i think there is a chronological way of assigning the dates. so the date you requested for has been chosen and you were given the nextt available date and yes, if you are interviewed on the 26th of June, you should get your RP card sometimes in July.. all things being equal. Mezzy11: Good morning all, please I requested through mail for my appointment to be on the 1st of June but their shifted it all down to 21st June. Pls is there a way I could request for another appointment date say 24th of May so that I would probably be granted a more closer date say 6th of June considering that my programme is meant to start on the 22nd of August. If I am interviewed on the 26th of June, can I get my RP before 22nd of August? |

2. 3 months bank statement for you and 6 months for your sponsor shayhune: Big boss, please I would like to ask some few questions about the RP processing
1. I would like to know if my sponsor must be staying in Nigeria, considering the fact that I want to use my elder brother who presently resides in Estonia as sponsor.
2. I would like to know the total number of months that the Finnish embassy will demand for statement of account(6months or a year).
3. I would also like to know if having 1.5million in my account is enough considering the exchange rate fluctuation in Nigeria presently.
Thanks, in anticipation of your response. |

if you are going to use your mom as sponsor, you will need her bank statement for 6 months. meaning if you apply in June, you need her statement from Jan to June this year, so looking for someone to transfer the funds now doesnt really make much sense except you are planning to apply in august or september. btw, what do you mean by 'her bank account statement is very poor'? since she is employed, the most important thing is there is flow of cash into the account, and she has a business along side. so i dont think you need anyone to transfer funds to your mom. heanea: Respect to all the bosses in the house. I got to know about this thread not long. Please i will be very grateful for your englightenment on these finland RP issue bothering me as i have gone through the thread and have seen the excellent intellectual work here. I need your advice gaaaani. I have more than €6720 (acc bal: #1.700000) for resident permit in my account as required by the finnish embassy and i desire to use mum as my sponsor but her account statement is very very poor. I and mum have been looking for people who can help transfer #1.500000 into her account for five month (atleast till i get the RP) since i got most of the money in my account from her which is the money she got from the cooperative society she belongs to with monthly deduction from her salary of which reflects on her monthly payslip. Some of the money from her are also from the landed property she owns. She recently registered her company though not in operation yet but the necessary documents are in place(just saying this if it might be of help) At the moment we are still making calls and looking out for people who can help but as at now no one is really willing to help out with that and time is running out. This is the bank statement predicament i have, please advise me. |

no sch has personal courier service but im sure there are guidelines to sending your transcript which the courier services know and any mistake affects the authenticity of the post and sadly, UAF wont verify what they think has been tampered with Ahumareze: When you say the courier service messed up, not sure abt that. I mean as far as I know most wrap parcels in their own envelopes either brown or white. Am not sure any school has their own personal courier service so I think the least UAF can do is look inside the envelope and check if it is tampered with unless they think most ppl have their school stamps and seals. |

racist? why do we always use that word anytime something isnt working as planned? i do understand your frustration but the rules are clear as per the transcript. your transcript is about the most important document for your application hence why the delivery must be 100% accurate. i think you should take your frustration out on those that sent the transcript and not UAF. i applied 2 years ago, my sister applied last year and my friend is applying this year and we didn't have any issue about the transcript. the courier messed u up, not UAF hakeembee: Those UAF guys are demons, imagine someone's school sent Transcript, they gave it to a currier service who enviloped it, at the end when it got to UAF the guys said it was not submitted according to country specific requirement. This is because the currier service enviloped it with a regular brown envilope. When they were told that the envilope was used by the post office to protect the document, they refused to accept. When asked why they did not mail or call the school to confirm the authenticity of the document they said they dont have the resources to do so. Daft people, after collecting €100. They are racist. |
