RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, 19TH APRIL 2025 THEME: HIS LIFE AND LIGHT IN YOU THEME SCRIPTURE: In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not (John 1:4-5). Do you truly know what it means to have Christ in you? This is one of the most profound truths in the Word of God, and when you grasp its significance, it will revolutionize your entire outlook on life. Let me share with you both the spiritual and scientific implications of this extraordinary reality. The reality of Christ in you is a profound truth that science struggles to define. Scientists cannot locate the essence of life within the human body. They can pinpoint the heart, the brain, and other organs, but the life-force itself remains elusive. Life—the very thing that animates every living being—is undetectable. Now consider this: the life that scientists can’t find, the essence they can’t locate, the phenomenon they’re unable to explain, became flesh: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” (John 1:14). Jesus Christ is eternal life encapsulated in human flesh; this is the greatest miracle to ever occur. Who is Christ? He is the divine essence, eternal life personified; the embodiment of life itself. He said, “...I am the way, the truth, and the life...” (John 14:6). When you have Christ, you have life, the very essence that sustains all creation. Now let’s talk about light. Light is another phenomenon that challenges human understanding. It is difficult to describe light without referencing a greater light. In the presence of a stronger light, a lesser light fades into paltriness. For example, a candle light in the bright noon sun has no visible effect. This brings us to what Saul of Tarsus experienced on the road to Damascus. He recounted that a light from heaven, brighter than the midday sun, shone around him (Acts 9:3). This was no ordinary light; it was the true light—Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “...I am the light of the world...” (John 8:12). This is the light that lights every man who comes into the world (John 1:9). When He declared Himself as the light of the world, He wasn’t referring to a physical light but to a spiritual illumination that transcends all understanding. He is the source of all light, the essence that gives meaning and purpose to life. To have Christ in you, therefore, means that the very life and light of God dwell in you. It means you carry within you the hope of glory, the power that sustains the universe, and the wisdom that confounds the world. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the supernatural life you have given me in Christ. I am grateful for your life and light in my spirit. I stand firm in the truth of who I am in Christ; I walk in the consciousness of this truth, illuminating my world and bringing glory to you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 5:11-12 NIV - And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. 2 Corinthians 4:6 NKJV - For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 17:20-18:1-14 & 1 Samuel 8-10 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Mark 3:20-35 & Leviticus 19 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, APRIL 18TH 2025 THEME: A LIFE THAT WORKS THEME SCRIPTURE: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10) There are truths in God’s Word that are so profound they shake the very foundations of conventional thinking. Yet, sometimes, these truths are not immediately embraced even by many within the Body of Christ. This is simply because the understanding and readiness to receive them are often hindered by traditions, limited knowledge, or fear of change. For example, many years ago, I preached a message on “Eternal Life” and boldly declared from the Scriptures that the Christian is not supposed to get sick. It was a revelation so profound, yet so unconventional at the time. My ministerial colleagues tried to dissuade me from teaching the subject, presenting their reasoning and arguments. They thought it was a mistake for me to believe or teach such a thing. I remember having to hide the tape of that message because of the backlash. But the more I meditated on the Word of God, the more convinced I was of the message. Even though I faced my own health challenges at the time, I chose to believe the Word over my experiences. I revisited that message two years later, and it became clear: I was right. The Word was right. But I knew I had to go deeper. I needed to understand why my body was not yet reflecting this truth. So, I made a decision to focus on aligning my body and my experiences with the Word of God. It wasn’t an instant process. It took time, diligence, and unwavering faith. But I stayed with the Word. I meditated on it, spoke it, and applied it to my life daily. And then, one day, something extraordinary happened. I knew beyond any shadow of a doubt that every fibre of my being, every bone of my body, and every cell of my blood was infused with the life of God. This revelation changed my life forever. Decades have come and gone, and I’ve never been sick again. Why? Because I discovered that I have eternal life. Eternal life is tangible and real, and it works in every part of your being. It’s a life that cannot be dominated by sickness, weakness, or failure. It is the very essence of God working in your spirit, soul and body. Believe this truth. Hallelujah! CONFESSION I have the life of God in me! This life is working in every fibre of my being, every cell of my blood, and every bone of my body. I live in divine health, strength and vitality because eternal life is at work in me. I refuse to be sick or weak. I am victorious, triumphant, and full of glory! Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY: John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 1 John 5:11-12 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Romans 8:10-11 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 17:1-19 & 1 Samuel 3-7 2 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Mark 3:8-19 & Leviticus 18 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY, 17TH APRIL 2025 THEME: SERVE GOD RIGHTLY THEME SCRIPTURE: For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men (Romans 14:18). The Word of God shows us clearly what the message of Christ is and what your focus should be in serving the Lord. At the end of all things, what truly matters is what He thinks about your service in the Kingdom, not what others might think or say about you. His opinion is what truly counts. Is He pleased with your work? It’s important to know that everything you’re doing is according to His will, purpose and desire. It’s not enough that you’re doing what you think or assume is right; it has to be what He wants and how He wants it. Recall what He said to Moses when he was about to build the Tabernacle, “…See…that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount” (Hebrews 8:5). Follow the prescribed order as revealed in His Word. If you’re sincere, He’ll open your heart, mind and understanding to the Scriptures and show you how to serve Him and serve Him correctly. This is very important because even in the Scriptures, you’d observe certain individuals who walked closely with God but sometimes missed the mark. For instance, the apostles initially thought the Gospel was only for the Jews and overlooked the salvation of the Gentiles (Acts 10-11). How could they have made such a significant mistake? But their correction came through the very Scriptures they thought they understood. This should be a profound lesson for us. If the apostles could be wrong despite their knowledge, then we have to seek deeper understanding to ensure we align with God’s will. And thanks be unto God; He said, “... every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened” (Matthew 7: . If you seek to serve Him rightly, He’ll show you from His Word how to do it the most excellent way.Don’t serve Him as you choose; serve Him as He desires. The purpose of your service and the manner of your work and walk with Him should align with His will. Seek His thoughts, understand His desires, and walk in the light of His Word. The apostle Paul, in Romans 1:9, said, "For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son...." That’s the way; it’s service in the Spirit, by the Spirit and through the Spirit. