Though they have all rights to be angry at PMB but such anger should be with sense. LOL. See this one! You have "human intellect" yet your miserable little composition is fraught with errors. No wonder you support Buhari. |

Nice stuff.
I wish these nairaland writers can send out their stories to literary magazines for publication. That's how to judge your abilities and improve your craft as a writer. At least you get something close to a professional feedback!
I stopped posting my stories on nairaland, and I have had a story accepted and published by a popular online literature blog. I have also become a better writer than I was, though I am still very far from my target. The only way to write better is by writing always, learning from our mistakes, and reading better writers. 3 Likes |

What do you mean by PMB is not running an inclusive government? Isn't there a ND service chief and are there no ND ministers and other personnel in his cabinet? You're not making any point here. You have not answered my first question: Is the NDA getting crushed now? Between the NDA and the FG, who is presently losing? And mind you, I am totally against what they are doing, 100%! We cannot hope that they will be crushed while they keep shutting down the country. Asari Dokubo and co also yabbered about secession, what finally happened? |

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/05/need-sovereign-state-not-pipeline-contracts-militants/
What do you think the government response would be to such a request? They have to be crushed. So who is getting crushed now? How long will it take the military to crush them? I don't believe they really want secession. A woman does not suddenly decide to get a divorce when her husband is treating her well. It is clear that Buhari is not running an inclusive government. The so-called panel should have been set up long ago. |

For me, the top three publishers when it comes to fiction are: 1. Cassava Republic
2. Farafina
3. Paressia

Skywalker5: Parasites? come on man. Is that how you look at other states or tribes? You should know at the end of the day, we are all in this together. If there is anyone to blame, it has always been the people ruling. They steal all the money and then brainwash you that its other people 's fault. I wish people could just open their eyes and see that the general public is not the enemy, its the rich who steal money and divert your attention. With this bombing now, someone is making money and its obvious the rich sponsoring the militant to blow up infrastructures. The people of the states they just destroyed will suffer and lose jobs because some people want to prove a point to the whole of Nigeria. Mr President implied that all Nigerians are not equal by saying the regions that did not give him much votes won't be treated as well as the others. How can a president be so divisive and unreasonable? I am Igbo, born and bred, and I don't support what the NDA is doing because it is bad, first of all; it will affect us all in the long run. But then Buhari's body language (I must say) does not show he really knows what he is doing. It is a lot easier, I believe, to stop the pipeline bombings than to fight Boko Haram, but Buhari decided to fight a war on two sides. Why not come down to their level and talk things through? Show genuine interest in their matter instead of threatening and invoking the elusive crushing abilities of the military. Yar'Adua was not silly when he gave them amnesty. These boys grew up in the creeks and can navigate the waterways better than our military, so they always have upper hand. Mr Buhari should shelf his pride and play the fool to get what we want, which is to move Nigeria forward against all odds. |

Buhari is too egoistic and vengeful to be a president. Oga come down to the level of these guys since your military cannot fight them. Come down to their level before everything comes crashing down. |

EVILFOREST: PEACE MASS TRANSIT wants to destroy the meaning of PEACE. I am writing from a practical experience. I left Enugu for Port Harcourt, seated in front. Few minutes into the journey, while still in Enugu, the peace mass transit driver started nodding his head semiconsciously (SLEEPING behind wheels).
I Screamed and alerted other passengers. I still appreciate GOD for that, because i saw an incoming truck and the peace Driver had already veered off his lane.
They hardly get some rest. Challenge passengers all through. Young and Irresponsible ( most still single) Usually get angry while behind wheels. Must respond to every gist. You're very correct, especially on the issue of challenging passengers. Some of them call the bluff of security operatives on the road. I've stopped using their services. |

The ones you gave cars already have cars and live a relatively comfortable life. There are poorer people in your church, and besides a luxury car is not the best gift to a "poor" man. If I were your church member, I'd stop giving tithes and offerings.
That said, it's your money; I won't tell you how to spend it. |
