If you spend money and erect a building and put a name on it and call it a church.When something worse than COVID-19 comes, it would be rendered useless just as COVID-19 made so called Churches desolate then.

If no one comes on a Sunday for what you call a "Sunday service" , it would just be an ordinary building.

Jesus said destroy this Temple and in three days,I would raise it back.
They asked him how that is possible.But,he was indirectly telling them that he is the Temple and not that building called "Temple" .If that building was the Temple,it would have still been standing till today because anytime it is destroyed,it would have been rising up every three days.It would have been one of the wonders of the earth.But No,it is nowhere to be found today,instead,it is Jesus that rose up after 3days.

The "church building" you are building today,if it gets destroyed,it won't rise up after 3days (You can try it).That's how you will know that,that is not the actual temple of God.Instead,It is the people.

In the book of Acts, people sold their houses and lands and brought the money together to buy and share food and other things among themselves,They were building themselves and not a building.Today,so called "Churches" collect money to make these their buildings even bigger and more beautiful even as many of their "members" lack a lot of things and many are hungry.
Jesus did not specifically preach any building and any Neither did he even preach any Religion,He preached a Way of Life that is pleasing to the Father.He preached,the righteousness (right things to do) of God's kingdom.
That is what people should devote their lives to today and not Building a place and calling it "The house of God" or "church".God does not live in any house or any place.He fills fhe heavens and the earth and dwells in people,his actual temple.

Church leaders being materialistic cannot make me withdraw from the congregation unless they point a gun at me when I refuse to give them my money. Also, if I consider the leadership of a Church unbearable and withdraw myself from the congregation, I will join another Church.

The point is that it is biblically wrong for a Christian to withdraw from the congregation and go solo in worshipping God.