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for opening my heart and mind to your will. I serve you with my spirit, in the gospel of Jesus Christ, to live in intimate communion with you every day. My life, resources, thoughts, words and actions are a continual offering of worship, reflecting your glory and purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Romans 1:9 AMPC For God is my witness, Whom I serve with my [whole] spirit [rendering priestly and spiritual service] in [preaching] the Gospel and [telling] the good news of His Son, how incessantly I always mention you when at my prayers. Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 16; 1 Samuel 1-2 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Mark 3:1-7; Leviticus 17 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16TH 2025 THEME: EQUIPPING THE SAINTS THEME SCRIPTURE: And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12) The apostle Paul, in Ephesians 4, talks about the five-fold ministry gifts which are for the perfecting of the saints. What does it mean by “the perfecting of the saints?” It’s interesting to note that this does not imply making the saints better or more perfect. Saints are already perfect. It refers to equipping and bringing up the saints. Consider this example: do children become more human as they grow? No! Every child is born perfectly human, just as their parents are. Children need to grow and be brought up, and this involves equipping them with knowledge and the requisite nourishment. Until they grow and are equipped with the right information, intelligence, and strength, they cannot fully engage in the activities that adult humans do, despite being already hundred per cent human. In the same way, the perfecting of the saints involves helping them grow and be equipped for their purpose in the Body of Christ. There is a tendency for some Christians to resort to the ordinary way of life instead of living the transcendent life in Christ. Therefore, they need to be taught and reminded of who they are in Christ, and how they must live. This is the essence of the five-fold offices. This is why for ministers of the Gospel, our work in the Gospel must be well understood. We’re first and foremost called to be saints; saints of God, members of the Body of Christ. But then God created a structure for His Church and appointed some into special ministry offices to assist in equipping the saints in carrying out the work of the ministry. PRAYER Dear Father, I pray that Christians everywhere will fully understand and fulfil their roles and responsibilities within the Body of Christ, being strengthened in the faith and encouraged by the Spirit and the Word to stand firm in their convictions of Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 4:11-16 AMPC And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers. 12 His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ’s body (the church), 13 [That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [[a]full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ’s own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him. 14 So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of [b]unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead. 15 Rather, let our lives lovingly [c]express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). 16 For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love. Colossians 1:28-29 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: 29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily. 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 15:11-32 & Ruth 1-4 2 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Mark 2:23-28 & Leviticus 16 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, 15TH MARCH 2025 THEME: SPEAKING MYSTERIES IN THE SPIRIT THEME SCRIPTURE: For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries (1 Corinthians 14:2). Did you know that when you speak in tongues, you speak mysteries? These mysteries could be about your health, job, family, or even future decisions. However, these mysteries are not understood by the human mind. This is why the gift of interpretation of tongues is necessary. With the gift of interpretation, you can understand these mysteries and know exactly what you're saying. Regrettably, many Christians haven’t fully grasped the power or essence of speaking in tongues and as a result, they see no need for interpretation of these mysteries. If you want to know something about your health, for instance, you can speak in tongues. When you do, you're speaking mysteries, and when you interpret those tongues, you will understand what the Spirit is revealing to you. We're not supposed to be in the dark about anything in life. We speak mysteries, and the Holy Spirit helps us to interpret them. 1 Corinthians 2:6-11 says, “Howbeit we speak…the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory…For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” Why is this significant? It’s because when you speak in tongues with interpretation, it equals prophecy. So, we're either bringing forth the wisdom of God in mysteries through prophetic revelation, or it's coming to us in tongues that we can interpret. Is it about your school, an imminent trip, or about your children? Is it about your finances, your work, your business, or are you planning to move to a new home and want to know the will of God? Pray in tongues and you will speak forth the mysteries. You can know the will of God concerning various aspects of life by speaking in tongues. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the blessing of speaking in tongues and uttering mysteries with the Holy Spirit granting me understanding of your divine will for my life. I receive supernatural wisdom for every situation and circumstance, and I declare that the power of the Spirit is at work in me, bringing about health, strength and prosperity, in Jesus' Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 14:13-15 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret. 14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. 