I genuinely do not want to derail the thread with this. Yes he is the same person. He opened it sometime in April or so, bc he wanted to hide certain information from his main handle. He also wanted to use it to troll me in particular bc I was against one of his opinions some time. I had to do deep analysis to realise that he was the one & if you check my handle some pages back, you will see me calling him out to stop hiding under another alias. Apart from his trolls here, I recognised him based on the IP addresses of the two handles (email) and also matched him based on corresponding messages here. The accounts were following each other and some other obvious variables.

Anyway, it is what it is. I have put my energy on better things (eg : stock market )

No, you did not open the new handle to announce your visa approval. You opened it around April or May, I genuinely cannot remember. The period when you wanted to know about depositing money in an account for visa purposes. I made a comment on that which you didn’t like and you started cursing me after. Unfortunately you’ve deactivated the account so there’s no way for me to backtrack, but nevertheless, it’s all good.

Congratulations on your visa approval (wether past tense or future tense). Go and conquer!

So keep open mind for other contributions.
If you really want to apply from Nigeria, maybe you can show new enrolment letter, proof of tuition payment or scholarship document, valid visa and other documents that supports your studies in Russia.

It proves you’re actually a resident there & it will make things easier.

U.K. will not give you 10 days.
Either 6 months, 2 years, 5,10yrs depending on what you paid for.

Bro, your academic certificate says you have already completed your programme six months ago. This is not about any visa renewal. It’s the fact that you’re done studying and do not have any ties to Russia anymore.

If your visa has actually been renewed, kindly fly back to Russia whenever you can & make your application there. You have more chances of approval from there than Nigeria.

I got my refusal letter today because I submitted my admission letter with the evidences, Russia gives 3months visa from Nigeria which is then renewed in Russia and it was renewed but I didn’t point it out in my letter, I am about to try again but with my renewal letter, a copy of my renewed visa and a letter explaining how it’s done. I still have till October 10 and another priority should be out before then. My gurus in the house, what do you think??

Some are saying it’s mandatory for ALL travellers & it’s the first thing they ask for. Others are saying it’s not mandatory. Let me not come and book Turkish & bear another story oh . Better to add that 42k COVID-19 test fee and book BA

try Euro exchange. They have outlets in most cities. They usually offer good rates.
Post office will not pay you enough.

Personal Travel Allowance.
Basically you get money cheaper from the bank than what it’ll cost you in the black market.

Example : 4000USD PTA will cost you approximately 1.6m.
That same 4000USD in black market will cost you approximately 1.9m.

So if you’re travelling, you can request for PTA.
Only give you once in 3 months.

Jokes apart, they don’t provide accommodation.
But there’s a lounge (IGA) that you can pay for a bed (sleepod). It’s not very expensive. I can’t remember the price but about €50 for some hours or so.

Alternatively, you can get an e visa for $50 and explore Istanbul during the 24 hours. Just catch a train from the airport to downtown. At least you can add Turkey to your Travel history hehehe

Anyway, See the pictures below for the sleep pod.

General Advice;

If you are looking to apply for PTA, submit your application at most (1)week before your travel date. Getting PTA is now VERY HARD! Most branches will tell you that there’s no space until weeks after your travel date.

Don’t wait for few days to submit your application.
Make sure you’ve deposited the funds already, else your slot will be given to someone else. I have been running around all morning and saying abeg abeg to different operational managers this morning.

Again some banks will only give you DOLLARS.
They don’t all have GBP or EURO.
So you have to change the Dollars to the currency you want.

Dollars : 386
Euro : 463
GBP: idk bc I didn’t ask but a friend collected at 501

Limit is 4000USD.

Note again: YOU MUST PRESENT A RETURN TICKET even if you’re going as a student. ONE WAY TICKETS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
