Gender equality is a mind set, some ladies believe they are equal to a man while many believe they would never be equal, if you like pass the bill 10x.

It's not a mindset...it starts from the kind of training handed down by the parents of the child. If a parents trains up his female ward with the consciousness that she is equal to her brothers in all ramification then she grows up with such a mentality but if the parent teacher her that she has to be humble and respectful (grooming her towards being a better wife and mother) then she will as well grow up knowing she can rub shoulders with her husband.

I have always said women can't handle success, it gets to their head too much that pride becomes their second name. Am not saying what this man did to this woman was right but if she wasn't proud and perhaps arrogant to the man, he wouldn't have been push to the wall to do this to her. Women should learn to be humble at least to their husbands, when they get successful. It pays and ensure a happy home.
