Ibime:This disease of typing epistle for little things is too hard for me to cure. ![]() |
chidexxy007:I'm just happy we won. We need to keep Pogba and Zlatan in optimum condition or no hope for us this season. The performance was sleep-inducing. |
afrodoc2:He made my blood boil in the first-half. |
Oasis007:Guy was utter rubbish today especially in the first-half. Just imagine how he allowed our opponents run circles around him in the first-half. Their goal espouses how dumb Smalling can be. |
Oasis007:Add that tall fool, Smalling to your list. ![]() |
This match reinforces my belief that we need quality reinforcements in the summer. So we can't win with Zlatan and Dabadinho? Mourinho should use club to chase out wastes like Smalling, Young, Darmian and Co. Smalling should be the first fool out of the club followed by Lingard and Young. I nearly fell asleep watching this match. What a borefest. Utter piece of crap. Even Rojo that used to be impressive depreciated when paired with Smalling. Martial didn't even turn up today. Mehn, the match dry I swear. |
A40:You're right. It's easier said than done. It's easy for we fans to say stuffs but it's a different scenario when one is on the pitch facing people like Robben and Messi. They don't usually have the time to process their thoughts coz someone like Robben needs just few seconds to dribble past an opponent. Plus the fact Robben had other options of passing to overlapping Lahm to cross or even taking the ball on his right and crossing across the face of the goal for Lewandoski to tap unlike in the Juan scenario where he had no one else near just Juan in front him and he had no options but to try to dribble him to carve out enough space to shoot. That still doesn't negate the fact the Coq is all brute and no brains. |
Nihilist:LOL. Darkrebel is not coo.gar. 100% sure of this. I understand why it's so hard to believe coz he patterned his battle styles and disses off coo.gar's. I won't lie, Dark had coo.gar's disses embedded in his disses back in the day especially when he's still new on here, and still do have vestiges of his disses here and there currently, but presently not even coo.gar has the lexical prowess of Darkrebel. In short I've never seen coo.gar with much "big grammar" like Darkrebel. Coo.gar that I know keeps it neat and simple with occasional huge vocabulary in his posts, but Dark has almost all his posts filled these so-called "huge grammar". Plus I've conversed with Dark off here and I'm telling you he's not coo.gar. Dark and Coog used to be fierce enemies in the past, cussing each other out consistently, at a point I used to think it's personal or something. Let's just say he's fan of Coog, but they're different persons. |
A40:A player, especially a DM or defender who falls for this Robben's famous signature move after all these years should be stripped nakěd and whipped. Afrodoc2 is right, even pundits are shocked that Arsenal players don't know what awaits any team once Robben is given that kind of chance. At South Africa 2010 during the quarter-final match between Holland and Brazil, Holland counter-attacked Brazil (who were piling pressure trying to equalize the game which was at 2-1 and therefore commited bodies forward) and had Robben on a 1-on-1 with Juan. Robben ran at Juan with speed trying to sell him the fake outside move of going to the right so that once Juan falls for the trick he'd cut inside and unleash a screamer, but I was shocked when Juan with experience focused on Robben's left foot and stayed on that lane, refusing to flinch or buy the fake move Robben was selling. Robben tried all he could while running at Juan but Juan just kept stepping back while remaining on the left path of Robben knowing fully well that Robben's right leg is useless. At the end of the shakara by Robben when he realized the trick of Juan who was also using that style to delay Robben and allow his team-mates to catch up with Robben, he out of frustration went ahead to cut in into the left side of Juan and Juan easily stretched out his leg and dispossessed him. Mehn, I was filled with admiration for that Juan nigga. It's on that day I doffed my hat to him. Most of these dumb defenders would've been laid to waste by Robben in that situation. Coquelin is just inexperienced. Overhyped headless chicken. |
Debroslink:Yes, I agree with you and Bykebyke on Enrique leaving. The number one blame falls to a coach. It's not as if he wanted players he felt was good for the system and Barca failed to provide them. When a coach coaching Barcelona is interested in the likes of Gomes (whom I don't see anything special about or feel he can play the Barca way) as a way of rebuilding, then he's starting on the wrong foot. The coach has not shown that's he's astute or has a clear vision of what he wants to do with this team, a new coach with a mapped out vision and tactics is needed first. |
