Chelseafan1:No, Matic should be retained and kept on the bench, but Costa, y'all need to cash out ASAP. |
nateevs:I read that the Chinese club have already made an offer already on the table. Why not sell him off at that price than give him a new contract and scare potential buyers away? |
kelvinreality:True |
Chelshit needs to sell Costa ASAP. The dude is thoroughly finished. Giving him a new contract is stupidity |
Hazard totally changed this game. No doubt. |
kelvinreality:With Jones, Rojo and Smalling getting injured easily, he'll come in handy and get playing time. His stock has risen. |
diggz:Still hating on Hazard? ![]() |
chic2pimp:You're right |
diggz:Lol. Free transfer, I will manage. ![]() |
kelvinreality:Ake is good, why won't you want him at United? |
nateevs:I know Mourinho will not go for him especially with the massive talent he's got now. That post was just mw admiring his performance so far. Omo, Dembele has been a beast today. See that recovery he did on Hazard. Floored him easily. Wow |
Mourinho should get me Ake on loan next season. |
Nihilist:See much expected evasive tactic by the master of dark magic, Nihilist. ![]() |
Nihilist:Wetin happen? I came in expecting to see you accusing Shekpe of being APC and PDP for all the robbery favoring them in this match, but unshockingly, I saw none. Why na egbon? See as Tottenham are being robbed left, right and center. E be like say Madrid dey learn from una hand. ![]() |
Oasis007:Abeg, don't misunderstand me. I've never wanted Zlatan to be injured IN THIS SEASON. if I did it was out of anger in that particular match. I've also never said Rashford should lead our striking force. All I said was that Mourinho should try a 3-5-2 formation or something, aimed at giving Rashford more chance at his favorite striking position. I also said I wanted Ibra to leave or get injured AFTER THE SEASON DURING THE HOLIDAYS. I can never wish Ibra injury this season when we need him the most. In short, I'm very devasted with this news. This news hurts me badly. I want him fit but gone next season. That's all. |
Lana1:When you, I and others were saying this, some people thought we're hating. They failed to look at the bigger picture. They failed to look at Ibra's general game play, rather concentrating on his goals and not the chances he keeps missing. I still repeat my earlier wish, if Ibra will sign new contract this season, may he get a one full season injury while in Ibiza holidaying with his wife. That's the only way to force Mourinho's hand to get a quality striker, and most importantly, to give Rashford a chance at CF position. If not, if we like make we buy Lewandoski, he must be shifted to the wings to accommodate an unbenchable Ibra. I don't know how Mourinho thinks sometimes. Why can't he let this old man go? He's tried for us, it's time to move on. Mtcheeewww. |
bykebyke:Let's get him for 40mil and sell his ass to Messi in 2 years time for 100mil. Fair biz if you ask me. |
Chelseafan1:Mourinho wouldn't sell that match just to help Spurs win the title when we're not sure of making top 4 or winning the EL. Mourinho might be angry over his sack, but willingly derailing our top 4 ambition just to get back at Chelshit especially when we need every point we can get? I doubt it. If Spurs win us it's because they played better than us in the match. I actually think based on current form, Spurs will win us, I just pray we end up defeating them, sha. |
This bleatings by the Shekpe fans are getting too stale. Whats all these rantings over a loss for? It's no biggie. You guys handed us two L's with one of them being a 4-0 this season, we took it a like a man and moved on. We're trolled too but We didn't try to make a mountain out of a molehill on your thread. I for one was humble in defeat in both occasions and moved on. We just won once in 3 trials this season and we no go hear word from Shekpe fans. Abeg, it's not that serious. No team won't lose. You lose some, you win some. That's football for you. |

Lana1:That dude was seriously on Hazard's case yesterday. I saw this on The Daily Telegraph this morning and was smiling like a fool. ![]() One innocuous moment 40 minutes into the game summed it up. Having advanced high into Chelsea's half, Herrera laid the ball off to Antonio Valencia on the right wing and - where a central midfielder might ordinarily be expected to generate some space for the return pass - then proceeded to totally neglect his attacking duties, instead casting frantic glances either side of him to see where Hazard had wandered to. Once the Chelsea man was located, Herrera hared over to him and put him back in his pocket. Job done.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/04/16/jose-mourinho-masterminded-manchester-uniteds-victory-chelsea/ |
diggz:LOL!! Calm down, Neville said the truth and wasn't even trolling you guys. What Neville said was what a Shekpite typed yesterday or earlier this morning before I even got to read the news. Was the Shekpite also trolling his team too? Was he also a successful coach before he'd recognize Conte's sullen look yesterday? Neville basically said what he noticed. Conte wasn't his usual energetic self. What Neville was trying to say was that maybe if he was active like he was in all matches, he might have succeeded in boosting the morale of his players. One doesn't need to be a successful coach before he can be a pundit. How many of us here are coaches but we debate football matters CORRECTLY. Is Carragher a successful coach? Yet he's a football pundit and gives verdict on football affairs. What of Jenas? Lineker? Ian Wright? Garth Cooks? Ryan Giggs? Owen? How many are even coaches in the first place but they all serve as pundits? Forget the messenger and focus on the message which wasn't an attack on Conte IMHO - just an observation. |
patrickmuf:No, we haven't. No much progress but we've improved our style of play from the boring style of possession hoarding under LvG. And we've been creating more chances now than under LvG and Moyes but in terms of goals, we've been pretty much the same like under LvG and Moyes. If Mourinho rectify this weakness and improve other aspect of our game, then we might go on to achieve our glorious past. |

For me, Kante wasn't that bad when compared to his team-mates. He's the among the few that tried for Shekpe. At least he still won some tackles and was way better than the likes Hazard, Costa, Pedro, who were ghosts in that match. As for Herrera, there's nothing to type that's hasn't been typed already. As I've typed before, if that ninja was in this Shekpe or Tottenham team, he'd have gotten more recognition that he's currently getting. That guy is underrated. He plays with passion for this team. Gives 100% all the time. MOTM for me. |
SIRcumalot:Well, if it wasn't tactical, it's still a nice thing to do. On this thread we've been complaining of how the sole striker style was killing our game. Double attack helped us greatly. |
Lana1:That guy's faith on Pogba is a mystery I'm yet to solve. |
Lana1:Lol. Running mouth is allowed, I just feel with this match being a revenge match for United, it's foolhardy counting us out so easily. |
SIRcumalot:How can you not see Mourinho's tactical genius for the first time today? 1. He started with two attackers instead of one exploiting Shekpe defence the more. Those two chased and added pace to our blunt attack. 2. HE Benched Zlatan and left Shekpe defence confused by not marking a single CF, but rather splitting their back 3 into marking 2 pacy strikers. 3. He disciplined the players to man mark each player. Not only Herrera was man-marking Hazard, Fellani was on Kante's case. Rojo and Bally stayed close to Costa. Darmian was right on Pedro, etc. 4 and the best of them, bringing in Carrick immediately Fabregas came in to choke the midfield and make sure Fab's Passes doesn't arrive to their targets. Mourinho shocked me today. I never saw it coming. |
