Economically, the Putin led government has done well but a whole lot needs to be done. Oil constitutes her mainstay with Germany as one of the highest consumers of the Russian oil. So also Russia relies on the west greatly if she must survive economically. Taking on a fight with Britain isn't something to worry about but doing so with virtually the western bloc, is enough to give Putin sleepness night. If you ask me, Putin seems to have taken his luck too too far this time around. I see him exploring diplomatic channel in resolving this impasse. I can go on and on but I cant keep typing here.
