I used the discount club option. With this option you can use any amount between $11 to $58 to backorder a domain. However, if someone else places a regular backorder of $59, the person gets the domain in this case. So basically if you're not willing to take the risk of losing the domain to someone that placed a regular backorder, then it's good to simply place a regular backorder of $59.

But I'm sure you know the drill.

My opinion on this issue of regular quarreling on the thread is that it is totally uncalled for. The type of wealth a person can make from domaining is unbelievable. For those who are learning the game, please don't be in a haste to "call out the bosses" or "drag them". They are bosses for a reason. Try to understudy them. For the bosses, please try to be more calm and be prepared to handle criticism without taking it too personal.

When the thread is more calm and educational, those who are making a killing in the business are more willing to share tips, ideas and the fundamentals of this business. But when we are too quick to call out people or say negative words, the experts tend to withdraw and keep to themselves to avoid problems.

Finally, let us allow those making sales to report the sales anyhow they want to. Do not forget that it is their sale, not yours. If you want a complete sales report, here's some of the best resources:

I just checked again after they rejected some domains... I was able to submit unregistered domain names without contest loves... I don't know what they are doing.. maybe they haven't made up their minds or people are complaining..

The new interface for submitting names is a bit strange & unfamiliar. Can you share a screenshot showing how you submitted unregistered name?

Wow, must have done alot of submissions before getting such. But their rejection doesn't mean such names are not good for anyone.

Anyway, if you like you can make a pdf or Excel sheet of the rejected names and upload here like someone did previously.

We all can look through the names, use it as a topic of discussion here (since the thread has been quiet lately), even resubmit, or buy if that's okay with you!

Of course. That's a catchy and unique name for the beauty industry. Though I am not downplaying the influence of SH.

Don't be so sure. Such a domain needs to be seen by the buyer. When they see it, they get an "aha " moment. SH has to bring such names to buyers" attention, otherwise such a name will be lost in a sea of names at afternic, sedo or wherever.

DAN sent payment Tuesday last week to Grey GBP acc

Grey says usd to the acc is blocked & as such, DAN should recall. DAN says they can't recall, I should wait for rejection.

Grey says automatic rejection takes 1-3business days & if that doesn't occur, DAN has to ask for recall

DAN says I should wait for rejection.

It is impossible to send USD to an account denominated in GBP, so I was surprised when the guy confidently said you can use your Grey GBP account to receive USD. The only exception to this is if there's an intermediary to exchange the funds to GPB.

Moving on, DAN can't "recall" anything. Put pressure on Grey and ask them to do a refund immediately. After the refund, sign up at GeegPay dot Africa to create an instant virtual USD account. The verification process is easy & seemless. You can create an account with a NIN Slip.

I submitted over 300 unregistered names in total to Alter.

Around 85 got accepted and still unregistered.
I'm Still observing them, I no wan waste money.

U go know when dem reg ahm I submitted Bavilion.com to Alter, it was accepted but I was dilly-dallying because I already had dozens of accepted but unregistered Alter names. Fast forward to few days later, it was registered. it's now an active website. Same thing with BoldLantern.com (now listed for sale on SquadHelp).

Moral Lesson: Look closely at the names, register the ones you think have value. You can bulk register them during promos. You can also sell your Alter accepted Unregged names for retail prices.

As a way of helping those who are struggling to build an Alter portfolio or who have no accepted names on Alter, I have attached some names. Feel free to register them if you like.

The conditions on your Offer Letter are what you should follow. So if your Offer Letter says you have three months moratorium, then it means you'll start repaying the loan three months from the day you received the funds. You have accepted the terms and conditions of the loan offer, so it can't be changed.

But make sure you look carefully at what is written on your offer letter. For example, the offer letter below shows a 12 month moratorium, meaning the person has 12months b4 repayment, but if yours is showing as 3months, then it means you have 3months b4 repayment.

I just received an alert from Nirsal now. Instead of 300 they gave me 282. They said they are taking 4% outrightly out of the loan which should be 12k. I wld like to know if anyone in d house understand how this was calculated. 2nd, when are we supposed to be paying back?

The "12 months" moratorium on your offer letter means that you have exactly one year before you start repaying the loan. The one year starts counting from the day you received the funds into your bank account.

Have you received the details of the nirsal account you would repay the loan into? Has Nirsal given you any update regarding the disbursed funds?
