That’s why I said professionals because they’ve built different kinds of houses and have so much experience so without seeing a plan, since they must have built a four bedroom bungalow before, they will have an idea of what am asking without needing to see the house plan. If you know what I mean. They are professionals, common.... they can figure this out easy out of experience without looking at the plan. They must have built a four bedroom bungalow before. |
Location is in otta sir. Am not really looking for prices of materials but the quantity of materials for a four bedroom bungalow from foundation to lintel. 2trips of sand, one tipper of gravel etc.... if you know what I mean. ![]() |
Hello house, am currently on my four bedroom bungalow project. Already done the foundation. I plan on starting work on the site again soon beginning from filling the foundation, am not doing the German Floor cos my research made me understand that it’s not compulsory. Am going to fill the foundation and start setting of blocks. Plus pillars are around the foundation already. I want to raise the building from foundation to lintel. Can the professionals in the house assist me with the amount of sharp sand, granite, soft sand cement that I will need to raise this building to lintel. No need to including prices. I would really appreciate your reply’s. Am hoping the popular builders in the house like spyder880, hajj mufutau will also see this post and advise me. Thanks all in advance. I will probably open a new thread to show my building from foundation till finish when it’s time so that others willing to embark on such project but don’t know much can get one or two ideas from the project updates. |
Ewooo ♀️See this house o....O boi, this house don stand finish o. See as e fine finish. Well done o honourable spyder880. We keep Following. And congratulations to the owner of this beautiful house. Not finished yet but it’s already looking beautiful. It will look so sweet when it’s done. |
These omonile people are just crazy touts. They collect money for foundation, roofing and fencing awon wherey. And if you don’t give them, they will cause so much trouble for you and your project. Nigerian government needs to do something about them. They are making people’s lives miserable because of their laziness and not wanting to work. Awon wherey. |
Thank you all for your response |

But #35,000 is too much to spend at a go in a restaurant. When you can cook the same food in your house for 5k if not less. Money is hard these days so spend wisely. |
We trust you sir |
Following as usual. I can’t believe how much I’ve learnt about building construction on NL. Me that didn’t even know what parapet is now I can boldly explain to others how to start a building from foundation to roofing including materials needed, cost of materials as at now etc...Am still learning, so following as usual. Feels really good to be following threads concerning buildings. I always look forward to updates. |
So sorry oooo. Chai, I can imagine how you felt knowing your hard earned money wasn’t put to good use. And thanks for making everyone know he is a scam. I just feel sorry for the people who will still fall victim to his ad. |

No, I mean to build the foundation of a 4 bedroom bungalow. Just foundation. How many blocks, cements etc |
Good evening everyone, I know this is an old thread, since 2017. But am hoping I can get answers to my questions from experienced builders or from people who are currently on the same project. Am starting a four bedroom bungalow project next month by Gods Grace, and would like to know how much it would cost me for a four bedroom bungalow foundation. How many blocks and cement I will need. I would like to have an idea just to avoid being ripped off. Although I don’t plan to give the job or give money to an engineer who will want to bill me recklessly. I plan to buy materials myself because I want my hard earned money to go a long way. Thanks in advance for your reply’s. Please help a sister oooo ![]()

Trust me mr atheist, God exists. Maybe everything else you said makes sense but that God doesn’t exists, I don’t believe that. I believe God exist if not how come there’s so many planet, rain, sun, life itself in general, how come it exists. |