bykebyke:Yes, Messi and Co still have a lot to give, but the question is what they give will it be as brilliant as it was in the past? The answer is no. It's natural that players will wane with age. OK, tell me the truth, do you think this current Iniesta is as brilliant as the Iniesta that played alongside Xavi? Have you forgotten that even the great Xavi was no longer that great player he was when Rakitic was being preferred over him? Trust me, these Players you mentioned have reduced along the years. It's just nature. By next season or 2, Iniesta will stop amassing the game time he's getting in the past. His body will be failing him. |
elrony:Lmao |

bykebyke:Honestly speaking, I believe no matter the squad you guys put out, y'all would have still lost. I'm serious. Not a huge loss like this but still a loss at the end. Even if Rakitic had started he wouldnt have stopped the onslaught. This is because this Barcelona squad I general is not as awesome as the Barca of the past. Tell yourself the truth. There's no longer Xavi. Iniesta is old. Messi is at least a bit below his prime. Busquest is not the same of the past. Alves is gone. Etc. Yet when someone like Messi who's reduced a bit is dragging the Barca squad almost single handedly, you think a day won't come when this sorta defeat will come? Just take heart and accept the defeat. Barca won't be as brilliant as it was in past few years continously. One day, you guys will have to suffer losses and setbacks. |
TapDance:I think Pogba can give us what Carrick gives us if he works towards it. But we need a DM for real. Schweinsteiger and Carrick are leaving next season. |
elampiro:I don't think he's ever been a great scorer. Just his vision for assists, pace and work ethic. |
Elrony na mad man. ![]() |
elrony:Lmao. Guy, not these set of memes again. ![]() |
Nihilist:I never knew you could troll like this. WTF. ![]() |
Lana1:Lol. ![]() |
elampiro:Maria na baller but he's too quick to fall out of form which is what I don't like about him. |
How the hell did this Draxler guy flew under the radar and went to PSG? Well I can t blame big clubs that were wary of him - his injury history is bad. |
TapDance:Another DM. |
Just look at the passion, speed, strength and determination in these PSG players. Just brilliant. And who espouses it other than captain Matuidi. This ninja has all I love about my DMs. Kai, Mourinho get this nigga next season. And he'll come cheap sef. |
SIRcumalot:The problem is that Mourinho doesn't rejig his formation. He's always on his 4231 formation which eliminates any possibility of an SS. So no hope for Rash there. The embolden is a solid reason, I agree, but it's not the reason why Mourinho doesn't rejig his formation to check out possibilities of another striker helping out. It's not the reason why Darmian will be played on the RB even he keeps performing badly there, etc. |
codedguy1:I didn't believe that rumor for one second. I just had to defend Rash coz I felt he's being judged wrongly. |
SIRcumalot:We're not saying bench Zlatan. What we're saying is when matches is about 70 mins gone and we're leading 3-0, sub him and put Rashford. When Zlatan keeps stinking up the place, sub him and give Rashford a chance at CF, even if it's for the last 15 minutes. Not bench him totally. And please stop this Pep can afford to gamble excuse. Pep can afford to gamble cos he has the balls and will to bench a striker like Aguero, or a star like Yaya and heaven didn't fall!! |
Funlordmaniac:Okay, though I still insist that Mourinho doesn't give youth much chances, I'll overlook that fact. But looking at the rest of the reasons I gave, you've got to cut Rash some slack. He's worried about his future and he has every right to IMO. |
Kagawa10:*sighs* I'm not gonna do this with you, I'll just give you this reply and move on. I ain't got time for your tricks. This issue is not who wanted who, it's not what I pointed out in that post of yours. Go back and read it. . We all know how you labeled Herrera and LvG liars and chose your reason over their truth. We all know LvG is your elder brother and so he told you he never wanted Herrera. ![]() What I was pointing out was your sudden volte-face which exposed your lies. During the course of this argument, the last time we had this debate, you asked us ridiculous questions like how could LvG have signed Herrera when he's at World Cup. Asking other funny questions that my small cousin wouldn't be asking in footie. We were explaining it to you that coaches only okays the decision and the person in charge of the contracts handle the rest. You're busy arguing only for you to turn around and start admitting that LvG only okays a transfer target but Woodward does the rest. That's what I exposed in your post. I'm not here to argue if Herrera was wanted by LvG, we know he talked to you personally and said he didn't want Herrera. |
