lol Bro don’t waste your time and money. You have other options ..... Apart from Gloucester, you can still find other universities within that range and offers January start. What programme are you applying for? I can suggest some universities to check out. SegunWamiri: Thank you jare my sister. E be like say you dey feel wetin I dey feel right now. Sunderland actually denied me too based on same but this was right from the beginning of the entire process. So they didn't offer me admission at all.
Really na to increase budget be that o but can someone not take it up legal actions all these schools especially these schools that are bringing up past visa refusals at the tail end of the process ni?
@Skymoore and @Wield: Thanks for your input as well. |

lol Northumbria is not within that range at all. The only university that falls within that range from your list is Chester University (but only 1 year Msc). Liverpool Hope is the cheapest. No university comes within their range. So he definitely has to increase his budget from £6,000 per year or more. mamacajah: My brother it is well..this thing you are saying ehn..Sunderland did the same thing to me.. After I had spent money for flight ticket and accommodation, police certificate on getting conditional offer, they withdrew the offer becos of my visa denials and previous masters.. The thing dampened my spirits a lot.. but I still applied to other schools and got other offers..which I am following on now..
If you really want to do this program, I would advise you look at other schools for January, ..there's Gloustershire, Edinburugh Napier, Stirling (gives 4k discount if you get the offer early), Northumbria, Teeside, Chester (these last two have slightly cheaper fees I think....) It is well..I know it's painful sha..but you will get through this.. |

Your programme choice does not influence the visa decision. It’s about how your defend your choice during the interview, with clear future employment prospects. Even if you’re going to study fishery, it’s all about your defence. Adurami040517: Good evening gurus @mimilyrics @justwise et al and congratulations to everyone who has gotten their visa. Please I just want to start this journey of uk tier 4 visa and I want to make sure I get it right. Here is my profile, graduated 11 years ago with 2:2 Bsc Geology and want to go for MSC Project Management, already applied to 4 different schools and awaiting their response , I have 9 years work experience with both private and public sector. Now to my question, i want to hear from experienced people here if my choice of course will not act as a barrier for my visa approval as I will also like to apply with my 3 dependants , am asking because I read somewhere that they see project management as a course you can study online and no need to travel to earn the degree. Please help shed more light as I don't even have any other course in mind as i do not have work experience as a geologist, project management is more of the progression for me. Thank you in anticipation of your reply. |

Okay here’s my advise based on someone’s case. She applied to Durham and just like you, paid deposit etc until it was time to issue CAS. She was denied the CAS based on a previous medical visa refusal to the US (for childbirth). This was never an issue and was never highlighted until the CAS application period. Despite so many back and forth, they refused to sponsor her CAS & said they did not believe she was a genuine student but only using the U.K. study route to give birth there. What happened next? They refunded the deposit and she proceeded with another university Manchester Met. She got CAS & finally, visa last week. What changed? She DID NOT declare the refusal for the Manchester Met Admission Application. During your admission application, DO NOT DECLARE ANY NON U.K. VISA REFUSALS. If you do, you might not get CAS sponsorship! Only declare the refusals for the visa application NOT admission application. So what do you do now? Kindly proceed with another university against January intake. As for Liverpool Hope, I can assure you that there’s nothing you can do. You will only be wasting your time to appeal.! SegunWamiri: PLEASE... HELP. DENIAL OF CAS @justwise, @mimilyrics, @ANYONE
Good evening All, I have been on silent mode for quite a while now. That is because I have been engaged in some kind of tussle with my school - Liverpool Hope University but I think it's hightime I presented my case here.
The school has refused to issue my CAS after discovering that I have 3 previous visa refusals (US Visit, Canada study and Australia visit) after my first UK master's degree. This information was requested ONLY after I have fulfilled all the conditions - Tuition deposit, DBS disclosure/Nigerian Police Character Certificate, completing an Online health questionnaire, copy of valid passport that came with my offer on April 15th, 2020 and then it's time to issue CAS and they are messing up.
My angle of argument is that if they knew that past visa refusals is a concern for them, they should have asked me about it early enough in the admission process. As a matter of fact, they shouldn't have made me an offer in the first place. Why is it just coming up? Meanwhile, I didn't take my interview with Derby serious because I felt that I already have a SURE admission with Liverpool Hope.
Here is a quote from their email to me:
"It was noted that you completed an RQF Level 7 MSc in Management at the University of Hertfordshire in 2013 and that the MA Social Work course that you have applied for is also an RQF Level 7 qualification. When assigning a CAS to an applicant for a course at the same academic level as a previously completed UK qualification, we need to justify the reasoning for this. Having reviewed your personal statement the Panel felt that this was not adequately explained in your application. Furthermore, as you already have 3 visa refusals from other countries, any future visa application is likely to be scrutinized more closely, and it is felt that your credibility as a genuine student may be questioned."
Apart from looking for another school and possibly prepare for January/February 2021, what else can I do? Although I have been in touch with the Pro VC whom signed my admission letter in the first place, presenting all evidences and documents that the school had led me on this far, she is yet to give a positive response.
NB: The £5,700 tuition/YR for international applicants was my source of attraction/motivation. Therefore, I honestly don't know where I can start gathering more than that from at this period. |

