Thank God Ndidi is available. Thunder will fire Rohr if Onazi so much as play a second of football once the mundial kicks off. |
Unlimited22:Go there go do wetin? Debate football with ill-mannered rascals still sitting for JAMB? If you want to lose your IQ debating them, I wish you good luck. |
Where are those praising Rohr? I was befuddled that Nigerians were praising a coach that made a washed up Chinese league alumini our captain. Imagine a serious minded coach playing Mikel and making him captain? I even saw the name of Echejile on the bench. So the guy is still a footballer?

crazypencils20:That enclave for low intelligence maniacs riding the cøcks of one another while being led by a blabber mouth bytch? No thanks!!

I'm just seeing the replay again. The keeper was marking Alli till Cahill headed the ball. This should be the work of one of our players. I saw this goal coming from a mile away. How useless can a team be? They don't even know a single rule in corner-kick defending. LMAO. ![]() |
slimghost:The dude on braids, right? He looked like the vulcaniser down my street. He has zero understanding of anything about the round leather game. I was thinking Akpororo has taken control of our midfield. LMAO. These fûckers are earning salaries? Buhari, is this not kwaruption? ![]() |
slimghost:How on earth was he even considered? LWKMD. ![]() Are these these SE you guys boast with? This 3SC feeders?
|
Let me laugh small before I type. Buwahahahaha hahahahaha haha. ![]() So I decided to watch the SE after more than a year of not watching them because they always disappoint me with their amateur football. And here I'm again being proven right in my decision of not wasting my team on this team. Our attack is blunt. The midfield is nothing to write home about. I saw Onazi being jittery with the ball immediately he was under tiny pressure. He couldn't even shield the opponent for a second with his hand before finding his team-mate to pass. Immediately he was closed down he lost possession. Our defence nko? LMAO. I don die. I'm not even talking of the amateur defending by Balogun to allow Sterling through on goal when he'd have stayed at his back giving him no space to turn. I'm talking about the goal itself. In the build up to the goal, when our players were marking the England players before the taking of the corner, I noticed the most childish piece of defending I've seen for the first time in over 10 years. Dele Alli was in front of our keeper disturbing and putting him under pressure. Now, this is a normal move from players during corners, but I expected one of our players to mark Alli and keep pushing him away with his body as it's normally done on order to give the keeper the freedom to see the ball and react appropriately. Rather none of our players went to help the keeper. I was screaming when I saw this waaaaaay before Trippier took that kick. And just as I was screaming, Trippier took it and Dele up till that point was still distracting our keeper and nobody helped him out thereby making sure he's distracted before Cahill headed in the ball. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. For those of you still on the SE hype, my question is; are these the amateur players y'all have been hyping and hopefully on? These bunch of farmers? Buwahahahaha. Please accept my condolence in advance. ![]() Abeg, let me keep supporting Portugal jare. No time to waste time on these overhyped championship players. |
MoR2:Double six or quadruple six means nada. Mourinho has played it before in the past, so your trolling is lame. What matters is that 2 midfielders are leaving and another midfielder or two would be bought to make up for the losses. When Costa left, Shekpe bought Morata. When Matic was about to leave, they bought Bakayoko. It's common sense. |
Adisaowalla:I understand your point now and also share your sentiment except that while I know that Carrick and Fellaini are non-starters, Fred or any other DM who will bought at £50m will replace them but not to be a bench warmer. Like you said, he'll be in the starting line-up until he doesn't justify being a permanent name in our match days starting line-ups. I think Mourinho will go for a double DM partnership of Matic and the new DM or a 433 formation where both Pogba, the new DM and Matic gets to start. Pogba should watch it, though, because I see a pained Mourinho who's out to bench the fůckever one is, if the player is going to derail our season. Mourinho had been soundly criticised, and any unserious player, Pogba inclusive, will be benched next season. |
MoR2:Fred or any other DM we're being linked with has to do with the departure of Carrick and Fellaini. It has nothing to do with Pogba. |
Arsenate:Not necessarily true. If Abrahimovic decides to walk away but sells Shekpe to another billionaire, maybe to one of these oil money tycoons, Shekpe will survive. Same applies to City. |
eph12:Even Mourinho's staunch fan boys knows Mourinho has no excuses for failure next season. The few gullible ones that believe his "poor team" excuses whenever he loses, will not even vouch for him next season if he doesn't wake up and win us titles. |
ChristineC:Mark my words, if by next season, Mourinho's first choice LB and RB are still Young and Valencia, not only will I start labelling him The Special Fraud (because he's super clueless if he tries it and is just living on past glories), Mourinho will finish trophyless just like this season. No serious coach, looking forward to play an attacking football plays with a 32-year-old right footed winger in a LB position. Mourinho is bound to go trophyless with Valencia and Young as our FIRST CHOICE full-backs, unless they will be backup next season. |
