sheeda995:This has all the signs of a young woman written on it. This person should be in her 20s. I will really like that you go marry abroad and tell us in 5 years time what you found out. Congratulations |
Marry the both of them, it is allowed. |
Racoon:He was there in 2015 when he had the accident in Abuja and many queried why he couldn't use the state hospital. He is a man of 9 lives. ![]()

Xscape1993:Actually Akpabio built a WORLD CLASS HOSPITAL when he was a Governor but later had an accident but could not be taken there for some treatment. Car Crash: Akpabio Flown Abroad For Treatment Car Crash: Akpabio Flown Abroad For Treatment by Nobody: 4:24am On Sep 02, 2015 A former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio, was on Tuesday afternoon flown out of Nigeria to receive medical attention abroad. It was learnt that the senator, in company with about five of his aides, left the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja aboard a regular private jet that he usually travels with. Sources at the airport told our correspondent that Akpabio and his team arrived at the General Aviation Terminal, local wing, of the airport around 12.40pm. It was learnt that the former governor was conveyed to his aircraft by a tarmac bus and was fit physically when sighted at the airport. An official of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, who saw the senator while he was about to board his aircraft, said, “He (Akpabio) was at the GAT local wing of the airport and one of the tarmac buses was used to convey him to his aircraft. He left around 20 minutes to 1pm. “The flight conveying him on the trip taxied to the international terminal from where it took off. The former governor travelled with his own private flight and had about five persons who accompanied him on the trip. He looked physically okay, although some of the men with him said he might receive medical attention abroad due to the car crash he was involved in on Monday.” Akpabio, who is currently the Minority Leader of the Senate, was involved in a car accident on his way to the airport to catch an international flight on Monday. His car ran into a convoy of some United State’s embassy officials while trying to beat the traffic light. It was learnt that the occupants of the vehicles in the convoy of the US embassy and Akpabio’s driver did not sustain any injury but the senator suffered some injuries in the chest region. It was gathered that the accident occurred around 7.25am near the Bolingo Hotel, along Abuja Airport Road, in the Central Business District of the FCT, and Akpabio was immediately rushed to the National Hospital, Abuja for an intensive care. Akpabio, it was learnt, was travelling outside the country on Monday to visit his wife and children when the accident happened. The US Embassy also confirmed that the convoy of the former governor collided with a suburban jeep belonging to the mission. The Senior Information Specialist in the embassy, Sani Mohammed, stated that local authorities had commenced investigation into the accident. The Head, Media Relations and Strategy, Federal Road Safety Corps, Bisi Kazeem, said seven adult males were involved in the crash, adding that three of them including Akpabio sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital. https://www.nairaland.com/2569814/car-crash-akpabio-flown-abroad |
Wait, all these politicians stealing our money never thought it worthy to build good hospitals here in Nigeria but they build and buy houses abroad 🤡 |
Improve yourself and be careful before choosing a woman in your life. First, improve yourself. It never stops, even after marriage. Don't take marriage advice from women. Listen to what men tell you. You need to learn from men before bringing any woman into your life and most importantly, choose from her family. Don't be blinded by fantasy love. Study other men and observe. Take advice from elders, it will save you 30 years of mistakes. Advice 2 Try to learn solitude. It will help you focus and know yourself. Study old philosophy - Stoicism, Martial Arts or any related field for discipline, African Proverbs for wisdom, and history for identity. You will need these to navigate different situations in life.

This should be a reminder to always question them. Always question them. Don't be deceived by pictures. They are not enemies. Whether you are agbadorian, obidient or atikulate or else, in Dino Melaye's voice, you go chop ________ |
Evangelisttj:I just wanted to remind you that you are the leader of the house. Don't get lost in this redefinition. You and your wife are not partners. The woman is looking up to your leadership. They are not looking to your partnership. They don't see you as equals except you create that. Women defer to authority. They are not led by partnership. I am not going to bother you but be the man of your house. You are the leader. Don't let them tell you otherwise.

OP I wanted to add, from your comments, you sound like someone who has a good head WRT material things. In psychology, it is said that decluttering helps you to renew your energy and makes space for new things. If you want new things to come into your life, you have to be willing to let go of the old. Spiritually, you are told to give out even some things you old dear so that you are not too attached to this material world. A life of a minimalist is free 🫡 I know you may have come across some of these pictures but I believe both of you have different philosophies, so the day you have a discussion, a friendly one, she will LISTEN to you. Currently, she's hearing you but not listening. When you let the other person explain themselves and they are willing to hear you, trust me, things will start to change from there.

