Sakobi: The Snake Girl (1998)
Frank (Saint Obi) is a desperate man who joins a snake cult for quick wealth. He is ordered to sacrifice his young daughter, but the snake goddess rejects the innocent child. Instead of riches, Frank is cursed with a short lifespan. He tries to break the curse, but the cult catches him, and the movie ends with Sakobi turning into a giant snake and swallowing him whole.

Blood Money: The Vulture Men (1997)
Mike (Zack Orji) loses his job and joins a deadly secret cult called the Vultures to get rich. He accidentally sacrifices his friend's son for his initial wealth. When the cult demands a fresh sacrifice years later to keep the money flowing, Mike spirals into madness and sacrifices his own wife and mother. He spends the rest of the movie haunted by their vengeful ghosts.
If you want, I can give you a one-sentence summary of either film, or list the main actors involved.

hmm, well our PLIGHTS are DIFFERENT
Again, economic hardship may explain why people make certain choices, but it does not automatically make every choice wise, honorable, or worthy of encouragement.

Our values matter most when life becomes difficult, because hardship tests character, patience, and self-restraint. While we must be sensitive to the present economic conditions, our society must be careful not to normalize what harms dignity, peace of mind, or long-term well-being.

A wise person does not trade the greater good for a lesser gain.

Terrorists should do it well, they can have government contract

Electoral riggers should do it well, they can count 136 as 9000 votes

Bandits should do it well, they can always repent

A fraudster should scam people only long enough to escape poverty

A corrupt politician should embezzle strategically, then retire gracefully

A drug dealer should sell carefully and invest in a better future

A father would never let his daughter do something like that or even encourage her to do it. There is nothing like I don't judge.

What she is saying is wrong and it is more disappointing to see that there are young girls there in the studio. Anyway, Morayo and her husband de talk for the same show, let her ask her husband the same question. No sane man worth his salt will give such advice. Women and their dangerous advice. It should be condemned.

Circumstances can make someone be on the wrong path but she made no sense in saying stay there, do ashewo well but don't stay there. Shaffy, do not teach people to become comfortable with what harms them. There is nothing to understand there. You don't need to be liked to say the truth and be firm with it, you don't need to be politically correct. I am not going to preach because of the economy but economic factors have never been an excuse for us to lose our morality and dignity because we know the end as a people.

2. He who is slow in doing good, his mind delights in evil.
3. Should a person commit evil, let him not do it again and again.

franchasng:
Atiku ought to have realized by now that he cannot win because he has no influential Southern politician again like in the past to help him get votes in the whole Southern Nigeria and no Governor is backing him again like in 2023.

Yes Atiku will win the highest number of votes in Northeast and Northwest but that is where his vote will end.

If Atiku is realistic and strategic enough, he ought to shock Tinubu by collapsing his structure to back NDC under a strict written agreement.

If Atiku decides to contest as it is currently, he will only end up dividing Northern votes and that will be to Tinubu's disadvantage.

If this election goes free and fair as expected, Peter Obi will emerge winner because his voting bloc regions will not be affected by Atiku Abubakar this time.

Southeast, SouthSouth and Northcentral that are Peter Obi's voting blocs are still in tact with Atiku in the race. Peter Obi's youthful voters are in tact because they despise Atiku for being stubborn and not letting equity reign. They don't even want to hear the name Tinubu to talk of voting for him.

Now you go to the North which was Tinubu's main voting bloc in 2023, with Tinubu's tribalism and sidelining of Northerners that helped him win in 2023, Tinubu have automatically lost Northern bloc vote. Atiku will inherit majority of Buhari's Northern support. Now with Peter Obi aligning with a formidable Northern politician with a phenomenal Kwankwasiya movement, Obi will gain more votes in the North than he got in 2023 even though he won't win North but he will perform far better than he did in 2023.

So if you sincerely analyze the 2027 Presidential election with:

Tinubu in APC
Atiku in ADC
Peter Obi in NDC

You can clearly see that Peter Obi has won the election already.

The only thing that would have affected Peter Obi's voting blocs is if Goodluck Jonathan contested, and now that it is clear that Goodluck Jonathan won't be contesting, it has become more clearer than Peter Obi is the next Nigeria's President cool
Atiku's selfishness is why we are here today and I don't need him to collapse any structure. He has been played right, left and center. He destroyed his own PDP for his own selfish ambition (Obi, Atiku and Kwankwaso were originally in PDP) and joined forces with ACN to bring in Buhari. When they played him, he went back to PDP and now to ADC. He called for a coalition of opposition for his own selfish ambition once again, until it collapsed. That's why I don't see much difference between him and his friend, Tinubu. They believe money can be spent to solve the problem and get whatever they want and Nigerians are tired of the money politics. Atiku is an old man, he won't listen. They say you don't teach an old dog new tricks. Let him enjoy his ambition.

