Let me tell you. Before the British came, we already knew where custody belonged. Igbo land, Hausa Land or Yoruba land, they all had customs and practices when a man and woman part ways. But see wetin white man Don bring come to cause confusion... The reason why we did not need to go to court were 1. All children belong to us 2. The village raises a child In Yoruba land, did you know that some times to hide the shame that one woman was barren, they gave her a child or called her Mama Bola? ![]() A child will be taken care of. The family will take care of that child. There is nothing like custody. Once English legal systems were introduced (eventually leading to laws such as Nigeria’s Matrimonial Causes Act 1970), principles like the best interests of the child began to reshape custody decisions, replacing purely traditional approaches. It takes a village to raise a child, not the state.

15. 👵 Women over 50 - More likely to experience sexual inactivity. Kobojunkie believes that men's own is hidden. ![]() |

bibiking7:Salaries and everyday spending by the government to keep the country running. Administration costs and things like that. It is the opposite of the capital spending, that one is for huge spendings. That's why it is not called recurrent. Recurrent is from the word recur. Recurrent is everyday spending, capital is for projects. |
You are a millionaire, congratulations. Don't spend more than 115 naira please. |
SP Akpabio. This is the Number 1 Rule.

udder:How old were you when this happened? How long had you been masturbating before this? |
This reminds me of when Amaechi said they should be stoned. Politicians in Nigeria are righteous before and after they leave power but become something else once they get there. Be reminded that when Amaechi said his own, he was not yet Minister with Buhari. So he had second chance to test the mic. "We Steal Because You Never Stoned Us for It" -Rivers Gov, Rotimi Amaechi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug0ifwslG84 |
Those porting to APC are strange bed fellows. Let's wait. Let APC keep setting the trap like Festus Keyamo said. It happened with PDP but people don't learn. I will be more worried having all of them come to my party but let's wait, 2026 will show us the way. What's interesting is that Tinubu himself did not budge when PDP was taking the South West by storm in 2003. I value courage and strength of character over submission; even resistance is more honorable than passive compliance.

Guestmale:Children don't even understand the value of money until they start working and earning money on their own.

Sheuns:Okay let me add to this fun fact You can't hear yourself snore when you sleep ![]() |
McBishop2020:Wise words but what I meant is that burial is a ritual, death is an event. Except he's Muslim, it's possible the man died a year ago and got buried 6 months ago ![]() |

Why don't you leave her alone? If you don't do single mothers, go for single ladies and let the men who cant take them do that? Men don't complain like this. They set standards and hold to it. |
Looks like a kid wrote this. Even with that, being buried 6 months ago does not mean he died 6 months ago. |
NiRfreak:I know this is a double edged sword. Is this why they have not been married? Are you the one vetting the men who are interested in them? Are you also married? You know how we do things here. They could be waiting for you to go ahead first since you are the senior. |
The problem of mathematics is English. Read that again. Slowly. |
I disagree slightly with Oshiomole. All Farouk needs to do to subvert (jungle) justice is to join APC and all his sins will be forgiven and he may even be considered tomorrow for Minister of Petroleum. At least he's no longer a civil servant now he can join politics with all his chest 🤡 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qg_1mly5Gm8 |
FreeIgboho:Sorry for Mich. That scenario the person who quoted me gave, the first person to come to my mind was Vivian Foe of Cameroon 😢 but he didn't wake up. |
BondRiv:This is what I thought of when Dangote spilled tea on Farouk's son. Money cannot buy integrity, honor or wisdom. The best teacher to a child is his parents. Parents think they can buy the help of household help, teachers and camps. It's like parents just think that once we can drop that child in this place, everything will be fixed or resolved. It's not just the children of the rich, it's everyone. Many parents are so lazy today, Gen X and Millennials have failed. Many people criticize Boomers but at least, they built sensible children with the knowledge they had. The woke generation that thinks they know everything have let the ball down and as a society, we now have individual parenting trending. Everyone is doing it their own way now. Gentle parenting, talk to the child, beating is abuse, this and that. Our ITK don land us for where we no know. I prefer this interpretation in the picture. But if the father does not give discipline, who is the phuuul The father or the unguided child? Before you bring a child to this world, have a vision board. God guide us.
|
Kanixt:. It's not easy. Children often take the traits of their parents or grand parents. The child may take the activism trait of the father but in a different direction. Fatherhood is not easy but it pays to put an effort and know you failed than put in no effort and regret you did not try enough. Children need mending, amending and everything to shape them into being responsible men and women.

They put his career in danger. Politicians will come and go, barrack will remain. |
Trump cancelled some orders given by Biden with the autopen. Maybe it is time to review that and also put it in the law because people were reported to sign on behalf of Yar Adua and now Buhari. Buhari, if he loved this country should have resigned. He said it in the first term that he wished he was young so what went wrong? You could have had a great legacy if you passed the mantle to Yemi or left the place if your health was a challenge.

Dreams last only seconds ![]() You mean all those Scene 1, Act 2 and adverts in your dream is just in seconds? I disagree with this 50 shades of lies ![]() You mean to tell me what Joseph/Yusuf had that is written in Abrahamic books is only some seconds and even God spoke to him in seconds? Na lie ![]() Those of us who go back to sleep to continue a sweet dream don't believe this. Anyhow sha, 1hr = how many seconds? ![]() |
Thank you for living up to your words and thank you to the person who supported you. May you not lack support in time of need. Amen.

When you go back to history and the evolution of society, you will understand why marriage was treated as an important institution. It is the only institution you attend where a certificate is given at the start. In other things in life, they want you to be patient and learn before getting what you cherish the most. In marriage, you can decide to be stoopeed and tear the certificate. You will not understand its value but with time you will. Marriage is an institution that helps us with society. It helps us with family. It helps us with human relationships. The society then knew that for society to progress, the children have to be mined. Therefore, both men and women had to be responsible and role models for the future of humanity. Marriage then wasn't about love, it was about putting structures in place. That's why families met. Unfortunately, the oyinbo came and deceived us and said two people should join together in their blindness, then they find out that love is blind, marriage is the eye opener. Those who married for love know that love alone cannot sustain marriage. You grow in love, you learn tolerance, you learn how to live with someone else, you learn how to live with another family. Love grows. They had people then who will investigate your family then if you liked someone, you don't just pick and choose or bend down to pick a girl yourself then start fighting your mom or she's fighting her dad. They arranged all these things from the start. Compatibility started from there. If they had the knowledge of genotype, I'm sure they would have added it to their list. They screened the families. It's okay to choose who you marry but you must be guided. Today, everyone wants to do it alone but they are too young and phuleash in their haste. Girls were asking why the girl child was primed for her husband's house. Hello. Career girl, tell us what's up? Women thought they were in bondage and cannot live their dreams because children will interfere with their career. Ask women who give birth and are working, their perspective shifts immediately they bring a child to this world vs when they are me me me. Humanity is talking about low fertility rates today but it is not just that. There is no structure again. Women are free to have babies for who they want to but there is no institution to preserve lineage. There is so much to write but marriage may be old fashioned but it remains the most common sense approach humanity accepted to regulate society. We are seeing the result of no marriage today. Does it look like what we want? |