1 Corinthians 2:6-11 NKJV - Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 14:25-15:1-10 & Judges 19-21 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Mark 2:13-22 & Leviticus 15 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY, 14TH APRIL 2025 THEME: BE CONSCIOUS OF HIS ABUNDANT GRACE THEME SCRIPTURE: For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17). The grace of Jesus Christ is a divine resource that every Christian must consciously take advantage of. The apostle Paul, writing to Timothy, instructed him to “...be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:1). In other words, take advantage of His grace. How do you take advantage of His grace? It starts with you being conscious of His grace at work in you. As you step out of your home to work or to your other engagements, be fully aware that the grace of God is at work in you. This grace brings divine favour that works in your behalf, positions you for opportunities and ensures you stand out. However, there’s a key principle to remember: to continually experience favour working in your life, you must also show favour to others. Grace is not a one-sided experience. A person who has received grace becomes a distributor of grace. A man or woman of favour distributes favour. In doing so, favour continually flows back to them. The psalmist writes, “Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about” (Psalm 32:10). The word mercy here is from the Hebrew word “chesed,” which means covenant kindness. This covenant kindness is a special kind of kindness; it means God's divine favour that He cannot turn away from; as a result, He cannot but bless you. Knowing this, therefore, what should your response be? Psalm 32:11 gives the answer: “Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.” Hallelujah! Every so often, rejoice and shout for joy as your expressions of faith and gratitude for God’s abundant grace at work in your life. Rejoice in the Lord every day. Get into your closet and have your moment of joyful celebration before the Lord. Shout for joy and declare, “I am favoured of God! I walk in divine grace! His covenant kindness surrounds me!” Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for your grace at work in me, which has positioned me for favours everywhere, opening doors of opportunity, and causing me to excel in all I do. I extend the same grace to others, walking in love, as I rejoice in your covenant kindness. Your mercy and favour surround me every day, in Jesus' Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY 2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC And God is able to make all grace (every favor and [a]earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Titus 2:11-12 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; John 1:16 AMPC [So] if we say we are partakers together and enjoy fellowship with Him when we live and move and are walking about in darkness, we are [both] speaking falsely and do not live and practice the Truth [which the Gospel presents]. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 14:1-24; Judges 17-18 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Mark 2:1-12; Leviticus 14 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, 13TH APRIL 2025 THEME: TRUST IN HIS GUIDANCE THEME SCRIPTURE: Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go (Isaiah 48:17). One of my most frequent declarations, even when I’m not consciously thinking about it is what David said in Psalm 23:3, “...he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” I have learned to rely on the Lord's guidance, and to trust that wherever I am is exactly where I should be. Consider what we read in our opening scripture; what an assurance! God is committed to your success, and He ensures you win all the time by giving you the guidance you need. Another scripture to ponder is Psalm 32:8; here, God says, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” That’s His Word! Then He adds, “…he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about" (Psalm 32:10). Be confident in this truth. Perhaps you’re in a situation where you need direction or the mercy of God; know that it isn’t far away from you. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” As you go out today, remember that His grace and mercy are with you, propelling you in the path that you should go. Trust in His unfailing love and mercy. Trust in His Word and acknowledge His presence in your life. Declare that you walk in the paths of righteousness, led by the Holy Spirit, and that His grace empowers you to live victoriously. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for your unfailing love and mercy. I trust in your Word and acknowledge your presence in my life. I declare that I walk in paths of righteousness, led by your Spirit, and I am always in the right place at the right time. Your grace empowers me to live victoriously every day. Thank you for teaching me to profit and for leading me in the way I should go, in Jesus' Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, APRIL 12TH 2025 THEME: SPIRIT-GUIDED PRAYER THEME SCRIPTURE: For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful (1 Corinthians 14:14) So much happens in the realm of the Spirit when we pray in tongues. So don’t take praying in tongues lightly. Be like Paul who was bold to say he prayed in tongues more than the entire Christians in the Corinthian church: “I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all” (1 Corinthians 14:18). When we pray in the Spirit, we’re often led to address specific situations, people, or circumstances that we may not be consciously aware of. The Spirit guides our prayers, aligning them with God's will and purpose. Additionally, praying in tongues empowers us to enforce the Father’s will on earth. That’s what He wants; the Lord Jesus prayed in Matthew 6:10, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” As we intercede in the Spirit, we become conduits of God's power, allowing His purpose to be fulfilled in our lives and that of others. Furthermore, through praying in tongues, we keep the enemy at bay and frustrate his plans. Once, we were in a meeting that began on a particular Friday night and extended into the early hours of Saturday morning. As we were rounding off the meeting, I took the microphone for the closing prayer. But something unusual happened; I couldn’t stop speaking in tongues. Though I wanted to stop, the Holy Spirit led me to continue. I kept on praying in tongues fervently and the brethren, recognizing this move of the Spirit, joined in, and together we prayed until I received a note of victory in my spirit. With joy and laughter in the spirit, I announced to the congregation, “In a day or two, it’ll be clear what we prayed about in other tongues.” The revelation of what had transpired came to the fore two days later. A certain man had planned to bomb one of our TV stations, located on the eighth floor of a certain building. As he approached the floor, the bomb detonated in his hands before he could execute his nefarious plan. The explosion severed his hands, and he was rushed to the hospital where he confessed that his intention was to blow up the station. This miraculous intervention occurred because we prayed in tongues. The Spirit of God moved through our prayers, dismantling the enemy’s plans. This is one of the reasons you should fervently and excitedly pray in other tongues always; it helps forfend danger amongst its other transcendent benefits. