obainojazz:Salah has no replacement if injured, the likes of Lallana can't lace his boot on his current form. But Madrid have so much quality in their team that Ororo could've been injured like Salah and Madrid would still win. Them no be mates. |
MoR2:Inasmuch as I admire Klopp's attacking tactics, I will not sit around and watch every half-baked pundit wannabe take shots at my club. I have to stand up for team once in a while. So for all the attacking tactics of Klopp, Mourinho 3 trophies. Klopp 3 Ls (lost 3 finals) Next!!
|
obainojazz:His tactics wasn't bad. The foolish keeper and injury to Salah cost him the match. His team doesn't have the quality that Madrid has too. |
MRTA7:How can your only issue be his age? Did you read what displayed on the screen when he scored his first goal? It read "2 goals in 7 matches". Take note that some of those matches he started but didn't finish, while some he came in as substitute. Imagine after paying not less than £90m and between 350k - 400k (he earns around 320k at Madrid) plus bonuses, Bale will now play a total of 7 matches due to injuries and loss of form. Mu questions are who will take us to the finals or semis if our world class winger is injured? We go back to using Mata on the wings and hope he becomes a Robben? Or UEFA will wait for us till Bale is fit for us to continue? If Madrid didn't have so much quality and fit players like Ororo, Marcelo, Ramos, Modric, etc., will they reach the final for Bale to make an impact? We shouldn't buy a player that spends more time injured than playing, we are not a pensioner club. We already have injury prone players like Shaw, Bailly, Jones, Rojo, and we want to add Bale to the list and end up selling more shirts off him than winning titles with him? Bale is injury prone. He's too costly with so much baggages for us to buy him. We need fit quality players that will help us win matches not sell shirts. |
MoR2:And you're telling it to us who will never see you in our lifetime? |
MoR2:Bullshît. Arrant nonsense. How many titles have Klopp won since Mourinho came to United? The same Loserfool some people expected this season's title battle to be between them and City finished below us. Tell the author to shut tha fùck up. |
patrickmuf:Which scoring for fun? Don't be deceived by his El Classico stunner or the one or two goals he scored when Barca had already wrapped up the league. Bale remains a ticking time bomb with glass legs. Moreover, he doesn't fit into the Mourinho typical winger that's tasked with defending and always tracking back which is why people like Mahrez won't be bought. I believe Mourinho will end the Bale purchase this time around. |
CrystalTiger:Me too. If Mourinho was all about attacking flair, Mahrez would've been bought since last season's beginning. Even Young wouldn't have been a starter under an attacking coach. |
neezar:Rumors have it that he's going for Willian. So I think the Bale dream is dead. I'll take Mahrez over Willian, though. Mahrez is a natural winger and has the qualities to transform that position for us. It's better we buy Mahrez and then Shaqiri as a backup and leave Willian. |
neezar:He's probably waiting for Bale. ![]() |
weedtaker:We agree on something finally. I really don't see the hype in Fred. His matches I watched were average. As for Koke, forget him, United will never sign him coz he doesn't want to leave and Atletico don't wanna sell. |
MRTA7:I watched Fred in the UCL many times and was not impressed one bit. Not even his freekick could convince me. Anyway, I just hope Mourinho knows what he's doing. Let me not speak out against Fred coz I haven't seen his league displays, but his UCL ones were average. My major concern is our RW. If Mourinho fails to address that position, he's bound to fail next season. |
diggz:He must have joined this thread this year for him to boldly type that heresy. I remember you and Airmark were getting trolled when Morata was scoring upandan and Airmark was telling some of them to calm down as season was just beginning. |
Ibime:Hahaha. ![]() |

popizaino:You must be new on this thread for you to type such fallacy. |

neezar:You sure say you weren't watching back of TV all these while? Sterling and prolific in scoring in the same sentence?
