go for it. They missed 2-3 glorious chances to put the game and tie to bed. Not forgetting the numerous attacks that that donkey Schürrle broke down single handedly

They need to take advantage of Danilo at RB if Zidane is crazy enough to play him again, that nigga does not have a defensive bone in his body.
You be better observer. When I saw the móron in yesterday's line-up, I told people that Madrid will suffer for fielding that Idíot. They mocked me but by the final whistle I was vindicated. TBH, Brazilian players are waaaaayyyy overrated!! Danilo is one of the most over-hyped piece of shít in the last transfer window. Even after all the nonchalant performances I still don't know why Zidane or the sacked Benitez kept playing him. Coz he's a new buy and cost big money? So fùcking what?

Carvajal is a hustler, a gladiator, defends good and still bombs forward to help out in attacks, yet he's benched for Danilo that sucks in every aspect of football, even in ATTACK!! Why didn't Zidance stick with a ninja that came through for him at Nou Camp? These coaches are damn blind!! I was so peeved that I prayed for Danilo to suffer one year injury so Carvajal can play consistently.

Zidane is a rank Idíot. This is the same thing that cost Benitez his job at Bernabeau. He was playing the likes of Isco, Jese and Casmiero and these ninjas were punching above their weight, grinding out results no matter how poor they were; but when the first El Clàsico came, he went for the just-returned (as of then) Benzema and Bale (coz of popularity) and Barça wiped the Bernabeau floor with them. I wonder what's so special in coaches like Van Gaal and co when they can't make simple substitutions or choose a better line-up. I don't need a coaching badge to know that if I'm appointed this minute, Danilo would be sold off!! Carvajal and Arbeloa are way better than that over-hyped stillborn!! I pray Wolfsburg ràpes them at Bernabeau coz Madrid are shitty this season. Those ninjas thinks UCL na child's play. Overpaid, over-pampered Anuofias!! angry angry

I`ll like to know how and why somebody will be comparing Smalling at 25 with Morgan at 32.

Smalling has played 2520mins in the EPL this season.

PS% - 81.8%
Aerial duel won - 3.1
Tackles won - 1.8
Interception - 2.9
Dribbles - 0.7.

Wes Morgan has played 2880mins

PS % - 74.1%
Aerial duel won - 2.6
Tackles won - 1.2
Interception - 2.6
Dribbles - 0.3

As a matter of fact, it was highlighted that passing is Morgan`s weakness. And somebody is here telling us of reading and awareness of the game. He`s very lucky to have Ngolo Kante in his team, if not, he would`ve been exposed long time ago.

Ngolo Kante that averages 4.5 tacles and 4.2 interceptions per game is the one shielding the defence. The guy that can harass any player anywhere on the pitch.

Any day, any time, Smalling is a father to Morgan in EPL.
Watch how El RETARDINHO will bring up another excuse to make you waste your time with him. Don't fall for his tricks - empty brains have gotten nothing to offer!!

A troll that pulls out more dumb fallacy from his azz faster than a magician pulls out hares from his hat.

That nigga's e-life is a monument to stupidity!! If someone can say Modric playing as an AM means Mourinho is playing with 5 DEFENDERS, then y'all should have no business quoting him.

Someone was saying coz of "Quality A", Defender X is better than Defender Z, then after being called out and ducking like a wuss suffering chronic epilepsy, he then said Defender X now lacks "Quality A" which made better than Defender Z; y'all ought to know y'all are better off watching a paint dry than waiting for rétard with dormant brain to reason at the same wavelength of a mouse let alone a human's.

Take a look at his final BORING EXCUSE out of every dumb argument he brings; "go and RE-WATCH/WATCH Team X (Atletico/Leceister) ".

Whenever he's exposed he'll tell you to go and watch the match like he's the only the one that watches the team.

If Morgan was in this injury ravaged Utd team where wingers and MFers play as defenders, Utd would have been in relegation waters by now.

Debating with that Down Syndrome troll is a waste of brain cells. Be warned.

Thank God this came from you a Barca fan so I won't be accused of being biased. The truth remains that MSN (which Messi is among) flopped in that match while BBC (of which Benzema who was useless before his goal is among) fared better. There no credible site that would rate any of the MSN above CR7 let alone just Messi. Any Barca fan that truly understands how football match ratings or impact are determined won't dispute it.

I don't think you watched the match through a colored TV - and if you did, then you are probably being biased because CR7 was Omo Alex Ferguson...

CR7 was as silent as the letter T in Tsunami throughout the first half and up till the 77th minute of the 2nd half...

He was closely marked as you said, but so also was Messi...Messi still made a few runs, dropped deep to retrieve the ball, completed more passes, gave more through balls(that were either wasted lavishly or lost to the Galacticos due to Neymar and Suarez not standing on their toes)...

Make una stop all this jingoism and over-hyping of performances... Barca outplayed Madrid until Benzema's equaliser... and Ronaldo was just a little bit above average...
This is what you don't get - a player can be tightly marked and yet have a game-changing moment and make the headlines. I never said Messi didn't do all those things you listed but the fact remains on EVERY site CR7 will be rated above Messi and rightly so coz Suarez and Neymar couldn't make use of the balls he gave them. Which El Clàsico match is CR7 not marked tightly? He's marked tightly, yet he made intelligent runs, defended well too, hit the crossbar and even scored a goal. All these surpasses what Messi did coz Suarez and Neymar lay to waste all his efforts. Ronaldo came out tops over Messi in this match. If you wanna prove me wrong show me 2 CREDIBLE SITES that rated Messi over CR7. I'm waiting.

Nah, I disagree. Maybe he moved there sometimes when the match kicked off as he does most times, but he started along side Suarez and Neymar in a 4-3-3 formation with Busi, Iniesta and Rakitic behind them. That's the Barca formation. You can check any site to confirm.

Okay, enough of the trolling.

Back to business. Barca strikers especially Suarez cost Barca the match. I don't know where Suarez left his shooting skills at. He's woeful tonight and even when the ref stupidly allowed an offside offense against him to stand, he still miss from 5 yards. That's too poor.

Removing Rakitic was the dumbest move by Enrique. It totally rendered Barca's midfield useless. Immediately he left, Busquet was repeatedly ràped in that midfield.

Starting Benzema was the dumbest move by Zidane. Immediately Jesse came in, the game changed. Benzema is an Idíot despite his goals.

In all, it was a great match. My man of the match is Pepe. Nigga lied, feigned injury like Barca players, and most importantly bullied Barca players wella. grin grin