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the blessing and privilege of praying in tongues and communing with you through the Spirit. I am empowered by your Word and the Spirit to stand in the gap, enforce your will, and bring your plans to fruition on earth. I pray with boldness and faith, knowing that my prayers avail much, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Romans 8:26-27 NKJV Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession [a]for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 11TH APRIL 2025 THEME: STAY IN GRATITUDE THEME SCRIPTURE: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5:18). This verse, given by the Spirit through the apostle Paul, is one of the simplest, yet most profound instructions in the Word of God. He says, "In everything give thanks." This means, no matter what happens, stay in gratitude; maintain a grateful heart. Thanksgiving is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus. If you've ever said, "Lord, I want to do your will," here’s a straightforward way to do just that: give thanks in everything. It sounds simple, but how well have you practised it? Thanksgiving is how you position yourself to see the manifestation of God’s power at work in your behalf. Depression, frustration and confusion have no place in the life of one who consistently gives thanks. When you understand the principle of thanksgiving, you'll never allow circumstances to dictate your joy. Nothing can frustrate you when you’re always full of gratitude to the Lord. If you lose money, give thanks. If you lose your job, give thanks. If your car is stolen, give thanks. Before taking any step, give thanks. Why? Because this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus! Even if a contract you were awarded suddenly got revoked, give thanks because your source is not the contract or any human system. Your source is the Lord. When one door closes, it only means a bigger one is about to open. Thanksgiving keeps your focus on God's sovereignty and provision, not on the challenges before you. So even if your business partners or associates tell you they can no longer fulfil their part of an agreement, respond with gratitude, knowing God has something greater in store for you. Everyone who blesses you is in turn blessed by God. This means that when someone gives to you or does good for you, they position themselves for a blessing from God. Therefore, remain in thanksgiving and trust God to keep you in a state of perpetual abundance. No matter what you face, stay in gratitude, knowing that God's will for you is perfect and leads to glorious outcomes. Ephesians 5:20 says, “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, in every circumstance, I choose to give thanks, knowing that your plans for me are always for good. I refuse to allow frustration, confusion, or depression to have any place in my life. My heart is continually filled with gratitude, and I walk in the manifestation of your blessings every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. The original Hebrew word for "obedient" in the verse above is “shama,” which appears, specifically, 1,159 times in the Authorized Version. Notably, it is translated as "obedient" only eight times for contextual relevance. In fact, it is translated as "hear" 785 times and as "hearken" 169 times. The reason I emphasize this is that even in this instance, where the translators believed "obedient" would be the best presentation, it's not entirely accurate but still conveys a nice meaning. The phrase "if ye be willing and obedient" essentially means “if you truly hear me.” This is why they chose "obedient"—it reflects the dynamics of asking a child, “Did you hear me?” This often occurs when an instruction hasn’t been followed. So, when you say, “If you hear what I’m telling you…,” it implies “If you heed what I’m telling you,” which translates to “If you obey what I’m telling you.” The presentation of this verse in the Living Bible is quite remarkable; it says, “If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey, then I will make you rich.” What a statement! Can God truly do this, even in difficult situations? Can He do it in the slums, the impoverished neighbourhoods, or backsides of civilization? Can He do it for someone from your kind of family? Emphatically yes! He says, “If you will only let me help you”; it’s as if He’s asking, “I want to help you; would you allow me to do so?” He emphasizes that if you hear Him, He will make you rich. This shows that God is not against you being rich. But what does it mean to be rich? It signifies having super abundance—having so much more than you require that you can help others become rich as well. If you’re wealthy but can’t help others achieve wealth, then you’re not genuinely rich. So, accept His invitation to help you; hear and receive His Word. Follow the principles that He has laid out, and His blessings will be manifested in your life. Hallelujah! CONFESSION I hear and heed the Word of God; therefore, His blessings are manifested in my life. I walk in superabundance, helping many to experience the prosperity of our glorious Kingdom. I’m a reflection of God’s goodness, a conveyor and a distributor of His eternal blessings. Blessed be God! FURTHER STUDY Deuteronomy 28:1-2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY, 9TH APRIL 2025 THEME: DEALING WISELY—A CRITICAL ASPECT OF SUCCESS THEME SCRIPTURE: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8 ). The Bible emphasizes the importance of dealing wisely, a principle that can change the trajectory of anyone’s life. This is something extraordinary that meditating on the Word does for you. The Amplified Classic version of our theme verse highlights this truth; it says through meditation, “...you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success” (Joshua 1:8 AMPC). This is a critical aspect of success. The Bible recounts how David, while living in the house of Saul, behaved himself wisely: “David acted wisely in all his ways and succeeded, and the Lord was with him” (1 Samuel 18:14 AMPC). Despite Saul’s hostility and attempts to harm him, David behaved wisely and that set him apart and paved the way for his eventual rise to kingship. Some people don't know how to behave wisely because they’re bereft of God’s Word. Now you can understand why the Bible says to allow the Word of God dwell in you richly in all wisdom (Colossians 3:16). Then in 2 Timothy 3:15, it says the Scriptures are able to make you wise. You can choose to act wisely through consistent meditation on the Word. You might find yourself in a place where others don’t appreciate you, yet you’re able to conduct yourself wisely and achieve success. The Word of God can make that happen for you. You can make your way ever prosperous, deal wisely, and have good success through the Word. Once you grasp this truth, the complaints and limitations of others won’t matter to you. They are not factors to consider in your journey. The only constant is God, and the other factor is you. Take your times of meditation seriously. As you meditate on the Word, you’ll deal wisely and be successful in all your affairs. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the wisdom and understanding your Word imparts to me. I act wisely in every situation, guided by your Word and the Spirit. I refuse to be deterred by hostility or challenges, for I know my success is certain. I make my way prosperous, deal and behave wisely, and I walk in good success continually, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Psalm 23:1-6 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. 1 Samuel 18:12-14 NIV Saul was afraid of David, because the Lord was with David but had departed from Saul. 13 So he sent David away from him and gave him command over a thousand men, and David led the troops in their campaigns. 