Evangelisttj:You may want to ask her about growing up. It may come from her childhood. Most of the things we show as adults are what we grew up with. Why does she keep things? What is she afraid of? Maybe her mom kept things like this and it became useful one day. Maybe in school a friend of hers sold one antique item for a good amount. Don't make it about the things she keeps, just have a normal conversation so she doesn't feel attacked or on the edge which will make her defensive. And don't judge, just try to understand. The day you sit with her to understand her childhood and circumstances that made her keep things for the rainy day, you'll learn a lot and she too will either learn or unlearn. You may find out if she is a hoarder and she doesn't know. In fact, look for those series that show how hoarders live. It may spark something in her. Many times, we are living on autopilot without ever pausing to ask WHY DO I EVEN DO WHAT I DO ![]() |
One of the things you'll have to learn as a man is ignoring things, especially trivial things. However I will not consider something important to you as trivial but when you play with women on that level, they start to lose respect for you. Just do what you need to do and talk less, let your actions speak more than your words. Throw the things away yourself. Women are nurturers. Be careful before you start being the big baby man they are taking care of. I have seen this with many men and did not understand it. Women, in their nurturing and taking care of the home start to treat you like a tenant in your own house. They always look for what to take care of and it's sometimes unconscious when they are doing it. You will see more of this with couples in their 60s - 70s when their kids have left the home and it's only both of them living together. You start to hear of grumpy daddy and that man complains too much and they start to joke about him. That's why I cannot call what is important to you trivial. If it matters to you so much, set your boundaries. Just state what you like and what you don't like. One day, take something she has thrown into the garbage and keep it somewhere she can see maybe in your bedroom. That should pass the message. |
The African mind is so enslaved, it leaves the issues at home and goes to look for validation abroad. Charity begins at home. This reminds me of the time when there were shootings in France and my people were changing their profile pictures to 'stand with France' but when France won the world cup with your brothers, they reminded you that they were French. It is how some people take sides with Iran and they live in Kaduna or how someone in Aba is taking side with Israel. You think it's just Muslims? No. Nigerians have lost their culture. They don't know who they are, this is why they try to attach themselves to what gives them meaning. Lose your culture and history, lose your identity. It's okay to be on the side of the oppressed in Palestine but bro, have you asked your brothers what's up with Nigeria? Religion is another tool we have left in the hand of opportunists to create division amongst our people. While religion has had positive influences, it has also been exploited to manipulate, control, and undermine rational thinking. I have no problem with religion but I will advise you spend more time learning about your roots. You will be empowered and free minded they day you start that.

Resumption of enforcement. Was the enforcement suspended? Does a directive or order have stop date? Did it go on holiday break? Police should reduce the volume. Stop embarrassing itself 🤡 |
Lai Muhammed, don't open wounds. Just keep quiet jeje and don't cause more problems for your brother. Your eight years has gone and we all saw that Buhari wasn't that special after all. Let sleeping dogs lie figuratively and realistically. The site is not allowing us upload images but this was Lai Muhammed saying they had intel on the terrorists when he was in government and don't need America to tell us what to do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gf0ViQhGWZk

My seeds are very precious so I have to choose a woman who will raise future kings. She has to be smart and know her values. She thinks like a man, acts like a woman. Not in Steve Harvey's ways. I need a strong backup and she has to be someone that I am satisfied with leaving my kids with in case I kpai tomorrow. My generation will thank me for choosing her. Sex is just how many mins enjoyment? Anyone can fork so I won't get carried away by pleasure. The people I would have chosen are married but given what I saw in her interview I'll choose _____. |
He has planned his script for getting away with this crime. PTSD and all that nonsense he wrote is just an avenue to get a good lawyer to defend his case. He wants the issues documented. May God not enslave our brains and give us the true freedom we need to be someone of value wherever we are. Amen.

Gerrard59:There is nothing, absolutely nothing you can do to satisfy women 100%. Once you know this, protect your energy. That's why men whose wives cheat on them should thank God for showing her the way out. A man should live up to his responsibility emotionally, financially and everything but he must not try to overdo it because a woman who will never be satisfied will never be. That's why it's more important to choose a woman who's crazy over you than you her over her. E get why. Women's minds get easily distracted by comparing themselves to one another. That's their flaw. You can be doing well but just because she sees onean doing better than you, you become the problem or you are not doing well enough. As a king, you must know your worth and most importantly, choose a virtuous woman. E get why. Watch this 10 mins video on secret people. You will learn more about women's manipulation using sex and appearing vulnerable as a control tool for men https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TDNCKQfJyc

