Present ma...!

My EDD is December 6 according to my LMP... I feel so heavy these days with small bump; I can't turn easily while lying down and Dec is still far... Once in a while, my stomach feels so hard and then it goes... I also have catarrh that's always on shift duty (it comes late in the night and leaves around 12noon d following day)... Apart frm all these, am fit as a fiddle...

Eating is now my hobby... Atleast, I'll regain the 13kg I lost thru first trimester MS...

Thanks for checking up on me sweetie, it hasn't been well at all. I had episiotomy and it broke down. I didn't know, I have been in severe pains.
I can't sit, sleep, walk, eat, carry my ds, I've lost weight. The pain is from hell mehn!
I've gone back to see d gynae, he had to remove d stitches. The wound is so wide and deep. I'm doing sitz bath with warm water and salt. Dh said d wound is healing. I'm supposed to be going for dressing every 2 days but no one to leave my baby for. Dh can't handle him and mum goes to work.

Mum Babatunde, good to hear from you... Sorry for the discomforts u are going through... Pls kindly follow the advice offered by senior mamas Lovinam and Zaynie... Your health first! You need to be very healthy to give ur baby full care...

Also, if you don't mind, you can scout for elderly women (I mean grandmas) within ur family that you trust to stay with you for a while... I know that these women are always eager to take care of newborns cos it kills boredom for them too...

God has made my family smile again.

After 7hrs of active augumented labour, my bundle of joy, my "bababatunde", the one that came to console my family on the death of my father; baby Dominique Iwinosa,Owie has finally landed at abt 5:05pm 30/6/2016.

Hey pple.....this vigilante thing is beyond real.!i'm sorry BS is coming late,but as they say better late than never......my Edd was originally 5th of July.I had high bp,that seemed uncontrollable. Dr tried different bp drugs. when we clocked 37weeks,baby weighed 2.07kg which was small...so dr said he would bring him out via cs when he clocks 38weeks....reasons being that he had growth restriction,cos of the bp,2..i've had a previous surgery for fibroid,then he said baby was too small to struggle through labour. when he clocked 37weeks and 5days,i did another scan,baby was still same weight,so dr decided to bring him out,hubby went home to bring my load. I was admitted and has cs the next day.Hubby was with me in the theatre. Baby came out weighing 2.15kg. Dr sayas he'll add weight with time. He's small,but his bones re so strong,he eats like......and I didn't know I could love ny1 like I love him. thank God once again....congrats to ll mama's that have put to bed....safe deliver to those remaining!

No need to fret abt baby's weight like ma'am faithisallihave said... My last sibling was born @ 7months (vaginaBirth) and my mum was battling with HBP too... My Dad told us that she was so small that my mum was scared & refused to touch or look at her after the first glance... The baby was kept in the incubator for some weeks... My parents cudn't do her naming ceremony until 3months after her birth...

That same pre-mature baby is 25 years old now... She works in a bank and the only one currently keeping my mum's company at home cos Dad is now late... She is the biggest of us and her bones are strong like anything... She can eat for Africa...

So ma'am, enjoy ur baby... #hugs

@ SisiNini and Favouredmom, i only began to notice movement @ 20 weeks. its a nice feeling when they start poking u or hiccuping but not so sweet when their bones are strong. @favouredmom, congrats if u are carrying two and enjoy the flutters.

Hello everyone, I'm 20weeks gone and I'm officially registering as #teamNovember, I've nt had any MS so far, in fact I eat anything palatable, even b4 I started showing dh was doubting my pregnancy saying I connived with d doctor to extort money from him! Funny!! As a ftm, and considering my age, (a little over 20) I'm surprisingly ready for delivery, I dnt knw where d energy is coming from, I'm nt scared one bit. I already have a workout plan of how everything will go, I will practically give birth myself, lol, because I already have those nurses in mind, I won't allow them to push me around.
Let me share some of my plans:
I'm going to be on my feet and start walking immediately I feel contraction or see mucus plug
No going to d hospital no matter how strong d contraction is except if my water breaks early, or if I'm 5mins apart, reason is I feel dat wen dey start inserting hand every hour it causes more pain.
No doctor is going to keep me on d bed, wen it's time to push I pray baba God give me d strength to be on my feet, gravity can help.
My MIL, mum and husband are just making jest of me saying wen labour comes I won't even remember all these. Last week dey forced me to one iya alagbo (traditional) house, dat one was just pressing my stomach anyhow, if u see how I vex for dem saying d mama want to dent my baby's head.
Mama zaynie I go register ooo, just cool ur mind.
Sorry for d long post, ema binu!