14 In everything he did he had great success, because the Lord was with him. Joshua 1:8 AMPC This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, 8TH APRIL 2025 THEME: THE WATCHMAN’S MANDATE THEME SCRIPTURE: I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth (Isaiah 62:6-7). Notice something profound the Lord did for Israel as read in our opening scripture: He appointed watchmen over Jerusalem. These were intercessors, praying tirelessly for the fulfilment of God’s will. Their role was to persist in prayer until Jerusalem became a praise in the earth. This is a striking picture of the spiritual responsibility we bear today as God’s people; we’re His king-priests. We’re watchmen—entrusted with the divine mandate to watch and pray. The Lord Jesus Himself emphasized this when He was with His disciples before His arrest. He took Peter, James and John and shared His heart with them, saying, “...My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me” (Matthew 26:38). He needed them to join Him in watching and praying, but they fell asleep. When Jesus returned and found them sleeping, He said, “...could ye not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation...” (Matthew 26:40-41). He expected them to be vigilant in prayer during such a crucial time, yet they were unavailable. This teaches us an important lesson: as watchmen, we must remain spiritually alert and persistent in prayer. Isaiah 62:7 instructs us to “...give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Ezekiel 3:17 also highlights our responsibility as watchmen: “Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.” This is our office—we’re called to stand in the gap and intercede for the fulfilment of God’s purposes on earth. Hallelujah! So never be casual with your times of prayer. The Bible says to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working (James 5:16). PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of being a watchman. I declare that my spiritual eyes are open, and I am vigilant in prayer, interceding for your will to be done here on earth. I’m strengthened to fulfil this responsibility faithfully, by the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY 1 Thessalonians 5:17 AMPC Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly]; 1 Timothy 2:1-4 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. James 5:16-18 AMPC Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. 17 Elijah was a human being with a nature such as we have [with feelings, affections, and a constitution like ours]; and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months. 18 And [then] he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops [as usual]. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 11:37-54; Judges 5-6 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 28:1-10; Leviticus 8 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY, 7TH APRIL 2025 THEME: THE BLESSING IS IN DOING THE WORD THEME SCRIPTURE: But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves (James 1:22). The manifestation of God's blessing is in doing His Word. The Word tells you who you are, what belongs to you, and how to live. Doing the Word means aligning your actions with its revelations about your identity, inheritance, and your place in Christ. It requires consistency and commitment, but the results are undeniable. James 1:23-25 says, “For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” As a young Christian, one of the most important commitments I made was to ensure there was no conflict between my life and what the Scripture says. I wanted consistency; I wanted the Word of God manifested in my life. I desired to live in such a way that my life reflected what the Word says, and I could read my life from the Scriptures without contradiction. To achieve this, I resolved to be a doer of the Word. To be a doer of the Word means to put the Word into practice, to act on what it says, and to live according to its truth. It is not just about “obeying” God’s instructions; in Christianity, we don’t merely obey the Word—we do the Word. The Word is our life; it defines who we are, what we have, and where we are. As such, we act it out, becoming everything the Word says we are. As read in the preceding verses of scripture, the one who fails to do the Word is like someone who looks at himself in a mirror but forgets his appearance the moment he turns away. To be a doer of the Word, you must continually remember what the Word says about you and act accordingly. So, commit to being a doer of the Word and it’ll produce in and for you what it talks about. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the transforming power of your Word. I’m a doer of your Word, and its blessings are manifested in my life. Thank you for the grace and wisdom to continually walk in the light of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 7:24-27 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, 6TH APRIL 2025 THEME: AN UNCONDITIONAL INSTRUCTION THEME SCRIPTURE: Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee (Exodus 20:12). The Word of God provides clear instructions about the relationship between children and their parents. The apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:1-3 (AMPC) highlights the importance of children obeying and honouring their parents: “CHILDREN, OBEY your parents in the Lord [as His representatives], for this is just and right. Honour (esteem and value as precious) your father and your mother--this is the first commandment with a promise-- That all may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth.” When you dishonour your parents, it affects your life negatively. Success may come, but it can be fleeting, with cycles of ups and downs, losses, and instability. It’s one of the reasons some people experience unexplainable instability, setbacks, and even premature death. So, do what the Word says; honour your parents or those who may be standing in that role over you. When you do, the result is clear: “It shall be well with you in life.” Honouring your parents isn’t just about your actions, but also about your attitude. The way you speak to them matters. You must treat them with utmost regard and respect. Furthermore, observe that God didn’t add any condition to you honouring your parents. He didn’t say, “Honour your father and mother if they treat you well”; no! Their status as your parents is enough qualification for them to be honoured. It makes no difference what issues or challenges they may have; they’re your parents, and you’re obligated to honour them. If your mother or father is unwell or living in poor conditions, do something about it; show care. Others may disregard them, but they’re your parents, not theirs. You might say, “My parents were very mean to me and didn’t give me the right love and care as a child; therefore, I don’t feel I should honour them.” Well, they’re still your parents, and you have a duty to respect and honour them regardless. You have to do what the Word says. No matter how much you speak in tongues or demonstrate spiritual fervour, it can’t replace this biblical principle. God’s Word is consistent, and honouring your parents is a divine instruction that brings blessings and ensures your journey in life is pleasant—upward and forward. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for teaching me the importance of honouring my parents and those you’ve placed to watch over me in the Lord. I show them the respect and regard they deserve; thus, my path in life is one of success and victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Exodus 20:12 AMPC Regard (treat with honor, due obedience, and courtesy) your father and mother, that your days may be long in the land the Lord your God gives you. