Hia. Not much information provided abeg.
Lemme tell you what u need for Lagos: 1. Make sure u don't do so in dry season. You wanna go about it in rainy season to see firsthand the flooding status of the area. You don't wanna wake up in a pool of water or having to leave the house wading through a mini river or in rainboots or in a boat depending on the severity of flooding.
2. To make sure you don't get brain gay from the myriad sources of noise avoid being at/close to: a. A Pentecost church b. A mosque c. A junction/park of bike/keke (honking)
3. Security. Avoid junctions/Park areas. There will be higher potential for fights, potential dangerous gathering of "yoots" etc. If there's community security it won't be bad.
4. Never stay on the ground floor unless it is a new house and/or has well paved floor.
5. You'd better find a flat with a veranda for obvious reasons of ventilation. It comes in handy for your gen too.
6. You might wanna ask about power history there. Some neighborhoods are notoriously without power for severe reasons ranging from community relations with PHCN to overload tendencies and perennially faulty transformers.
..... Most other things u can improve on your own even access to water. |

Everybody is getting fed-up of there rant and chest-beating?
Dudes have forgotten that no matter how, NIGERIA will always be on the winning side!
There lots will always
-Apply for visas - Work-permit - There students will start paying as international students in our prestigious schools - Multinational will be forced to down size foreign workforce. - Pay high taxes as international businessmen/businesswoman which will triple revenue for Nigerian state and Federal goverment -Land use charges on there properties within Nigeria will triple as foreigners has they happen to have more dispersed investment -For at least 20years, There economy will be "solely" dependent on Nigeria, and a bitter truth is that,
- The scenery after break-up will be similar, if not worse than what is happening in South-Africa. They will be highly discriminated within the Nigerian territory that will frequently spring up xenophobic attacks.
Just a few to mention! Reality stares at them! Bros Google ECOWAS. Don't be a mu mu. And people are aligning with your bereaved idea. Kai. |

What is labour productivity?
Ok just checked and found out. Logical. It's a bad sign given the prevailing economic state of the country. It's worked out by dividing output vs input. Eg 80k Naira worth of goods is done by 100 people meaning a value of 800. Should less people do this job the figure does up. This figure going up in Nigeria in these times means people are working more and evidently for less given the great job losses we are seeing. |

The Banjo guy ultimately killed himself.
Even his sister according to this write up said: that Banjo invaded the mid West at his own initiative, leading a liberation army. This is a soldier under the authority of a head of state.
He is a soldier. He knows what is chain of command. The write up even says he argues with Ojukwu (his ultimate oga) soteeeey Nigeria recovered from the Midwest takeover shock. I think this guy's ultimately cost Biafra the war. In hierarchy u follow orders chikena.
And we need to realize this: Biafra is not Ojukwu. Biafra is Biafra and bigger than Ojukwu. Ojukwu was the front man then just like this Kanu guy is the most outspoken now. However Biafra is on the heart of all those who call it a heritage one way or the other because of the realities of a Nigeria. Until those realities are faced and apprised, Biafra will likely not go away.

Health › HELP!!!: Nigeria Rotting Away In Hospital For Lack Of Fund After 2009 Accident by sleemfesh(op): 8:48am On May 05, 2017 |
I came across a post on Facebook. Can we get traction to this and get this young man help please. This is disheartening. https://www.facebook.com/donatus.obioma.3His story in his own words: The tragedy which subjected me unto this agony till this moment is still a shocked to me, how it happened is something I don't like remembering; the experience is so sad I don't like talking about.
However, I will not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.
My name is Aguneke Donatus Obioma. I am from Ihioma in Orlu L.G.A of Imo state. Born in August 1st 1983, growing in strength and might of God.
I was in my fourth year in Enugu State University of Science and Technology, studying Quantity Surveying before I entered in the trap of devil. On March 28th 2009, I was on way to Lagos when the bus i boarded got onto a ghastly accident which threw me into this agony till this moment. When I regained consciousness after the accident I could no longer get up because the accident affected my spinal cord.
Ever since then, I have been going from one hospital to another. I spent not less than 9 months in Imo State Teaching Hospital Orlu where I was first admitted and later proceeded to Orthopedic Hospital Enugu where we spent 3 months plus, before the doctors said my case is severe he therefore recommended further treatment to abroad (India) for neuro-spinal scaffold implant on an estimate of N5 million (based on the exchange rates of those days) i don't know the present cost now. Unfortunately, my family could not afford this cost till today.
All effort to raise this amount of money by my class-mates and friends proved abortive; this has been the reason why I have being bedridden for over 8 years now. The miserable thing is that my condition degenerated from spine injury to other complications such as diabetes, stomach ulcer and pressure-sore.
On 15th December 2016, I was rushed to Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, but the doctors rejected me (the pressure-ulcer in my bottom is too deep that you can easily see my bone). Then, we move to Hilltop Hospital Enugu km 2 Enugu/Onitsha Expressway Trans-Ekulu Enugu in Enugu State where I was admitted. Presently, at Hill-Top Clinic with my stomach facing down, wake up everyday different bills arising for some critical treatment but i couldn't meet up with the complete payment of N725,000 (Seven Hundred And Twenty Five Thousand Naira) Bills for preasure-ulcer operations that have been made to sustain me.
The spinal cord injury (the major problem) has not been solved and the longer I stays in the hospital, the more money I spends on the hospital bed-space.
Thinking about my predicament and when I will fully recover, it hurts me so much then I ask myself How do I move to freedom? God came into my mind first followed by You (I mean you that's reading this). I know that there are some other people's conditions that are worse than mine, thanks be to God for His grace up to this point. I kindly ask for your financial support like from the common saying two heads are better than one. I know fraudsters are all over the places but I will prove to you that this is real.. Cause I believe that lot of people who want to help are out there but they are scared of falling into the hands of the scammers(419). Whatever details that you will like know, I will do all I can do to provide and I can do VIDEO CALL using facebook platform for more proofs.
I am writting to ask for your kind help to save my life, I believe nothing is too extreme for God to handle although He use people like you and i strongly feel he can use you to save me from this deepest despair. Am still passing through excruciating pain.
This condition have ripped my family off financial. They can afford little or less medical expenses. So any help or information about charitable medical organizations and possible financial support will be highly appreciated and any amount from your heart will surely be appreciated, may God continue to bless the works of your hands. Thanks so much as I anticipate your positive effort.