SixSeven:
Atiku should know that time does not favor him anymore just as time does not favor Jonathan who can actually come back one more time now that we have seen the best APC can offer. But make no mistakes, leave when the ovation is loudest. I can't blame him, seeing Tinubu grab it, snatch it and run away with it really motivated him, that's why he has hope and you can't take a man's hope from him, he only renewed it grin

Buhari also deceived him with the hope that you can try just one more time, when you have given up hope and you will win but he needs to read the room. No one is motivated by Atiku so his campaign will be for those deceiving him. He doesn't realize that Buhari of 8 years and Tinubu of 4 years and his association with both of them has cost him the chance to have his turn. Take away that money he has from him, he will bury that hope.
Repost👇
Atiku performance has been poor.
Atiku does not appeal to the youth and going by stats, they are the major voting bloc and will be the only ones to want to come out because whether you like it or not, Tinubu is planning on swimming through voter apathy in 2027. Many of these candidates need to retire, including Obi himself. A child born in 1999 is now 27 and would have gone through his adult life hearing about Tinubu and Atiku. A child born in 1993 when Atiku first contested is now telling his own child that Atiku is the future. How? Let me remind you again

Now that Buhari is dead, he thinks the North will vote for him and all he needs is someone who will help him get Southern votes.

In the three times he appeared on the general ballot for the presidency, Atiku Abubakar received

- 2,637,848 votes (7.47%) in 2007 to finish third,

- 11,262,978 votes (41.22%) in 2019 to finish second, and

- 6,984,520 votes (29.07%) in 2023 to finish second once again.

In the first time the candidate he contested with in 2019 (that gave Atiku his highest vote ever) went to test his popularity in 2023, tell me what was the numbers that candidate got. Obi gave him his best result in 2019 and Obidients today will not be behind Obi himself as Vice. Atiku is repeating the same mistake of the last election, it's not the time of the North. If he forces his way, the likes of Momodu and Okonkwo will happily help him spend his money on a fool's paradise.

Bob Marley once said

Money is numbers and numbers never end. If it takes money to be happy, your search for happiness will never end.

Some people spend millions of money to sleep with a woman while some other guys are sleeping with different women free of charge. You start to ask them why they are wasting money on the women just for sex but that's their money, they are searching for a high, an escape, a fulfilment. This is why those who steal never stop, the spirit will continue to make you ask for more and you will be a slave to greed and lust. Money reveals our personality and innate desires, it reveals who we truly are, that's why they say a poor man can afford to be moral because he doesn't have funds, give him a few bucks, his true nature will come out. People spend money to get high, to escape from an unnatural state, to find more fun but only when they get there, they then see the emptiness of money not being able to buy happiness. Temporary companionship, maybe, solid state happiness, never.

I am not trying to scare you but for over 30 years, before the advent of the phone internet, people have been writing about this topic, especially those who didn't cure it and got married or entered a relationship. My guy, someone wrote it above and it is true, you become a slave to your desires. It controls you. We can f##$$k everyday if we want to, we can f##&k any woman we see in front of us if we wanted to but it's that thing called self control that makes us different from other animals. He says masturbation chases women. That is true. The same way intimacy gadgets destroy women is how masturbation destroys men. You lose your appetite for team natural. He is not married so he is using inference of 'since it's married people that introduced it to me', then it means they too do it.

https://www.tiktok.com/video/7352795016089062689

Masturbation and porn addiction are going to break your marriages. You should ask women, not men. They are at the receiving end.

SixSeven:
Some see it as the lesser evil because the alternative is worse. Fornication or adultery. The masturbator is only restricting the sin to himself or herself - a private sin. Now the problem where it becomes sinful is that to arouse oneself, the person will likely imagine someone else or watch portn or other ways. However, once the body starts to produce wet dream, biology is doing its work. That means nature is at work and if God created us, he designed us in a special way. I read a piece recently on why masturbation does not fulfil a man/woman compared to actual sex. I think it's something about the way the body orgasms when it is sex or self service. The way it orgasms in self service is what makes the body behave like that. This also includes intimacy gadget use for both men and women but the truth is that the body needs sex. The problem with too much masturbation is that it kills the desire to have sex normally because you have trained your brain how to respond, this means you cannot have intimacy with your partner, they are just another intimacy gadget. A man that is used to masturbation cannot be patient enough for his partner and a woman that uses a intimacy gadget cannot be patient enough for the fragility of real skin. Man is not a machine, a woman is not a toy!

How the body satisfies its sexual desires is where religion, morality and culture intersect but if you ask these people if their kids should marry early, they will all say no yet they want them to hold body and abstain. Now I see why old generations had sense.
They married early because they understood nature. From puberty, you start to have changes to your body and they were strict about protecting family so you couldn't just sleep with anyone's wife like that and if you did and you are found out, they punish you. That's how society checks itself. If you wanted to marry, they already started preparing you from young because they know how the body works but today we want them to go to the world and finish all the education, wait for some years to fight the economy before they can 'settle down' but we know the reality of that illusion. We the woke generation na our ITK plenty. We keep deceiving ourselves while the old generation attuned themselves with reality of nature 📌