Good faith violation is a thing in trading tbh but very apparent in ALL the Nigerian apps. Unfortunately some do not give you a warning or notify you. Kindly withdraw your money, port to Trading212 and enjoy seamless trading Lilosh: pls, does anybody know anything about good faith violation in Chaka app?? they said I have committed 3 good faith violation and won't be able to trade for the next 12months. I don't even understand their explanation of what the good faith violation is that I got in my mail. this is really annoying. Apparently I can't use fund that I got from selling a share to immediately buy another company share without waiting for at least 2days for the fund to settle, that I have to deposit new fresh money if I must trade immediately. that if sell a share and use the proceed to immediately buy another company share without waiting 2days, it would means I have committed a good faith violation. I did it about three times. I want to know if this good faith violation thing is also in trove and Bamboo. let me know so I can leave chaka. |

Well said!! BLAQBOYFLY: OK! So if you're new to investing or stock trading i'd advice you not to go with most of if not any of the Nigerian "trading platforms" & i know how this sounds but here's the thing: If you're not already experienced with trading, graphs & indicators then most of the other trading platforms based outside of Nigeria would help you a whole lot better than the ones here because the ones here are also new just like you & would require time to configure their "product or platform" to better suit the everyday trader/investor. For example if i open a $10k position on a stock, based on trove's fees i'd pay $100 fee for that at 1%. Platforms like this are definitely not for you even if you're not trading with $10k. Just head over to the fees page on trove to see the disgusting fee structure they have. If you're buying us stocks for example you pay a 1% fee of the total amount for buying & the same goes for selling. So at the end of the day if you have to close a position at a loss you'd be loosing at both ends of the stick. Oh,their terms & conditions are equally flawed. Most people won't mind these things maybe cuz you have limited information & don't know about the wealth of platforms at your disposal but as always,Do Your Due Diligence. Bamboo charges a whooping 2.9% for depositing with a USD card & then charge a 1.5% "commission" on buying & selling US Stocks. They also have fees for instant deposit as apparently your deposit won't be instant but if you want that there's a fee for that. LMAO! |

What recommendation do you need exactly? xteeeee: Hello Justwise, hope you are good?
Please help with your insight,
I need to apply for a visiting visa to the UK.
I completed my masters in the UK in 2015 and have not travelled back ever since.
Now I intend to visit my friend who has a job of 20+Pound per annum.
I have a Job in Nigeria paying 270k monthly although on a monthly basis i save part of my take home in a different account which is not my salary account and a different bank to be precise. Although the fund in the account is over 1.5 million.
What do you recommend here please?
Please note, my travel history is ok. I visited Dubai in January. i visited 4 other countries in the past.
Thank you.

Immigration does not always have time to call your invitee and that’s what I was trying to tell one fella here last week. They generally do not have time to be making phone calls for visit visa invitation. You should have provided more documents such as birth certificates (you both), family photos, phone conversations or text messages affirming your visit, and other supporting documents. Also submitting a bank statement without or few deposits from your company account is a red flag. Anyway no biggie, just reorganise yourself and reapply sometime later. Do not reapply immediately because it could suggest desperation. All the best Dlaw6578: Help!!!!!! They didn't contact my invitee which happens to be my brother.....to the guru in the house I need advice on what to do here for the refusal letter to be overtun, if possible with your people's view and experience |

Congratulations on your visa approval. But I would like to pass a warning to other prospective applicants with a similar profile. Please and please, always declare ALL your previous visa refusals. Do not skip one country & declare the other. What has worked for others may not work for you. If the VO in charge of your application realise that you have intentionally not declared some rejections, you could be penalised for false information or deception. Having previous visa rejections does not mean you cannot get an approval. Just an advise, you can take it or leave it. Kaay1: Visa approved My timeline: 4 Tier Student visa – TLS Abuja Application submitted online – 11th August Biometrics & Interview - 19th August Passport ready for collection - 9th September Passport collected- 9th September No non-straightforward email or 2nd interview. I was so worried because I didn’t add all of my visa rejections. I only included one rejection per country. Overall I had about 8 rejections in the past from UK, France, Canada and USA respectively. This is my first UK visa. I was also rejected a UK tourist visa in January 2020. |

Your duration of stay doesn’t matter. Stating 10 days previously doesn’t mean you cannot stay less or more days. The 14 days quarantine doesn’t apply if you intend to leave early eg 10 days. No one will stop you from leaving the country on the 10th day, because you haven’t completed exactly 14 days. sermming: Good Evening gurus in the house. Please I need advice on what to do.I have a tourist UK visa that was issued Last month ** August**(6 Month). On my application I stated 10 days on my application before the covid 19 issue. Now that the visa is out and am buying ticket how many weeks should i put considering i will be quarantined at the hotel for 14days.