Mamas we were robbed o! I am just getting over the shock sef, we woke up to see all our windows open. they used long sticks & parker to scoop up our phones and laptops from outside , they even stole my hubbys wallet from his trousers.
please if you live downstairs or in a bungalow, do not keep your valuables or handbags close to the windows, keep them in your wardrobes instead.
To think that me and dh sleep stark naked, who knows if these thieves live around us. I dunno if they used jazz cos my phone was just beside dh and they scooped it without us waking up. God protect your children o.
I am grateful to God I didn't see them, cos I wake up a lot at night to pee, who know? I might have fainted at the sight of them in action, or they might have harmed us. help us thank God o, that they didn't break in and attack us physically, or demand for more items.
I know that God would divinely replace all we lost in Jesus name. Amen.

I had a similar experience some years ago...

I was having a nightmare that thieves were attacking us and I suddenly woke up out of fear... I was the only one in the room and it was stark dark... I got up immediately and put on the light cos I was afraid...

As the light went on like this, I saw the frame of a huge guy with a long stick (and nails on it)... Infact, his hands and the stick were in the room... He had scattered everywhere (me wey dey always form 'at alert' wen am sleeping)... He had removed the net and everything, it was the burglary that prevented him frm entering...

I put off the light immediately and screamed ehn... Na all my neighbours come out that night o... Na so the thief take run and dropped his 'instruments' in my room...

1. Make sure you kneel down with both legs touching the floor when you meet your MIL/FIL: for the first time. even if una dey for middle of road, . that is the first test, you know say dem they always talk say we no get respect. prove them wrong o.
2. offer to carry any load they have, if they come around. relieve your MIL of her handbag with face full of smiles o.
3. DO NOT REJECT ANY FOOD! make sure you chop finish lick plate, don't wait for MIL for serve you, do like say u dey follow am enter kitchen, if she allows you fine, if not insist on packing on washing plates.
4. make sure you call all your SIL/BIL Anti mi /Boda mi. whether them senior you or not.
5. don't go and be doing touching body with their son in their presence o . pretend you have not kissed, even with your protruding belle.)
6. don't be pressing phone when you people are talking, always keep a smile on your face, curtsy whenever you are thanking your MIL/FIL
7. don't be deceived by the plenty Iyawo wa they are calling you o, until una marry, you are not the wife yet o, stay humble.
8.Tell ur fiancé to tell you about them, what they like, dislike, learn how to greet them in their language, they value it a lot.
9.Commit every thing to Gods hands.
10. Go bearing gifts o ;. Jewellery and Lace for Mama Wa, Expensive stationary for Baba Wa

DH and I have agreed not to let anyone know this until delivery, it's hard for me to keep it away from my sisters but I have to be an obedient wife.

I'm no longer surprised I had terrible MS, maybe it was the twin syndrome thingy because sometimes, I threw up like 5 times in a day, sorry TMI. I had to take leave away from work as I couldn't cope running to the bathroom everytime I felt nauseous. It was that bad but surprisingly at 11weeks 4 days, the vomitting miraculously reduced and I started eating. I've lost about 8kg since the beginning of pregnancy but my appetite is gradually coming back and I'm eating in moderation again. I still throw up like once a day, usually early in the morning, but it's so much better now. This is my testimony.

@ enque we will have to ginger our teammates as much as possible. I guess the MS is still dealing with a lot of them and some people have not yet discovered this thread. They'll come around hopefully.