Peter Obi is not a saint but in the land of criminals, the one who pretends to be a spiritual leader will win sympathy.
SixSeven:
I watched Obi speaking to Kayode before I saw Abdullahi's interview. One thing I can tell you for free is that Obi is more measured in talking about ADC and Bolaji, Amaechi etc should learn from this. He never abuses, he was still thanking David Mark for his maturity. He knows he may still need the ADC. ADC on the other hand, from Okonkwo to Momodu keep talking down on Obi. I don't think they have learned anything from how Obi speaks about his former principals. You will never hear him abuse Atiku, even to criticize Tinubu, the interviewer had to ask him if he was afraid of calling Tinubu's name.
Now the problem I have is that our politics has sink so low that Obi is the one that looks good out of all of them. We have had low grade politicians especially since they packaged Buhari that anything Obi says look good but if you critically analyze him, you can see that we are not asking questions and we are bound to repeat the same mistakes if he wins. Nigerians get carried away by emotions and ojuelegba logic. For instance someone can say I don't trust all of them, at least, Tinubu has been there before, Atiku has been there before as VP, let me choose those ones. You know why? Nigerians have Stockholm syndrome. Any of their leaders that increase the pain for them, they somehow increase the threshold of resistance. No one is asking questions anymore and the campaign we have today is so poor that Obi is the only one talking about some of the issues. Some. He is supposed to be in debates, more question time, how do you want to fix it, do you have your cabinet ready etc but Nigerian politics today is so poor, I may not blame him for not saying everything he wants to do because once you do that, these guys will copy it or attack the person or start promoting their propaganda.

Of all the candidates, only Obi seems to have that aura of decency to inspire change. The last person that demonstrated this was Osinbajo, even though I don't support the party but he had it and everyone saw it. That so-called new Sherrif in town Lai Muhammed was touting was shown by Osinbajo in those two weeks he was in charge. Leadership is not all about bragging, power or might. Your aura matters and it is this decency that is working for Obi. He is part of the ex Governors set but his ways and conduct make him stand out and even if the other candidates copy him, if e no be panadol, e no fit be like panadol. I wish Nigeria good luck.

If you have learned anything about politics in Nigeria, it is that you may one day chew your own vomit. FFK, Reno and a few others are good examples. Also watch what you say because it will be your signature. Anytime I think about wailers, I think of that Sun guy Adesina. If I think about fight, Wike is first in my mind. If I think about snatching, I think about grab it, snatch it and run away with it. The words of statesmen are very measured. As bad as e be, Atiku does not insult anyhow, Tinubu too except when he goes campaigning against his opponents etc. But these their spokesmen in an effort to show that they are working go on insult festival without thinking about tomorrow. It's sad to see men in their 50s behave like little children. Quite disgusting. If that young man Buhari used for his media assistant was still there, Anjuri or what's his name, he would have helped Tinubu's administration but taking in the likes of Bwala, Onanuga what do you get? Anything, insult! They don't realize that it is the president they are speaking for. That means if they issue a press release on what Obasanjo said yesterday, they are talking on behalf of the President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, not Mr Tinubu as they know him. The office is more important than the occupant. They have disrespected it so much it has lost its value.

Onanuga will use our public funds to be insulting OBI when there are better things to talk about your own boss. You turn Presidency into market place. It shows you that wisdom does not grow every time with age. If a young Anjuri could respect the office and make the Presidency more dignified, then it's not about age but values. The difference was clear once the new media aides took office. They don't know when to separate politics from governance.

He said: “You mean that APC would be worried about ADC, NDC? I saw Atiku, he is now our best campaign manager because he is attacking Obi, and I see Obi attacking Amaechi.”

Did you read that well? Obi is the main threat to them. Unfortunately, Obi won't attack Amaechi. One of the things Obi had said in the last campaign was that he won't respond to unequals in the campaign, which when you look at it is what all the candidates did. He didn't bother responding to Omokri who was an aide, he said I will talk to your boss. He also does not respond to insults. Soludo tried to demarket him and he called him Professor who knows better can help him fix the problems he did not know how to fix. He call am brother grin

Tinubu tried to demarket him by saying he won't even call his name but he didn't respond to him at tall so if you are expecting Obi to be attacking Amaechi, sorry is your boyfriend's name.

Last time, it was Gbaja saying the ADC guy should scatter them. Tinubu said he will send Akpabio to opposition and now Oshiomole wants them to fight. If the opposition should take any notes from APC's playbook, it's that they don't want Nigerians to demand accountability from them. If you all focus and press APC's neck, e go choke. They've been in power for 12 years, they have 31+ governors, opposition should be their least worry but we know why a man who can't perform on bed will blame his wife and her family for being barren. Let her family be fighting among themselves when he's the actual problem, at least it takes attention away from the elephant in the room🤡

This custom political souvenir pillow depicts Mrs. Princess Onye, the National President and founder of the Nigerian non-governmental organization L.A.C (Ladies Achievers for Change Initiative).

The text at the bottom reads "No Woman No Politics," which serves as the organization's guiding motto to encourage and advocate for the active inclusion, mobilization, and economic empowerment of Nigerian women within local and national political landscapes.

The NGO operates actively within Nigerian politics, historically mobilizing support at grassroots levels and establishing high-profile networks such as collaborating closely with prominent political figures like Dame Judith Amaechi (wife of the former Minister of Transportation).
