Ok I have been forgetting to type this. I wrote my Firstbank aptitude test on the 10th of December, 2016. While I was on my questions and battling with time factor. I heard voices behind me. I moved on to the general question section only to notice that the noise persisted. I looked behind and saw a dragnet employee helping a candidate.

It begs the question, what's an aptitude test and what's the need for one if you are going to help a candidate. Is this how to get better as a country? Where's the fairness? Firstbank trusted dragnet enough to contract them to take over part of their recruitment processes and this is what dragnet could come up with? Smh for people in this country.

Hello guys. I was invited to take the aptitude but due to time constraints, I asked to be rescheduled. sent emails and called as well. up till now I haven't been rescheduled. How do I go about this please? Anyone else in my shoes?

well, I am happy for you guys that were able to make it to this level.
I expect(ed) to be a participant too(still expecting), but have not got any mail from dragnet; when an uncle of mine who happens to be a manager of a zone of firstbank troubleshot to know the problem, he said that, my name was not found on the list of successful applicants, and inquired to know if I saw a message showing after applying showing that my application was successful, in which I attested to.
Lucky for me, I even downloaded my profile after the application and sent it to him there and then for which he printed went through and sent to someone who might have something to do on it. I did some preparations for the exam that's my concern, and I appeared eligible with a bachelor of eng. with 2.1 and less than the maximum age with NYSC completed about two months now.

whatever gets to be the case, I sincerely will pray God to help all those that have crossed this stage to get to the point of receiving an offer from the bank.

First, backup your files using blackberry link
Secondly, wipe your device(your files are already backed up)
third, connect your modem and download and install the latest OS version using blackberry link(of course your device must be plugged in)
after the update, restore your files

Note: you mentioned not being able to browse, have you checked your APN?

Which bank does he use? Sometimes it depends on the bank. Some banks are slow like ecobank.

My guy, u had better prep urself as I met a guy that came from ph(diobu) on that day, also met someone that came from abj.... it's all part of sacrifices one has to do for securing a job... if for other reasons aside distance, u had better package ur story and lie very well so they can release u from ur place of work prior to 15th....eg...tell them u have an interview at a country (of ur choice) embassy in lagos by 8 am..... abeg i no teach u to dey lie oh.... just dey give u scope.... thank me later

Congrats. You cannot reschedule centres as there's only one location for the test which is their business location stated in your mail. You can however call the number on the text message sent to you to complain about your situation perhaps they might reschedule you for a more convenient time.

Hey guys... I was also shortlisted for 15th November. I studied mechanical engineering. My problem is that I can't make it to Lagos because of distance and other reasons. Is there a way to change exam centres to maybe PH?

That's the normal data plan I'm currently on but because normal data plans work for bb10...they termed it bb10 plans or what?

I had to change my APN username to gloflat tho

Maybe to alert BlackBerry 10 users to the development anyway.

The difference now is that, with the new BB10 plans, one does not need to change APN from blackberry.net to gloflat

the network reception is nothing to write home about... I have to stay by my window for one particular corner to get my H+.... and their 2G self is like G...
just ported to airtel... even tho its 1k5h... at least I get reception from my bed *sigh of relieve*

That's what a lot of people experience with GLO network. But we must appreciate them because they are the reason for cheaper internet today
