ayo84:You said the President is bribing judges? My brother, use your head while supporting any side in their political battles o. |
Hismajesty44:Oh, I thought it was the other way round |
She's from Itsekiri. It seems a lot of people mistake her to be Yoruba |
I advise every man who can afford it to do a DNA test on their children. You can do it discreetly without her knowledge. I did a DNA test on my supposed only son last year and received a rude shock. |
sweerychick:That your source is just mere sauce. There would be no impeachment and there would be no second tenure. That was the outcome of the meeting of all the parties with Tinubu last week. But that was even the initial agreement before the state of emergency was lifted. That impeachment threat was just meant to reinforce and restate that agreement because it was beginning to look like the Governor was bypassing the agreement to get support from outside the state for a return ticket under the APC. Do you think that Wike and his men are so naive to think that the impeachment can succeed without the buy in of the Chief Judge? Since that meeting, the Governor travelled abroad and wasn't even present in his own birthday celebration. Haven't you noticed that the tone of APC national leaders towards Wike had changed? No impeachment. No second tenure. Anybody reporting anything contrary is just ignorant or lying. Let the Governor summon the courage to return and complete his tenure, working with the House of Assembly. |
There is no difference between forex trading and sports betting. The use of historical data to predict future events. Yes, you can make money but more people lose money than make money in both. Personally, I have made more money from sports betting than forex trading. In fact, my overall sports betting result will be a profit while my overall forex trading will be a loss. Both of these forms of gambling require luck but some skills too. Maybe, I am more skilled in sports analysis than forex analysis. It may be different for you or another person. However, in both of them, you must learn from experience which often comes with losses. |
floss:So for you, a good song is only one with very rich lyrics? Listen, Music is not all about lyrics. Those party bangers you referred to being played at Nigerian clubs and bars are good music. They entertain, which is one of the functions of music. Do you know that the South African Amapiano is mainly beats with very minimal lyrics? There are other genres of music with little or no lyrics too. Have you ever listened to American jazz music or the early Fela songs which can be classified as jazz? To people like you, that is not good music because it is not filled with rich lyrics. There is no straight jacket to define what good music is. As long as the listeners enjoy it, it is good music. |
Armaggedon:The protest is inconsequential. The market remains locked till Monday. And if they refuse to open their shops on Monday, another closure for a longer period. Those protesting are not even the real shop owners. They are the umu boi, street urchins and nde oso ahia who own no shops. They are largely uneducated and members of IPOB. The real shop owners are the ones in the meeting with the Governor. |
OlujobaSamuel:Have you checked the rules? If the rules were followed stringently, Senegal was even supposed to forfeit the match. The sanctions are very lenient for the gravity of the offence. |
OlujobaSamuel:The punishment was far too lenient on both teams but more especially Senegal. I thought CAF would ban Senegal from the next AFCON and ban their coach for at least 10 years. Some analysts had even predicted that they would forfeit the trophy. I think Senegal would be relieved with the sanctions. Definitely, I am. |
This is the best decision ever taken by Gov. Soludo. Clearly, these market traders are supporters and enablers of the IPOB/ESN terrorists |
FaAbData:It is surrogacy that you know but there are a lot of things concerning pregnancy and childbirth you would learn with time. Do you know that people wear fake pregnancy bumps for six months and get a baby from somewhere afterwards? some women show their nude bumps to prove that it is not fake. Some even show their scan results to prove a point. There are a lot of things happening that you may not know now. |
The video does not support your claim. Enough of these half baked propagandas |
Do they actually expect that they would be paid for the period that they are on strike? |
The first thing would have been to verify if she actually bought a car or she's just catching cruise. We've seen people do that before on social media. If she actually bought the car, those questioning the source of the money are not out of place. |
I admit that I didn't watch the show. But from what I was reading online, I thought that this year's show would rather reward entertainment than reward those playing the pity card. Was this Imisi girl among the best entertainers in the show? |
