The center for public orientation has passed a vote of confidence on the Special Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in person of Hon Engr Abubakar S. Ohere.
The chairman of the organization Mr Akinola Babatunde who described the role and performance of the Special Adviser to be applaudable, pointing out that he possess an enviable exemplary leadership pattern which is required by every public office holder.
The chairman of the organization Stated that the achievements of Hon Engr Ohere in the Ministry of local government and chieftaincy affairs in Kogi State is second to none since establishment of the ministry and highly commendable. He said the appointment of Hon Engr Ohere Abubakar by Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello to serve in his cabinet is a blessing to the realization of the Government's new direction agenda and five thematic focus sectors. Mr Akinola noted that under the leadership of Engr Abubakar Ohere as the Special Adviser Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, lots as been achieved such as in flouncing and achieving the Local Government Funds autonomy, embarking on basic Amenities developmental projects cut across the Local Government Areas in the State, establishing a mechanized grassroot farming system, initiating Kogi Local Government Agricultural produce exportation an envisioned mean of generating revenue and empowering the youths, monitoring and checkmating the activities of the Sole Administrators of the Local Government Areas, facilitating the payment of Local Government Staffs whereby reducing the Government back log of owed salaries, he added that Hon Engr Ohere is a humble man with high intellectual prowess, committed and devoted to work, accessible and punctual at his place of work, God fearing and result oriented.
All these act therefore, he said are worthy of Emulation and commendation for it is an ideal to be emulated by all appointees and civil servants to achieve the desired kogi state of our choice. He reiterated by passing a votes of confidence on Engr Abubakar Ohere the special adviser to kogi state governor on local government and chieftaincy affairs, and urging him to sustain the modest moderate virtue of responsiveness.