muyico:Rage bait is the word of the year. Brain rot is the currency of social media. |
There's nothing women do that's not to their favor. Women are very cold and calculating. They don't take any decisions that does not involve their survival. Even when Buchi who used to write about women and their liberation talked about polygamy as a way of marriage, it was still about the WOMAN. Always the woman. That's why women are not best friends as in laws. They know themselves too well. Always looking for control. And the man who is the price, prize and source is the resource. Yesterday I read one Nairalander who said she married her husband thinking she would have fair children or light skinned children. I read that message and smh because in the man's mind he had no idea he was a launchpad to get what she really wanted. Women are always looking for a means of survival, don't pay attention to them. Watch what they do not what they say. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YZJ3pohooM If women loved themselves, they would easily produce the next president and Governor because they have the numbers but they never want to admit their own scam. Always looking at blaming men or not accepting responsibility for their own faults.

Marriage benefits who Men are dispensable and disposable. The marriage institution was necessary to protect society. What we have today is the result of letting women go freely and do as they want or wish. Left to women, they could go on having children for 6-7 men without thinking about the consequences. Women do not like men who keep to structure because it checks their 'freedom'. Women are the source of life on earth so men figured that the society needs to protect this privilege if the owners don't know the importance of what they carry in their wombs.

thrillionaire:Please don't open the Pandora box. I discovered this early when series started around 2005/6. I realized that I was hooked to watching my favorite and ever since then, I said never again. The highest series I've watched that has not wasted too much of my time is Mr Bean's Man vs Bee. I think that was an average of 13 mins per episode. The Game of Thrones and other series, I refuse to watch them. Though some series are very good but it has to be worth my time. |
It's always the proverbial saying that you don't know the value of what you have until you lose it. The best people to ask are japa and japadians but some will run away and start abusing the country like it is a cursed land. Okay o. The country is beautiful, its people are not perfect. |
@thrillionaire Parents today think that giving their kids gadgets from an early age will make them smart but thank God there's AI now. We can now see that the old process of reading, writing and the traditional methods can never fail you. If I have any advice to a parent, it is to prevent their child from using smartphone and technology till they are 13. Parents today need to learn how to teach their children CONTROL. The dopamine is like hard drugs, we can't just see it. We are raising adults who will not be able to think critically anymore. You can see it here on Nairaland. Some people think it's cruise, it is not. A forum is a place to exchange ideas and thoughts. You can see those who read to understand and those who read to reply. They are rage baiting and want all the attention because the tech companies are controlling them, dangling tiger, dragon and other monetary benefits to them to CONTROL THEM. The old parents back then controlled our TV. I miss those TVs in a box. Now, the smart TV is listening to you and curating what it wants to give you. Kids of that time are now parents today but they think they are going to parent differently by making the kids smart early through coding, gaming etc. Life is not a race, it is a journey. Give those kids the fundamentals of life before it hurts them in the future. A good example of why tech doesn't make you smart is the TikToker, I've forgotten his name. Pull out that channel and you'll see that there's nothing to offer anymore. But people are dangerously lured to the financial reward that they can't think long term.

thrillionaire:You thought your parents were missing out on what's happening in the world but the world was happening to them ![]() I have all those things but responsibilities of life make me spend less time on those things. Although, now we have our phones but the truth is that I cannot spend more than 1hr max on TV. TV too, when you grow older is to program you and your mind. The mind of the free reads. You have more control than the programming of other people who do not have your best interest at heart controlling you. ![]()

Nteogwuija:It's easy for a Nigerian to blame his enemy for his irresponsibility than to admit it. That's why religious people want the enemy to die. Most times, it's not the enemy, it's the enemy within, greed, laziness, and lack of ambition. |
The idea that one man, one woman is gold and polygamy is outdated |
I would watch more TV when I grow up. I will never be these adults who are missing out on the fun and entertainment. |
Indeed The Enemy within. It is a misnomer for the President or Governor to be the number one party man just because he won an election. The government can not last more than 8 years max but the party that produced him will be there forever. We are used to jagabandits kind of politics where we want one person to be the almighty, so there is no institutional mechanism to check his excesses. Trump is not more stronger than his Republican party. Zuma was taken out by his ANC as president. Nigerians are used to this king of politics syndrome, that's why the minsormer is normal to you. Let the parties have institutions that are stronger than their flag bearers and office bearers. helinues:

What he should have written is how the black man hates himself that he'd prefer the outsider to the insider. Let's start from there. |