Politics › Nigerian Embassy In Washington Shutdown Over Nonpayment Of 5 Months Salaries by sleemfesh(op): 8:37am On May 03, 2017 |
Workers have not been paid in the past 5 months. Imagine the Nonesense. Nigeria sef. Workers at the Nigerian Embassy in Washington have been on a sit-in, paralysing activities at the mission in the United States.
The workers said they have not been paid salaries for the past five months, forcing them to embark on the strike.
Although some departments of the embassy are said to still be functional, they threatened to report the embassy to the U.S. Labour Department.
There were no official functions at the embassy on Tuesday, as the workers only gathered at the lunch room in the basement.
The embassy in Washington and the consulate in New York are said to be currently cash strapped, with staff and local workers not being paid for months.
A source close to the Presidency said there has been a lot of mismanagement of resources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, causing a lack of concern for staff welfare and difficulty in the missions being able to carry out their functions. http://www.channelstv.com/2017/05/02/nigerian-embassy-washington-shut/

Politics › Clarification Of Peter Obi and his Watch(es) by sleemfesh(op): 7:37pm On May 01, 2017 |
The man said, "this is the only watch I have. I have worn it for 17yrs"
" This is the only watch I have" is present continuous tense. It does not make any claim to the past. So at the material moment this is the only watch he has. This doesn't mean last week he didn't have 20 for eg. That he has worn it for 17yrs means that in the course of the past 17yrs you will regularly see him wearing it. It does not mean he has worn ONLY it for 17yrs.
Why are Nigerians unnecessarily obsessed with matters that make no sense. This man made claims about governance and spending, has anyone disputed any of the numbers and postulations he put up? This is what the youth should concern themselves with and not watches worn and shoes owned. The man is passing a message and it is a concrete one. |

Culture › Begging Styles In Lagos by sleemfesh(op): 4:39pm On Mar 03, 2017 |
I thought I knew all the begging systems in Lagos till I heard some new moves from this taxi man today. 3 below was totally new to me.
1. Dressed up women, usually in at least 2s or 3s (I've seen a cluster of 4) carrying kids at their back and asking for transport fare to sometimes phantom destinations. (expect this crew around Mile 2 to Coconut on Apapa-Oshodi express. This group was quite spooky from day one so I didn't fall for them.
2. Well dressed men brandishing pharmacy or hospital bill/receipt asking for money to complete for their child's treatment. One claimed he is a teacher. (expect these solo guys around the Ikeja area) . I fell for this once.
3. School kids wearing a school uniform with a backpack or their bag begging along the streets of VI. Yet to encounter these 'talented' kids.
4. Kid(s) carrying an empty or near empty tray or bowel of 'pure water' and crying their eyes out claiming to have lost the money they made selling earlier and afraid to go home and report. Lagos Island. Yet to encounter these entrepreneurs.
So guys, choose your 'mugu-lity' carefully. These guys are making Lagosians like me heartless and unwillingly to help.
For those of them that parade some poor fellows with very pitiable and often times horrible looking physical ailments to match with offertory bags and megaphone asking for money to take care of them folks; I do not have an opinion as I do not yet know what they end up doing with the cash they collect. |
