Nairaland General › Polishing The Right Way. by slimes(op): 7:29pm On Dec 22, 2009 |
A lot of people are attracted to nice shiny shoes. It appeases the eye no doubt, but the hidden agenda is that not many know 'how to do it yourself'. There are tools needed for that bright shiny shoe viz: 1} Soft brush of any size but preferably flat 2) Foam that is a lil thick 3} Any brand of high quality polish 4} Clean rag
Action Start by cleaning off the dust if any then apply polish to the shoe, boot, sandals e.t.c. The next step is to actually spread the polish to the entire leather footwear using the flat soft brush and finally, the foam will be used to briskly shine the shoe. Have a look at the shoe, is it not better than the road side shoe polishing mallam? |

OEO: His first executive decision should be to ease Aondoakaa from office for his poor legal advice to the Nation.
He wont even need Senate confirmation to replace him as Odien Ajumogbia (SAN) can replace him as Attorney General.
Jonthan should also make sure he is in charge even if he has to run the country for 2 days.
Reduce Yar'adua's 7 point agenda to 2. (Power and Electoral reform using the Uwais report). Focus on just those 2 in the remaining months.
Other sensible appointments.
Yayale Ahmed for Vice President
It may be true
Mallam Nasiru El-Rufai can replace odein Ajumogbia as Energy Minister in other to drive home and fastrack the power generation project.
General Abdulahi Muhamed to replace Genereal Sariki Mukhtar as NSA (the later engaged all soughts of childish activities under the Yar'adua regime) General Andrew Owoye Azazi could also be tapped NSA if he is interested.
Donald Duke to replace Adamu Aliero as FCT Minister.
Dr Mansur Mukhtar the Finance Minister to lead a newly reconstituted economic team.
Tanimu Yakubu the economic adviser to Yar'adua should also be relieved of his duty. How I wish GoodLuck is reading and his palnning to implement all these suggestions.
It is well with 9ja. |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Is Nigeria's EconomyGrowing At All? by slimes(m): 7:17pm On Dec 21, 2009 |
Justcash: Nigeria's Economy is growing. The growth is largely unutilised, so there is no development. The Economy needs to be fuelled by the collaborative effort of the government and the private sector. Government needs to create an enabling environment for the private sector to run the economy, with a regulatory input from them. For example, Nigeria has a demographic advantage over other African countries, yet we have not been able to make good use of the domestic consumption ability of our nation to stimulate investments, jobs, increase in tax rate etc. like the USA does. With the high rate of unemployment, Entrepreneurial development is seriously needed to enable more Nigerians to be able to create jobs through investment.
It will take only the provision of basic infrastructures, creation of an enabling environment and encouragement of entrepreneurship for the Nigerian Economy to explode. I believe these things will be done as soon as God finishes the operation he is currently doing on our motherland. I just hope we will still be one after that. U've said my mind. |
