Good day house, Pls I have something bothering me cos I was given an offer from Curtin University and the session fee was 19,300 but I have a budget of 14,000 for the session fee.pls if I go on and pay the 14,000, hope it won't affect anything. Thanks
The initial deposit is usually stated in the offer letter although you can remit the entire amount if you want.

I applied in May 26th. For July intake but later Defer to Feb 2018. And submit my Updated CoE on 19th September.
Seriously these guys are lethargic. Almost 7 months and you are yet to get a verdict with reference to your visa application.
I lodged my application on the 10th of June. I have sent a reminder and am waiting for their response.

Please friends I really want to migrate out of Nigeria through students visa to go and huzle, have Australia in mind but it seems their migration protocols as regard to obtaining their visa are quite difficult to attain by we Nigerians. My question is, if one should consider New Zealand, is their visa acquiring protocols as difficult as that of Australia? Please I urgently need answers and advice from experienced fellow here.

Hope you are loaded cos their tuition is higher than of Australia. Goodluck!

Nigerians can cast places no be small..india and Nigeria were in assessment level 3 before but now india just became assessment level 2 very recently,i’m sure Nigeria must have dropped to level 4 or 5,places like china remain on assessment level 1..that means everyone from China that applies must get visa except the person has hiv, stroke and hepatitis b.i actually saw this coming since someone on here said ECU was not taking any Nigerian student as dibp said they are not genuine ,even people that had gotten Coe were refunded their money smh

My brother I partially disagree with you, I'm not here to refute your statements but Indians are equally not finding it easy. Processing times varies, sometimes it takes them around 6 months to get a response from DIBP and you know what, some of them are even being refused cos of failure to meet the GTE requirements and their IELTS scores are usually below par. I know this cos I always visit their forum to keep abreast of the situation.
From my observation, SOP is key and the applicant's first degree and masters should be in tandem.

This is not to discourage anybody God Almighty sees my sincere heart, since I totally withdraw my application from this Australian embassy I have totally been a happpy person, sincerely, I have been into it since March this year, they called twice for additional document ,they on there own as me to deferred admission and ask for a new COE. They bottom line is I No do again. My prayer is for those still hoping and believing God for Visa may you not wait in vain in Jesus name.

Amen bro. Since March, damn! It's disheartening. I'm on a precipice, it's not easy to hold on.

Hello house, after the long awaited approval on my application. It finally got refused. The visa officer didn't believe I will return upon completion of my program. I'm thinking of trying again, this time I want to apply to a school with less tuition. Has anyone applied to UNE recently. Please How long does the application take? To all those waiting.... Keep believing it shall end in praise. No one should tell me take heart lol I'm not depressed. Just help me with the information please. And if anyone know about job prospect at New England too. Thanks

Hello seyo99 since you want to reapply, I suggest that you upload your refusal letter( you can obliterate your personal details) and also state the documents submitted so that the gurus in the house can analyse and proffer a solution. The VO's verdict could stem from so many reasons contained in clause 500.212 or GTE criterion, you need to address the reason/s for refusal in your next application. May God help us.

I sent an email to DIPB to check on my visa status which I applied for since May and had to differ to Feb 2018. The reply was that it's on the final stages but a decision cannot be made before 4months of resumption which is Feb 2018.
I intend calling them next week . This waiting is just too much

You are right bro. It's not for the faint-hearted, I'm almost going bananas. What's your resumption date?

Number to call is +27124236203, when my agent checked my immiaccount, it showed finalised, but no decision as in letter to confirm if the application was successful or not, my agent has mailed back for corresponding response from them, I beg, i m already planing to contact the school for my money, can u imagine they asked for 2 additional docUments, Place of work document and another I can't remember for now, After submission you also told me to Upload a new COE, the most annoying thing is that so many opportunities have Lost and time waisted as well.

Guy calm down, don't lose hope cos it's not yet over. Wait for the letter before contacting the school for a refund. Our efforts will not be in vain.

What is the maximum length of time one can wait before giving up on this visa thing for Australia. Mine is approaching 3months since I went for my biometric assessment and because of the delay I am so pissed off with my agent we even quarreled because i told him to stop lying to me about waiting and waiting, because I feel since he applied from over there it's should be faster am really confused on my next plan of action because all my hope was that by now I should be working over there and recovering the huge money I invested gradually now I don't even know which business to start sef in Nigeria to move on with my life.

You are not alone. It's quite disheartening and enervating. Mine is exactly 4 months. Don't give up, just be positive and get busy. It will surely come to fruition. Hopefully in Nov/Dec.
Did you get a revised coe?