Breaker001:So other housemates do not have Grace? What a lazy way to think. |
The PDP presidential candidate that the North wants is Goodluck Jonathan. But the candidate that the Wike group (and by implication, Tinubu) wants is Seyi Makinde. Oh wait, I thought Wike and Makinde ought to be fighting. Really? This man, Jagaban, is redefining politics. |
Most of the comments are ignorant of the topic, as usual. The REA serves rural communities that are not connected to the national grid. They use solar energy. Those of you disputing the claims are talking of rural communities connected to the national grid. Those are not the communities he is referring to. |
Yet again, Mad Over You by Runtown is omitted. It seems all these compilers are suffering from selective amnesia so they can't remember this song that was the number one song in West Africa for almost a year. |
Mad over you by Runtown should be in the top 10. That song was one of the biggest hits of all time. |
Most Nigerians online, especially young Nigerians, are so gullible. And there are people who take advantage of this gullibility to sell or shape narratives that are false. The cancellation of Naira Marley after Mohbad's death is just one of many such false narratives. The fake news of a massacre at Lekki Toll Gate was one that nearly burned down the country. I remember in the heat of the fake news, Omotola Jalade posted that people should stop spreading the fake news and she was quickly hushed down with threats of cancellation. And she deleted the post. Many people knew the news was fake but they were afraid to come against the huge propaganda machine selling the narrative. Then, there is this Peter Obi phenomenon that started around 2022. The regular politician that was largely considered a failure by his people during his term and afterwards, or at best mediocre, suddenly became the best governor Nigeria ever had. The man who largely lived in Onitsha barely unnoticed before 2022 now suddenly could not dare walk the streets without the risk of being mobbed. There will be more online media false narratives in the future and, sadly, people will fall for them, even people who think that they are intelligent. |
The salary Bode George is referring to is the Local Government workers salaries. The federal allocations to Osun State LGAs have been withheld for some months now. Why is it difficult for people to read and reason properly these days? |
Matchay:On the other hand, it could be as a result of the improvement of power supply witnessed lately across the country. It's not compulsory that you must think negatively all the time. |
frugal:We all pronounced it as "masset". I believe that is why he put it in quotes |
Why put Soludo in that list. Even when someone is talking about another person, Obi will jump in and and say he was the one talked about. Soludo was referring to Ukachukwu, the APC gubernatorial candidate in Anambra State and not Peter Obi. |
If you make a list of people who had criticized Atiku, it will also be this long. |
You all are commending Traore for renovating their national stadium. But if this was in Nigeria, you all would have been questioning the cost of 300 million dollars and condemning the project |
ElevationD:So because Wike was financing the party, he should have also paid the mere 100,000 naira annual ground rent? And why couldn't they pay even when the PDP was in power? Maybe, Wike should be blamed too if the national secretariats run out of printing papers or biros. |
For the President to take the sudden drastic action of imposing a state of emergency, there must be reliable security reports before him that Governor Sim was behind the blowing up of the pipelines. Sim supporters in Rivers State are not even hiding it that they are behind the bombing of our oil facilities. Or at least, they are giving the impression that they are behind the bombings. And the governor has not deemed it fit to condemn the bombings or call for restraint. All these after he made a public declaration that he would soon give them the instructions to act. If the President wanted the governor removed by all means, he will get it by impeachment even if due process was circumvented. So for him to toe this tedious line is an indication that there was an urgent need to remove the governor. |
Henix:If he wanted to, the governor could have got almost all the assembly men to his side after they came back from the Abuja accord. He did not even attempt or explore this angle. I know that for sure. That was the fatal mistake he made. On impeachment, there is no plan to impeach the governor as being speculated. It is even unnecessary at this point. It is the governor that is baiting the Assembly to impeach him, that is what he desires. But Wike knows better, this game. He has got Sim where he wants him and impeaching him at this point will even be doing the governor a favour. |