neezar:True. Fabinho openly expressed his desire to play for us but Mourinho wasn't interested in him. United can't buy everybody. Mourinho will definitely buy a DM or even two to replace Carrick and Fellaini. That's an area which has to do with defence, so Mourinho as a defensive coach will take care of there. Y'all relax. Problem still remains our RW, LB and RB. If Mourinho fails to address those areas, we're wasting our time. |
raumdeuter:Exactly why I prefer Modric. He can be sleek/laid back and can also push attack all the way from the DM to spearhead attacks. During the time Salah was on the pitch and Loserfool overwhelmed them in the midfield, only Modric was standing up to be counted, matching their efforts despite his old age. When Madrid took control, you'd see him popping up everywhere dictating the midfield with relative ease. |
larride:Lol. Firmino is not like your typical striker. He needs intelligent sidekicks to excel. He can't bully defenders like Ukaku or Drogba. Once Salah was taken out, it's game over for him. Mane on the other hand tried and impressed coz he's multipurpose. He can play on both wings and used it to great advantage. |
larride:Modric over kross for me. Modric don't just make sideways passes only, he makes forward passes, starts attacks, helps defend, as well as drop deep to pick the ball and join attack. He covers more places in the pitch than Kroos. |
weedtaker:Modric passes and runs as well, even at his old age. Running is not just his attribute. |
weedtaker:But in Chelsea's scenario, when they won the EPL during Conte's first season, they played with a 2-man midfield, 2 wing-back and 3 CBs. Am I right? Which means Kante is box-to-box while Matic sits deep to provide extra protection to the 3-man defence. In Madrid's case, they play 2 CM and a DM in a 433 formation mostly. So both teams are not like for like. Plus Kante is a box-to-box DM not a box-to-box CM like Modric. He's more defensive than Modric but doesn't have more vision or midfield control than Modric. |
SailorXY:Lol. Van Dijk? Get ready to pay up to £150m. ![]() |
larride:I agree that without Salah Liverpool ain't wining, but with a reliable keeper, Madrid wouldn't have scored those comical goals. They had it too easy even though they didn't play well at all. |
raumdeuter:Immediately Salah left, I rejoiced greatly coz I knew it's over. Liverpool have no bench at all. Their first team are not better than Madrid except in attack. The fact that a non-fully fit Lallana who's just returning from injury is the only other option for Salah, tells you Madrid is the better side. There's nothing else Klopp would have done except park the bus, which woukd have been a foolish move as Madrid have the right tools to unlock them. If Salah was on that pitch and they had a reliable keeper, Liverpool would have stood a better chance of winning. |
larride:Modric is on the right side, while Kroos is on the left side of a 3-man midfield with Casmeiro as thr DM. But between the 3, Modric pushes forward the most. |
dubylhover:Modric is not easily replaceable at Madrid, I beg to differ. Kovacic and Isco are suitable as AM at best, especially Isco. If you leave the CM midfield work for Isco, he'll disappear. Isco cannot drop deep to collect the ball like Modric and push attacks, or boss the midfield like Modric does. Modric and Kroos control the pace of that midfield. They dictate the tempo of the game. But why I value Modric over Kroos is that Modric can play as a sitting CM like Kroos and can also be a box-to-box CM. Kroos is just one to sit back and control the game. He can't be a box-to-box currently like Modric, maybe back at Bayern but not on current form. |
weedtaker:I think Modric can play as a sitting CM easily if Madrid decide to ditch a 3-man midfield, but Kroos can't play a box-to-box CM currently like Modric at all. |
FBS:The problem is, after Salah there's nobody else as good as him on the bench. Lallana is not that good and he's just coming back from injury. Klopp has to work with what he has. He had no choice even in keeper area. Liverpool looked more hungry to win than Madrid and with a better keeper, would've won. Klopp brought out the best in the players he had. Liverpool have willing players that are able to run and chase down every loose balls, but they don't have the brains of Madrid players which makes them superior players, nor the quality of those on the bench. After the first 11 of Loserfool, the rest is probably average or below average. But they put up a good fight, at the end of the day, Madrid won because of the dumb Karius. If DDG or Neuer, or Buffon had been in the post, Madrid would suffer. The keeper handed them the title on a platter. |
Hererra is several leagues behind Kroos abeg. This is an insult to Kroos, mbok. |
dubylhover:Kroos is a quality midfielder and Herrera can't lace his boots, but I'll take Modric over him any day, any time. Modric is the total package. He shoots, he passes, he pushes attacks, drops deep as well to engineer attacks and defend too. Na just age be the major issue I get with him. He's now old, Madrid needs to start shopping for his replacement. |
FBS:What else would you have Klopp do? Play without a winger? Mind you the oaf in the goal post cost them that match not Lallana. Also, Madrid have more quality benchers and players than Loserfool. Klopp tried IMHO. |
MRTA7:Injuries and loss of form won't let him have a consistent run. And when he gets injured, assuming he's playing for us, we will go back to square 1 with Mata and Lingard and crash out of UCL or drop many points before he returns and picks form. Mahrez is fit, tricky, has an eye for sweet passes, poses a goal threat (not as much as Bale, though) and cheaper too before now, that's who would've bought last summer when he's just £45m, but we blew it. |
RuuDie:Na lie, DDG no fit stop am. It will take a huge chunk of luck to save that overhead kick. |
