It didn't go as planned. The blame goes to Mourinho but as well as the players. Matches we'd have normally closed out, we had Zlatan Rashford and Co missing tap-ins like hoes miss their periods. Lukaku's goal prowess has never been in doubt, but top strikers have that extra edge that makes them stand out. Sadly, I admit that good quality strikers are very to find. My ideal strikers currently are Suarez and Lewandoski, especially Suarez. Someone with pace, skills, huge goals return, trickery and nice body movement. I also fancied a YOUNGER Aguero but he's never gonna come.

Right now, options are scarce, but I'll take Aubameyang over Lukaku. Whatever happens next season, though, Rashford must play as a CF. I'd rather we get Griezman to support Rashford upfront than get Lukaku.

Griezman is in a defensively astute team so it shouldn't be a problem with the right money and UCL qualification.

We keep saying the same things and some United fans just refuse to understand our line of thought. These days we park the bus against almost every decent team we face. That was the problem today not the result. We had 65 % possession after 15 minutes and had created a few chances, next thing we sat back and started inviting pressure. Against a mediocre Arsenal team low on confidence or even motivation.
This man is too defensive by nature but he has to learn that this is United not a certain London club without tradition or a football culture.
He had better win the Europa league now to avoid stories that touch. This season has been a disappointment and we will know if it was a success or failure based on what happens in Europa.

Story of our lives. Same recurring theme. We defended against Liverpool, they came to our turf and attacked us almost winning. We defended earlier against City in the first leg, that came gun blazing, then we went to their home and still defended. We never learn. And if you complain some people will say the result matters, after all we didn't lose. How mediocre displays are now accepted continously over good display baffles me. Good teams attacks with quality displays and still win. Why can't we win that way?

There are teams I can condone us defending against, Assanal are not among. There's no how an attack minded coach pressuring and chasing down this Assanal team won't leave with a point. In the first 10 minutes against City, we attacked and looked threatening. Then we back down and defended and never had any chance of winning the match, and most importantly giving City the morale to dominate us.

Toni kroos is a fantastic midfielder, but he has his strength and weakness; defensively, he's not good, but when it comes to assists, key passes, ball distribution to reach the intended targets, he's good at it. He's a more attacking version of Micheal Carrick. Most times they are not appreciated because they lack goals.

People saying Casmeiro is the main man in that midfield. I beg to differ. Casmeiro is very good defensively, but what about the attack? Is he going defend all through without making sure he helps in giving assists to help bring goals that win matches? Casmeiro does his own job, breaks up play, stops opponents from reaching the defence, then he allows Modric and Kroos to handle the creativity. It's division of Labour, every good team should have their combo.

Below are the stats of Modric and Kroos for this season, and Kroos has more better stats than Modric.
