A professor of Law, Yemi Osinbajo was a vice presidential candidate to General Buhari. Not just a professor, a SAN. I don't want to waste space on the whole debacle of Buhari's certificate but in all of these I am happy Buhari at least showed us his classmates when he was president. Talk another one please. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Tf65EGOAgo Buhari Interracts With Classmates https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4-Ce3Y1aKM?

QuinQQ:1. If you had the opportunity to do this again, without the parents' posturing, will you do it again? 2. If your child turns 18 and does it, male or female, will you be okay with it? That is me assuming your daughter or son is not above 16/18 yet. 3. Will you say that this experience made you mature faster than your mates? |
queenbetsy:I have a few questions on this. Do. You mind me asking? |
QuinQQ:Did this experience make you a better man? Sounds dumb right? Were you ready to take it at that age since it was 1 time or you just had to accept it because it happened? I think we call that marry out of 'pity' |
Druss:And curses like thunder will fire her ![]() |
Chucks13:I don't know why this statement by the man sounds like Dave Umahi some weeks ago. She no even fine. If to say na Senator Natasha, ehn ehn |
QuinQQ:I've been so nosy about your affairs. Sorry about that. Last question, is my assumption correct that if it were not for the parents, you would have married that girl? (in MAGIC!'s voice ) I sense the parents affected your relationship, otherwise it would have been something you didn't mind.Edit: I will still ask questions but not about your relationship anymore. I like people sharing experiences and I don't judge, I just want to read or learn from their experiences. |
QuinQQ:Why was it a problem that she was pregnant and trying to hide it if the unborn baby was yours? Or was she sharing it with another man and you didn't know? |
What a tale by moonlight. He didn't see his social media posts until a day to the wedding? Fantastic father. |
Donald Trump that wants to be the sovereign leader of Iran after being the de facto leader of Venezuela for a few days? All the countries on his list better be careful. Iran, Cuba, Nigeria... "you are fired" |
QuinQQ:Wait, it wasn't your pregnancy? |
Election and selection.

Elzazzi:I completely understand that. It's the duty of the parents to bring them up and support them till they are comfortable. This is why families were very interested in marriages because the man's family would have done everything to raise him, support him so he can have his own home. This thing is still common in Asia and you will see that we have similar patterns when it comes to marriage unlike the West. They train you for responsibility and they support you but today, you are on your own. About the economy, let me tell you, economy will never be better. It's not a curse. It is just how life is, those who married just last year will find it easier to marry than those who want to marry today. Yesterday is always cheaper than today. Families are failing in raising both men and women properly today, they only care about western education and white collar jobs. The other things you are taught normally in most African traditions are 1. Sex 2. Food 3. Raising a child 4. How to be attractive to your spouse 5. Rituals A example is the fattening room. There are similar traditions to this all over Nigeria but we don't even bother to study our culture and traditions and find a way to merge it with today's realities. We just discard everything and start doing public proposal for a girl when you are yet to approach her family. https://www.tiktok.com/video/7475300334710164742 Sex for instance became a taboo because of religious texts and instead of children understanding it came with responsibility, they were scared with sins and they took the easy way out, condoms and preventive methods. Finance that you mentioned wasn't just having a trade that brought you money, they gave you land etc. They made sure you went through apprenticeship etc. It's not just about having money, but you were taught how to spend and where to spend. I am not living in utopia, I am realist. If parents are serious today, if they have a male child, do everything possible to support him to be a man. A responsible man. The economy is hard but would you rather your boy have baby mamas that will still be your responsibility or a father who knows what to do to fend for his family? Parents in the 70s, 80s and some still do today helped with housing, car or whathaveyou. Those things that will help you stabilize for 1-2 years. Things have changed today but we must apply sense. Did you see that post where that guy was saying that most of us today live scattered in cities and paying rent here and there when we could combine our money and stay in family houses? Everyone now wants to be independent and we all know it is easier when you combine resources than when you go alone. |
AI has been a menace since it was introduced. People don't even put effort anymore. They just dump AI slop on us. Pathetic. |
danvon:Try to be there is not a licence to try to be them! Let the children breathe and play please. Don't steal their show. |
QuinQQ:Did you marry or were you forced to marry because she was pregnant? |

queenbetsy:Something I should have added is that marriage teaches patience. I was listening to a man in his 100s say that people today are so quick to divorce at the slightest bang but they were brought up to weather it out. It's not to say people should suffer in silence if it is not working but it's only going to get worse in this me-centric times we live in where we put everything on the internet and we compare our filtered lives while others help us like, share and comment on what they have been shown. Everyone wants to he Mr and Mrs Right and they will always have fans even while plotting their own destruction. No one wants to compromise anymore or work to preserve the institution. Our alter ego is so big for the cameras that the ego no fit hear word again. Our lives are now a show |
PheelzAlmighty:Conformity: This refers to changing one’s behavior or beliefs to match the standards of a group to fit in or be accepted |
Won't tell the public but I can tell you that marrying young was never alien to Africans until the Western education confused them that they have to wait till they have PhD before they married. Meanwhile, marriage is a school of life and no amount of books can teach you. It's the only school where the certificate is given before you attend it. Some people tear theirs in the name of divorce. Your grandparents got married in their 19s and early 20s when it was most fertile for the woman and when the men had more energy to raise families. Today, they are bombarded with fear while not afraid to be chiking each other. Parents keep deceiving themselves that their children are not ripe for marriage but their body is going through hormonal changes. |
BlackfireX:Then they are not ripe enough to have sex. I don't mean ripe in terms of age but their mind is not ripe. The greatest fear of sex is having a child. Why? Responsibility. What do you think? |
BlackfireX:Unashamedly But not to scatter the place |

“Many of us do not believe that a new party will be registered under the current leadership of INEC. Dr. Mahmud Yakub is not Jega and President Tinubu is not Jonathan. Those were the people in charge when the APC was registered and many were pessimistic about the prospects of registering a new party, but we said, ‘let’s try it anyway.’” Insert the new INEC Chair. |