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, 5TH APRIL THEME: THE INFLUENCE OF GODLY HERITAGE THEME SCRIPTURE: And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children (Isaiah 54:13). There’s a huge difference between those who honour the Lord and those who don’t, and this difference extends to their children. Let’s examine this from the Scriptures. Isaiah 49:25 says, “But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.” What a commitment from God! He promises to fight for those who honour Him, contending with those who trouble them and saving their children. This promise is reinforced in Isaiah 54:13. It says, “And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.” This is God’s assurance: children of those who honour Him are taught by the Lord, and they experience great peace. What about those who don’t know God? Psalm 58:3 reveals their plight: “The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.” The wicked are separated from God even before birth. From the womb, their lives are misdirected, growing up in deceit because they lack the truth of God’s Word. If you’re reading this and you’re not born again, more so if you’re an offspring of unsaved parents, the Bible explains why your life might seem directionless, and spiritual things appear incomprehensible to you. You were estranged from God from birth, programmed to follow a path away from Him. This isn’t something you can change by your efforts alone. You need the mercy and grace of God. Ask the Lord to come into your heart and give you a new life. You can do this right now by turning to the “Prayer Of Salvation” page; say that prayer, and mean the words from your heart, and you’d receive the life and nature of God. For parents who are already in Christ, their children are spiritually impacted even from the womb. A child conceived by Spirit-filled parents carries the blessing of God’s Spirit before birth. This is the stark difference between those born to parents in Christ and those who aren’t. PRAYER Dear heavenly Father, I pray for those who are yet to know you, or are estranged from you, that they receive your mercy and grace and come into the light of your glorious salvation, and walk in the truth. Thank you for the blessing of your Spirit, and the new life you give to all who call upon you for salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, APRIL 4TH 2025 THEME: THERE’S PROFIT IN ALL LABOUR THEME SCRIPTURE: In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury (Proverbs 14:23) The opening verse draws a stark contrast between working hard, being diligent, and idle talk or laziness. The “idle talker” or lazy person tends to poverty. The term penury is synonymous with poverty, lack, want, or being broke. Proverbs 14:23 (CEV) says, “Hard work is worthwhile, but empty talk will make you poor.” People who work hard receive something for their efforts; their labour produces results. But there are those who engage in endless chatter; they criticize everything. They know what the government, the governor, the mayor, and even the president ought to be doing. They have opinions on every subject, but do nothing themselves. The Bible is clear about such individuals: their mere talk, without the right actions, will lead to lack and poverty. Idle talkers may sound knowledgeable and convincing, but their words have no value. No wonder the Word emphasizes the importance of diligence and warns against idleness. Proverbs 10:4-5 says, “He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.” Proverbs 12:24 further contradistinguishes between the diligent and the sluggard; it says, “The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.” God's plan for you, however, is far beyond simply working hard to avoid poverty; rather, it is for you to prosper in every area of your life. He expresses this clearly in 3 John 1:2. It says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” This is God’s desire for you—to experience true prosperity in every dimension of your life: spiritually, materially, and physically. Therefore, choose to be productive. Engage diligently in your work or business and in what God has called you to do. Align yourself with God’s vision of prosperity, applying wisdom and diligence in your pursuits. And because God delights in your prosperity, He’ll bless your work and cause you to walk in abundance and unending supply. Praise God! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the wisdom of your Word that guides me in the path of productivity and prosperity. As a diligent and productive steward, my works are blessed and I’m prospering in every area of my life, even as my soul prospers. I enjoy unending prosperity and abundance, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 10:4-5 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. 5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. 1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 1 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 10:1-24 & Joshua 20-22 2 YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 27:26-37 & Leviticus 4 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY, APRIL 3RD 2025 THEME: HIS ULTIMATE PURPOSE THEME SCRIPTURE: And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one (John 17:22). When God made man, He wasn’t satisfied with man just looking like Him or functioning like Him. That was only the beginning. His ultimate goal was oneness with man. He created us to live in us and be inseparably one with us. The Lord Jesus said, “I am in the Father, and the Father is in me” (John 14:11). God has done the same with us and for us. This was His dream from the beginning. Colossians 1:26-27 says, “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” 1 Corinthians 6:17 says, “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” This is more than a mere resemblance with the Lord. It’s like When Jesus said, “...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father...” (John 14:9), it was much more than just resemblance or functionality; it was a revelation of oneness. God wasn’t just seeking a house to dwell in; His ultimate purpose is to reveal His glory through you to the nations. When the Bible speaks of nations, it doesn’t only refer to countries; rather, it signifies people who are connected by shared interests or characteristics. The Greek word is “ethnos”—a group of people with common interests or ideologies. Recognize yourself as inseparably one with God, sent by Him to reveal His glory to your world. Wherever you are right now, reveal His glory in that place. This is your calling. You’re a God-carrier, the effulgence of His glory. And because His glory is in you, you can manifest it and impact your world with it. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for making me a carrier of your glory to the nations. I function in my calling with wisdom, excellence and grace, influencing and transforming my world for your glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Isaiah 60:1-3 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. 