1. Check the Email linked to your Facebook.

They will ask you if u were the one that made the change.

if not theres a link there that will say "Secure Account"

click on the linked and follow the instructions.

2. Visit facebook.com/hacked

3. When u finally get your account back, make sure u activate 2FA authentication.

4. Your account was likely hacked by phishing That is, u entered your Facebook details on a website designed to look like Facebook


What the person did was, the person Changed your password, removed your email and phone number and deleted all your saved cookies and session with Facebook.

Isn't 150k too small. Such salary won't go anywhere if you're based in Lagos my friends work remotely from school so dey can afford to save much on that amount. With the rising cost of living, 150k per month will have little to nothing saved after removing all expenses

Like I said... I highly doubt there's anything as average salary in Nigeria.


Salary is relative depending on the company u find yourself.


You're most likely not going to get the pay you deserve in Nigeria as a Junior or an entry level Dev.


Sometimes u take up these types of job to build your CV and learn more.


Very hard to see a company willing to pay u 300k+ in Nigeria as a Junior developer.... it's very hard but not unheard of.


So.... 150k in Nigeria as a junior is kinda good (Nigerian standard good) to build your Cv while u search for something better and increase your knowledge.

I will be graduating school June/July next year with a first class degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

I don't want to waste much time so I'd like to enter the job market immediately upon graduation.

I intend to start applying for jobs early next year in anticipation for my graduation but I don't know what to expect as total compensation for junior developers who are staffed full time.

Some of my friends have already taken up full time jobs while being students but they paid the price with their grades yet their compensation is grossly appalling (100k - 150k max)

Question is, what is the median compensation for a junior developer with 0 YOE and above average coding skills in Nigeria?

And how is the WLB too?, I don't plan on killing myself or working extra hours for any company.

My major goal is to get enough money to fund my Master's abroad if international scholarships become too difficult to get.

It really depends on the company you applied and what you're willing to take.


Some people are just desperate or want to pad their CV so they'll just accept anything at first then move on later .

That's because you look at C++ from a web dev nitch which is not the strength of it. Try casting your net to hardcore firmware and system-level design that powers the frameworks rookies use. Those engineers are few because it's "Not interesting " but they go home with paychecks only a few at FAANG, Hedge Fund and crazy startups with desperation pay out.

C++ is not your generalistic language. And No!, I'm not a C++ dev. What I see in transition now is Rust and Golang. How many devs from our race code in those? Only a few.

Same way Python will be a laughing stock for enterprise level multithread concurrency systems when you have Java available, is same way Other languages will be when you come to the side of hardcore firmware industries like Apple, Qualcomm, Intel, Nvidia, Cisco and hardware likes.

My engineering background heavily on Electronics and Data communication still have me touch C++ from time to time. Because if interest changes, I'll switch to the firmware side. Try checking the requirements of the companies I mentioned above and you'll take this stereotype you cave out which am hearing for the first time

My point? Every language has strengths in its niche. And for C++, the glory comes with the firmware industry which it was built for. Not a welcome domain for rookies

My circle and I view programming languages as a tool

What we focus on more is mastering logic!


If we intend to build a program that C++ or Java is best fit for it, we go ahead and learn those languages... And add it into our toolset


It will be super easy for us because we know how Logic works in programming..


Looping is something all programming languages use.

Since we know this and we know say JavaScript primarily.


What we just have to do is figure out how to type out a loop in C++ or any other new language we are trying to add in our toolset.


Knowing how computers think and how Logic in programing works is the most important.


The rest of it there is just knowing how to setup the language environment and learning syntaxes and variable declarations.



U may not know this now because u don't understand programming
