A big part of why LG's mobile division (sadly) bit the dust was simple: lack of brand recognition caused by poor marketing.

To those who keep saying that, 'A good product does not need advert', well ask LG and Sony how they doing.

I'vd always and will always love LG flagships. Only a handful of phones beat them in audio quality. That ESS Quad DAC could drive even a 1000-ohm headphone! Same audio chip on the V60 is used in a lot of high-end DAPs/USB DACs. And the V50 is prolly the last Android phone with a hardware MQA decoder and proper DSD playback, as long as you don't update it to Android 10.