|
Nihilstjnr:You that went for a wedding and couldn't get the first-hand info and me that accompanied a lady to the said vigil, who will you believe? Of course it's my info. ![]() |
Nihilstjnr:1. Started as a CF but moved to LW when we bought Zlatan. 2. LW 3. I think he did but not since the arrival of Sanchez which not only limited his chances but that of Martial as well who saw more game pre-Sanchez arrival. 4. Before Sanchez, yes he did. But since January, I'll say no Mourinho hasn't done much to encourage him. But Lingard can be an example to Rashford. He plays okay for the team no matter the position Mourinho plays him. |
Nihilstjnr:Elrony went for night vigil. He's a pastor so He needed all the concentration he'd get because it's a power packed vigil. He didn't encounter any large alphabet. ![]() |
Nihilstjnr:I don't want Rashford sold at all, but let's be truthful, Rashford has not covered himself in glory in recent times. He's been poor on the field. |
ChristineC:The most annoying thing is that I've read over 15 articles on this Rashford issue and none, not a single one has had the balls to call out Rashford for some criticisms. Yes, Mourinho is not entirely innocent but Rashford has been poor. These biased English media can see no wrong in Rashford. If Mourinho dares to sell him, he better win the league that season or he'll be criticised for even the sun shining when it'd have rained. |
elrony:LOL. I don't mind us buying him as a squad player. But one player I'd want us to buy back is Zaha not Depay, mbok. |
elrony:His body structure rats him out as 30 years. ![]() |
slimghost:LOL. You might end up being right in suggesting Depay, but the pertinent question is - do we really need Depay to tackle a defiency in our team? Depay is a LW. Martial is LW. Rashford is LW as we all can confirm he knows nothing about CF anymore. Sanchez is still LW though he operates from the AM in our matches. Even Lingard was used as a LW in some matches and can be used as a makeshift LW. This poses the question - do we really need another LW? If we buy Depay back, I bet you that within 3 weeks, United fans all over the world (especially us on this thread) and various pundits will starts screaming that Mourinho has wrecked the career of three of the LWs coz there's no way Mourinho can play all four LWs in the same matches all the time. Instead of adding more LWs, we'd tackle our LB, RB, CB, DM and most importantly, our RW position. These are the problem positions we need badly to address. LW is not our problem. |
slimghost:No vex, brother Slimghost, but I wan just ask you one simple question - are you sure, as in really, really sure you watched Depay at United? My God!! We're talking of the unserious Depay that prioritises tricks over assists and goals while playing with us? What has Depay done differently presently than he did before we bought him? Depay was the highest goal scorer at Eredivisie, the hottest young prospect, the best thing after slice bread. I think he scored 25 goals that season before we bought him. We're fooled by his skills and YouTube goals without actually taking our time to watch his matches. Only Patakì who lives in Holland and knew how pathetic Holland league was, warned us about Depay but we thought he was trolling. He turned out to be right. Depay has now gone to another weak league ruled by PSG and started posting high number of goals and has succeeded in hypnotising my United brethren. God have mercy. Let him do it at another EPL team to convince us before get beaten twice. Adisaowalla:Bro, this one left me totally weak. Only amnesia or long term memory loss can fool any United fan that watched the awful Depay to long for him again. This is grade A hypnoticism from Depay. |
Sign Depay back? What brand of expired cow dung are some people smoking? God forbid that thought. |
patrickmuf:This is another option he'd have explored if he didn't want to remove Hererra. Using Hererra the way he used him yesterday despite the number of bodies Chelshit have in their final third left us disadvantaged in attack. like I opined earlier when nobody supported me, we needed more bodies forward. Hererra wasn't needed at all, but Mourinho failed to get it. It's all water under the bridge. Looking forward to the World Cup. |
From Goal.com The Reds had little to offer in attack either. In the absence of their totem striker Romelu Lukaku they had nobody who feels at home with their back to goal, and the lack of threat from the right of midfield with Herrera deployed deep meant that more of Chelsea’s defensive stocks were free to close off spaces for Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez to run into.Just like I opined yesterday, our right wing was ineffective. Since Shellshit came to park the bus, change the status quo and remove the extra DM and add more to the attack. Herrera didn't play bad at all, but he was no longer needed once it dawned on us that Shellshit were out to defend alone. After the match Mourinho complained about the number of defenders Chelsea had in their defence, and I'm like so you were knowledgeable about it and yet left the formation the exact same way it was. He saw the strategy of Conte yet did nothing about it. A wise coach supposed to have added another body to our attack and taken some risks. Removing Jones for Mata was a risk taken too little too late. Don't even know he chose to make that move with the match practically over. Hopefully he learns this lesson in case of next time, which I very much doubt. |
chrisley024:The summary of our defenders - all brawns and no brain. Rojo and Jones are mostly at fault for this. Football has evolved from the aggressive kind of defending. This is what prime Pique had over these defenders. He's tall, aggressive as at when needed, but possess the intelligence to read the game and also play out the ball neatly. Everything no be by gidigbo defending. |
At the end of the day we couldn't break them down. Same thing happened against Brighton. As soon as Mourinho realised Chelshit came to park the bus, there's no need of extra DM. One DM that shouldn't Stray far was all that's needed. No blames on Mourinho, sha. I just hope he learned this fact. You win some, you lose some. Life goes on. |
