I am surprised that the Federal Government of Nigeria is yet to make an official statement concerning the public holiday it declared for our Muslim brothers and sisters which fell into the last day of fasting.

My worry now is that if our Muslim brothers and sisters have to observe the 2 days Salah break, won't it affect those going to work on friday if friday isn't declared a public holiday.

I think the federal government should make a statement to avoid organizations, that may sanction their workers who are muslims that won't show up for work on Friday, not to look like they are religiously bias.

If the two days of public holidays still remains Wednesday and Thursday, the government should affirm it but if not. They should officially declare it so.

It is better to allow someone who isn't better than them our any other person than to allow them to continue getting away with their acts. So that the next government that comes into power will be careful to do the will of the people or else be shown the way out

Even though it is an allegation, there seem to be some level of truth in this staggering criminality. We shouldn't be surprised that this kind of looting is still going on till now.

Had it been this government was sincere about halting corruption, they would have drafted a bill to ensure that all citizens file all their assets yearly including the worth of the asset and source of the acquisition of all their assets on the website of the FIRS and EFCC (both should work as a single body i.e. in sharing data) and be ready to lose any asset not registered or filed 6mnths after each year.

This should be done in addition to enforcing that any transaction from #1m must be done electronically to help trace money.

Mandating every citizen from 16years and above to register and have a National Identity Number that shall be linked to your BVN and phone number.

This would go a long way to help track people and their finances. But as expected by people like us who knew that this government that is also being backed by alleged corrupt looters won't want to expose it's caucus members.

Even the President can't openly list his assets to the public again because of the many mysteries behind it now. We are going deeper and deeper into a mess.

Charles Dunbar Burgess King (12 March 1875 – 4 September 1961) was a politician in Liberia of Americo-Liberian and Freetown Creole descent (his mother was an Americo-Liberian). He was a member of the True Whig Party, the oldest party in Liberia which ruled the country from 1878 until 1980.

King, who was a graduate of law, started his profession at the Supreme Court and later at the State Department. He was among the individuals who signed the Treaty of Versailles.

King was the Attorney General from 1904 to 1912. He moved on to become the Secretary of State in 1912 and held the post until 1919.

He served as the 17th President of Liberia from 1920 until 1930.
President Charles King won the 1927 presidential elections with a landslide victory that earned him a third term in office and a place in history but different from what he might have imagined.

The Guinness Book of Records (1982) qualified the elections as the most fraudulent ever reported in world history. 15,000 thousand Americo-Liberians only were registered to vote but the official election results showed that an unbelievable 240,000 votes were cast in favour of Charles King.

After apparently acquiring his presidential post fraudulently, he appeared to have acquired adversaries because of the poor economic state of his nation. This condition constrained him to look for financial help from the United States government. Indeed, even that method was tedious as negotiations took seven months because of Congress ending all foreign loans and extension of foreign loans.

Even after the House finally gave its endorsement for a loan, Congress despite everything obstructed the loan. This left Liberia open to exploitation by the British and French.

While King was in office, he faced accusations from the defeated presidential candidate, Faulkner of forced labour and slave-trade within the country. The then League of Nations, which Liberia joined in 1919, established a commission under the British government to investigate the allegations.

In 1930, the League of Nations published their findings, indicting King and his cabinet.

Subsequently, King, his Vice President Allen Yancy and some members of his cabinet resigned.

King died on September 4, 1961.

How can you absolve a man who claims to be a leader of blame from his wrong decisions?

When you are dining with the devil, this is expected. You won't be able to speak outrightly against the evil cause of your personal and greedy interest.

We shall all suffer the misgovernance together whether you are home or abroad. I assure them it will reach everybody.

But those of us who want the best for this country will continue making it difficult for those in power and their enslaved warriors from trying to destroy this country by speaking out against their ineptitude and corruption.

This is the kind of enslaved mindset I have been saying they have built and implanted in the brains of the supporters of this government.

The kind of treatment some Nigerians are receiving in their country is worse than the treatment many black slaves received from the white masters.

In developed countries, the government is praised by its citizens for formulating and implementing nation-building POLICIES and not roads, bridges and underground rail lines because they know that the implementation of sound policies will bring about even development of a nation.

In under-developed countries like Nigeria, the enslaved praise the government when they see some kilometres of roads, airports or rail lines being constructed, salaries being paid (not minding the amount embezzled in the process), because they don't understand the value of formulating and implementing sound policies and the government isn't willing to make the country better by doing so.

A government is remembered not for building bridges and railways but for formulating and implementing people-oriented lasting policies.

That there are still some people who are drumming support for this government shows how far the nation has fallen in values and dignity.

So you are telling us to do what now? It is a pity what a whole military of a huge country like Nigeria has been reduced to. This information is what even a layman in that area would know.

The Nigeria Army Intelligence should produce better results with the huge budget it gets by infiltrating major terror groups and bandits and dismantling their structures and not this layman information they are giving us.

Nigeria is made up of so many intelligent people, they shouldn't be fooled by some of the people who have chosen to be enslaved by the politicians in power. We know we deserve far better than what you are giving us, in comparison to the resources they have access to.
