God bless you for this .We may not like other hms but it's refreshing to read the truth on here once in a while.The world will be a better place if everyone just understand that we can't all be the same.I said it yesterday that Tboss doesn't dance at their parties simply cos she doesn't know how to.Imagine if all the hms and Tboss are taken to a ball or a tekno club I'm sure the rest will just maintain to avoid embarrassment while she will be the one on the dance floor or at least familiar with the steps.She cooks with sugar cos that's who she is and how she does it,it may be strange to others but that's what makes her Tboss.Nigerians are generally not open minded and accommodating to other Nigerians who portray some kind of posh,classy "UNnigerian" behavior(but dem go dey admire and imitate oyinbo for the same tin,the hypocrisy!!!)they believe every Nigerian should have the tough,uncouth nature of a "typical Nigerian" which is why most relate more with Efe and hate Tboss.we should learn to respect individual differences,not everyone can be the same.Stop the hate

Now you're discovering what we discovered weeks ago... The problem is that so many Nigerians hate anything or anybody different from what they are used to... If you have any friend, cousin or uncle that is married to a white woman you will understand.. I have seen a family of 5 fry over 30 eggs for breakfast.. Some 13 years old that drink coke more than 3 times a day.. Am not saying its right but that is who they are.. That is the only life they know.. It will take time for them to change and be they typical naija breed that we want them to be..

If only people will understand that we're all different.. There won't be any need shooting or stabbing someone just because their ways are different from ours..

Whites to me are jokes but everyone has the right to freedom of life,thoughts,expression,religion etc

Why are sounding like a sexist(no offence),you are very funny.It is different strokes for different folks,as a chef or cook you must be dynamic to avoid insults and discrimination.Behave like a Roman when you are in Rome and if you are back in Bariga,always behave like a "Barigan".I can add sugar to yam depending on the customer I'm serving,do you know that some people cannot eat tomatoes sauce without sugar or with pepper.I'm speaking from experience,please let's avoid sexism or discrimination.Thanks

Yes you're right. TBoss strikes me as a good cook but she should take a chill pill on her sugary recipes because they've been complaining about it. Even Ese complained about the sugar issue. She even said she ate noodles that had sugar in it. Though Uriel might be responsible for that, I really don't know.

Agreed but do you want to know the truth;tboss is tboss(it is her way of life).Henceforth,I will stop complaining about her attitude(character) because I discovered something yesterday.She is a halfcast i.e she is a product of different race,norms and culture unlike the remaining housemates.She hasn't assimilate totally to the Nigerian way of life that is why she keep on sitting down week in week out like a mannequin during the weekly night parties.

Secondly she is used to sugar because her mother is a Romanian.Europeans and sugar are like 5 and 6,Europeans cannot do without sugar or honey.90% of their food is sugar(fact),believe the whites at your own peril.They gave us religion but most of them don't practise it,they gave us education but some of them don't even practise what they taught us for example they taught us table manners but they don't practise it.They are always campaigning against excess sugar intake but they are the major culprit.



I'm not supporting excess intake of sugar but I'm just telling you the reason why tboss can't do without sugar.The best thing for her is to always prepare her food separately to avoid unnecessary arguments.Thanks

If you don't wanna discuss with them, then make sure the recipe is flawless, inviting and tastes better than what they are used to.

You don't expect people not to complain about this kind of chicken

Bruh!we are saying the same thing,I watched everything also,I even gave updates about their lunch and it preparation.She didn't burn the chicken,seems she added black soy sauce to the marinade.The demerit of the black soy sauce is this;it look is always bad after cooking,the white soy sauce remains the best(if you want to prepare it for a longer period).But you can use the black soy sauce for those who prefer unfinished meal or meat(it is common within the Europeans).Thanks

I'm like @Akthedream;I'm for nobody and for everybody,if you can recall,I defended her during the Kemen saga despite the fact that she had little tiff with my favourite housemate(Bally) before the crisis.We should always call a spade a spade,we shouldn't instigate violence in the name of extremism and fanatism because they are all humans(Nigerians to be precise).

Honestly speaking,there's nothing wrong in marinating chicken with sugar.Tboss did the right thing in a wrong way,despite the fact that I dislike her,she's a better cook.She is better than the rest housemates left in the house in cooking.She erred by preparing it without their consent,but there's nothing wrong with the method.


For instance;there is sugar in "teriyaki" marinade.
Ingredients:soy sauce,water,white sugar,worcentershire sause,distilled white vinegar,vegetable oil,garlic powder and grated fresh ginger.


Another method:water,kosher salt and light brown sugar.You can also make brined chicken with honey,salt,water,2 cloves of sliced garlic,olive oil,sage leaves(I prefer rosemary leaves),and sliced lemon wedges.


If I was in her shoe,the next and the right thing to do is to serve the chicken with some lemons.The
lemon will counterbalance the flavour and taste of the chicken,shikena.