2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 1 Peter 2:9 AMPC But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own [a]purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 9:37-62; Joshua 16-19 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 27:11-25; Leviticus 3 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2ND THEME: GET A HOLD OF THE WORD THEME SCRIPTURE: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made (John 1:1-3).8 Everything that God does is through the agency of His Word. This is a very fundamental and essential truth to always be conscious of. God’s Word is His creative material. From Genesis 1, we learn that God created everything through His Word. The Bible says, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). Then, verse 3 says, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” His Word brought order and life to what was a chaotic mass. Then, in John 1:1-3, the Bible declares, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” Everything was made by the Word, and without the Word, nothing exists. This understanding reveals the limitless power of God’s Word. When you get a hold of the Word, you can do anything. Someone might ask, “If this is true, why are there so many in the world who are suffering? Why are so many in pain?” God’s response to the suffering and pain in the world is Jesus; and who is Jesus? He is the Word. We read that earlier in John 1:1-3. Psalm 107:20 says, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” The Word heals, saves, and delivers. It brings hope, healing, restoration and answers to life’s toughest questions. If you’ve been sick and given up on by the doctors to die, what you need is to get a hold of the Word in your spirit. In Christ, you have an incorruptible, indestructible, imperishable life that destroys sickness, disease and infirmities. Get a hold of this reality and create your victory. Everything you need is in the Word of God. Therefore, keep affirming the Word. PRAYER Dear Father, I thank you for the power of your Word, which is creative and transformative. As I meditate on, and declare your Word, I create a life of victory, health, and success. Your Word is at work in me, producing results that glorify you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 9:18-36 & Joshua 13-15 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 27:1-10 & Leviticus 2 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, APRIL 1ST, 2025. THEME: DIVINE LANGUAGE WITH HOLY GHOST ACCENT THEME SCRIPTURE: I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all (1 Corinthians 14:18). When we speak in tongues, we speak a unique and divine language that transcends nationalities, ethnicities and regional accents. You most likely can’t determine someone's land of nativity, country or cultural background by hearing them pray in tongues. Whether an individual is Indian, American, British, Chinese, or Nigerian, their prayers sound unified and distinct because when we speak in tongues, it’s a divine language with Holy Ghost accent. I once conducted a study on individuals praying in tongues from different parts of the world, and the results were phenomenal. I had participants record their prayers without any visual context—no pictures, no videos. As I listened to the audio recordings, I noticed something remarkable: it was impossible to determine where each individual was from or to identify their specific accent or nationalities. This is because praying in tongues is a spiritual language not tied to earthly regions or dialects; it’s heavenly. Furthermore, I considered groups from various locations, separated by vast distances, all praying in tongues. Despite their geographic separation, they all sounded as though they originated from the same place. And indeed, they truly are from the same spiritual place—Christ. Think about people in distant locations, speaking the same spiritual language. It helps to understand what the Bible says, “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:13). How could we all have this spiritual language, except for the fact that it's by the same Holy Spirit? This is undeniable spiritual evidence of the reality and power of His ministry in and through us. Hallelujah! So, speak in tongues more than ever before, and you’ll see your life move from one level of glory to another. Speak in tongues every day and everywhere. Take this seriously like the apostle Paul who said, “I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all” (1 Corinthians 14:18). He spoke in tongues more than all of them in the entire church in Corinth combined. This shows how integral speaking in tongues was to his life and ministry. Paul understood that it was a divine language unique only to us. PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the gift of the Spirit and the blessing of speaking in tongues. I am edified, energized, strengthened and aligned with your perfect will for my life, and I’m led in the path of unending victory and success as I speak in tongues, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Jude 1:20; But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:2-4; And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 1 Corinthians 14:2; For he that speaketh in an [unknown] tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth [him]; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 9:1-17 & Joshua 10-12 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Leviticus Matthew 26:69-75 & Leviticus 1 |

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL MONDAY, MARCH 31ST 2025 THEME: YOUR WORDS CARRY LIFE THEME SCRIPTURE: And God said, Let there be light: and there was light (Genesis 1:3). Every time you speak, life emits from your words. Your words carry life. It’s the reason you must never talk to promote the problems and difficulties you’re facing; declare your victories. Have the right words in your mouth. Don’t speak on the basis of your situation; rather, speak in agreement with God (Hebrews 13:5-6). Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that you shall have what you say. It was God Himself who gave us that precedence; He spoke creation into being in Genesis chapter 1. It reveals that not only do words contain energy, they carry life. Now you can understand what Jesus said in John 6:63, “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Remember that as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17); so like Him, the words that you speak, they are spirit and they are life. Hallelujah! Everything in life has been programmed by God to respond to words, for they were all created by words. In Numbers 20:8, for example, God instructed Moses to speak to the rock: “…speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.” God told Moses to talk to the rock because the rock had life, with intelligence and memory. If creation came about by reason of words spoken by God, it means that there are sound codes embedded in every particle, matter or object; therefore, they can all respond to the sound codes we release through our words. So use the right sound codes—the right words—to create the life that you desire. Transform your life from glory to glory with words. Hallelujah! CONFESSION My life is for the glory of God. Divine wisdom is heard in my words and seen in my actions. The Word of God prevails in my life and catapults me to greater levels of success, victory and prosperity. I walk in divine health and dwell continually in peace and safety, in Jesus’ Name. Hebrews 13:5-6 [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 8:40-56 & Joshua 7-9 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 26:57-68 & Exodus 40 