I disagree with your claim that the fact that they're not yet popular makes them irrelevant. The writer of Fifty Shades of Grey began by posting on online blogs before becoming acclaimed.

Widen your scope, my brother. The whale is not the only fish in the ocean. There are great, great writers in the Literature Section. Awesome stories, too. I've read hundreds of those books you may call 'acclaimed', but some of them are still dumb. Check the works of good writers like Royver, Kayemjay, Repogirl, Ishilove, Vantee20, Whitemosquito, Princesa, PrettySpicey, AudreyTimms, Frank317, MaziOmenuko and so on.

When the result came out, I refused to check because I felt there was no need! Three weeks later, I told my mum the truth of why I didn't bother to check, she insisted that I should check because she has been praying about it! Four days later, I checked and I saw..."Admitted course of study...Bachelor of laws". I almost ran mad And if I tell you my story so far in UNIBEN, you will allow God take care of this your situation.

What I'm I trying to say? Please don't give up because this might just be a blessing in disguise for you! I'm not a pastor but I will say you should just hand over everything to God! If God says yes it your time to get admission, whether the post-ume exam holds or not, you will get it!

Science is still in its infantry, and anybody that takes it as standard for explaining how the universe works is also an infant.

I wonder how people take science as a standard for explanations, even when they haven't had a manned mission to venus that has been visited by occult/psychics centuries ago.
