Lagos — The Pan-Yoruba socio-political and economic organisation, Afenifere, has declared that it is not prepared to gang up against any particular part of the country as a pre-condition for aligning with any group.

The group was reacting to allegations by an Ohanaeze Ndigbo leader, Justice Ezebuilo Ozobu, that it did not consult with the Ohanaeze before meeting with leaders of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) in Kaduna, August 15, 2001, dubbing such meeting a betrayal.

Did afenifere really need to reply Ohaneze or even consult them? I think not but they(afenifere) showed good intention and diplomacy in doing so. The above sounds like cry baby something on the behalf of Ohanaeze.

Obasanjo does all these things to make Nigeria more equal and to keep Nigeria ONE. because in all honesty without PDP no southern christian will smell presidency in Nigeria- the demographic just dont fit us as well as the division in south.

Your example of using Dimeji is incorrect because unlike iwuanyanwu he(Bankole) doesnt use the excuse of yorubas undercutting eachother just for yorubas to be in the political scene. When dimeji said there is no leadership in yoruba nation -he was correct but at the same time he knows thats if there was such a bond among yorubas there would be no Nigeria  only an oduduwa nation and a yoruba agenda. Same with the north there is the NU and the ACF.

What we see alot from the iwuanyanwu like figures from the east is like desperation, what iwuanyanwu said is as if " igbos in pdp should fall in line"  just to stay in the poltical scence.