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY, 30TH MARCH 2025 THEME: SPEAK IN TONGUES AND RECEIVE GUIDANCE THEME SCRIPTURE: For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries (1 Corinthians 14:2). As Christians, we’re never in the dark about anything. You can know anything if you’d do what the Scripture says. Our opening scripture in the Amplified Classic says, “For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].” When you’re in a situation where you aren’t sure of the accurate direction or step to take, speak in tongues. Before long, you’ll receive answers from your spirit. You’ll receive the guidance you need and the mystery about that situation will come to your understanding. Perhaps you need to know about a certain situation, subject, concepts or principles behind certain things; spend time to pray in tongues. As you do, there’ll be an unveiling in your spirit. The Lord Jesus said, “He that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12). You can know all things. You’re not supposed to walk in darkness about your finances, your health, your career, business, ministry or any area of your life. The light of God is in your spirit (Proverbs 20:27). If you have concerns about your health or about anything, consult with the Holy Spirit first; speak in tongues fervently and passionately. You’ll be amazed how quickly His light and wisdom will well up within you, showing you precisely what to do. The Holy Spirit is in you to help you understand, live, and enjoy life to the full. As you fellowship with Him, speaking in tongues of the Spirit, He’ll guide you to take specific steps in line with God’s plans for your life. Hallelujah! CONFESSION Blessed Father, I’m grateful for your guidance in my life. As I speak in tongues even now, my spirit is illumined to see and receive answers. I have guidance and know what to do in every situation because I’m guided by your light. Hallelujah! FURTHER STUDY 1 Corinthians 2:9-13 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1 Corinthians 14:2 AMPC For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands or catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths and hidden things [not obvious to the understanding]. 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 8:22-39; Joshua 5-6 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 26:47-56; Exodus 39 |
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, MARCH 29TH 2025 THEME: PARTAKERS OF THE INHERITANCE THEME SCRIPTURE: Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:12). The word "meet" in the verse above means "qualify"; the Father qualified you to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of Light. There’s an inheritance for you. Do you see why your mentality should be one of abundance? You’re the King’s kid, and everything that belongs to Him belongs to you. Being born again, the Spirit confirms that you’re a child of God: "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God” (Romans 8:16). Romans 8:17 says, "And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…." And because you’re a child of God, you’re a joint heir with Christ—a partaker of the divine nature. All the rights Jesus has, you have as well. Consider a more relatable analogy of a joint bank account. In a joint account, everything in that account belongs to both parties equally. Neither of them can access anything without the other person’s involvement. This illustrates what it means to be joint-heirs with Christ. Everything that belongs to Christ also belongs to you in full. The Bible says, "The earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein" (Psalm 24:1). There’s no lack or deficiency in this inheritance. What you need is to discover more from the Word of God about this inheritance that’s already yours. Without this knowledge, you may live unaware of the full benefits you have in Christ. 2 Peter 1:2-3 says, “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” Did you see that? Enjoying your inheritance and all that’s been made available to you in Christ Jesus is about your knowledge of Him. Hallelujah! CONFESSION I’m an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. All that belongs to Christ belongs to me in full and I walk in the fullness of my inheritance. I live in abundance and unending supply. The Word builds me up and makes me aware of all that God has freely given me in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY 2 Peter 1:3 AMPC For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [[a]full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue). Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, MARCH 28TH 2025 THEME: WITH THE HEART MAN BELIEVES THEME SCRIPTURE: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10). What does it mean to believe with the heart? The Apostle Paul wasn’t referring to the physical heart, the organ that pumps blood in your body. He's talking about your spirit. Your heart is your spirit—your innermost being. You believe with your heart, not with your mind or your brain. This is why many people who try to reason God out with their minds can’t find Him. God doesn’t appeal to your senses; He is real to your spirit. The mind doesn’t have the capacity to figure out spiritual matters. It is the human spirit that understands these things. When a man’s spirit is dead to God, the things of God will seem foolish to him. No wonder the Lord Jesus said in John 3:3, "...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." This means he cannot see the realities of the Kingdom of God nor can he know God. But when you’re born again, it’s different. Even when your brain is unable to figure something out, you can still believe it with your spirit. Think about the virgin birth of Jesus Christ: Mary, a virgin, gave birth to a baby. There’s no science that can explain that. How about Jesus dying, being buried for three days, and then rising from the dead? The natural human mind can’t explain it. But we believe it, because with the heart man believes, not with the mind. The human spirit has the capacity to believe even that which it can’t explain or understand. It’s the reason some say that as Christians we’ve been brainwashed. No! We weren’t brainwashed; we were “heart-washed!” God gave us a new heart, a believing heart. Someone says, “I only believe what I see!” That doesn’t make sense because why would you need to believe what you can already see? “...Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Faith is of the heart and not the senses. When you believe, your spirit takes a hold of divine truths that your mind cannot grasp. Hallelujah! PRAYER Dear Father, thank you for the gift of faith that works from my spirit. I believe and embrace your Word with my heart, taking hold of every divine truth, and it transforms my life. My spirit is alive to you, and I walk in your glory and righteousness today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY Mark 11:22-24 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. [23] For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. [24] Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Hebrews 11:1-3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. [2] For by it the elders obtained a good report. [3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. 2 Corinthians 4:13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Luke 7:36-50; Joshua 1-2 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Matthew 26:26-35; Exodus 37 |
