The Gaffer is starting Saha these days cos Saha is low on confidence and needs more matches to increase his sharpness and guile in front of goal. The player has been ravaged by series of injuries which seem to have plagued his career and he needs to get on his feel quickly to at least justify the £12.5m price tag. It has nothing to do with him better than Ruud or vice versa.

Thanx for admitting. Keeping the ball on the floor does not stop Henry from scoring with his head. Barcelona keeps the ball on the floor better than Arsenal and Etoo,Messi,Larsson and even Ronaldinho score with their heads. Brazil are the best in keeping balls on the floor and the strikers score with their heads. Henry is not just good enuff in the box. His STRENGTH lies outside the box where he can assist with sublime passes,run at defenders and create havoc for defenders.

I have seen the Video and my pick is RUUD. Ruud's job is to put the ball at the back of the net which he does effectively. I think RUUD does what he is asked to do and that is to SCORE goals. He has scored all kinds of goals unlike Henry who finds it diffcult to score with his HEAD. I can count henry's headers on my finger-tips in his over 200 career goals @ arsenal.

It's obvious RUUD has the cutting edge in goalscoring than Henry and if i were to be a Manager,i wld buy RUUD instead of Henry!

If this is ur comparison, then i will judge Chelsea after Jose arrived. He won 2 titles in his debut season. Anutha title is in the bag already and there's FA cup to fight for. That means he might win 4 titles in two seasons EXCLUDING charity shields. He has already broken a record Wenger failed to break in 10 years!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mourinho has won 2 Premiership titles back to back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only successful teams EXCITE and ENTERTAIN. How in the name of Zeus can a team like West Brom or Portsmouth excite anyone. Arsenal of 2003/04 do play entertaining and exciting football and that was where it ended. U cannot rate a team to be the most E and E based on one season when we r looking at a decade.
I agree with all y'all gunners if u were talking about the 03/04 season but in the last 10 years,Enyimba and Zamalek wld stay slightly above arsenal on this list if FIFA were to configure such a list.

Obviously, handsome men do cheat more if he is that INCLINED. When he is RICH, then girls(especially lagos gals) run after him like crazzzzzzzy.
The chances of a handsome guy cheating is relatively higher than an ugly dude with the same inclination.

I dont see anything so special in the Okocha of those days(1993) He was so erratic and he was just a bundle of individual skills that does not affect the team positively. He was part of the reason why Nigeria got eliminated. He was too similar to Denilson of Brazil.

I saw Mikel Obi and he is way too calm for the type of football he plays. Had Nigeria won the last summer's youth tournament,he wld have been named the best player in that tournament. Messi pipped him at the last minute! British Eurosport commentators were too fanatical about this boy not because of the media-hype but the COMPOSURE he carries along with him. I still insist he is the best passer of the ball Nigeria has ever produced.

U keep hollering abt entertainment and excitement, There's no way a team wld win titles after titles without entertaining and exciting football fans cos excitement itself is all abt winning. Tell me, how do u excite ur fans without winning home matches? U shld come and see the looks on the faces of the Highbury fanatics when Mourinho's machine humiliated the home fans(Although,without VIEIRA) last december or when Fergie's men demolish ur darling team(with VIEIRA) last season @ Highbury. Go back to ur TV and watch Arsenal's matches this season and u will shed tears for them. How can u compare ANY arsenal team(2000 B.C. till date) to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd or even Chelsea in terms of entertainment or excitement? Its a far cry. Barcelona has/had Ronaldo/Romario/Ronaldinho, Man Utd has Giggs/Cristiano Ronaldo/Cantona and Chelsea has Zola/Joe Cole/Lampard. These players dazzled week in-week out whether they win or not. No arsenal player can match these lots in terms of play-making.

I dont swallow words cos i dont speak out without getting my facts right. Its a pity u can still come out and defend an arsenal team that has never made it to UEFA champions league semi-finals. What a misfortune! U even nailed ur own coffin by listing shabby achievements like reaching Q/finals thrice in the last 10 years and Losing to Galatasaray in 1999 European winners cup.
Why dont u gunners keep ur traps sealed and watch how great english clubs like Liverpool, Man Utd and upcoming Chelsea were able to evade the BIG-MATCH syndrome that arsenal haS.
I stated u played 2nd fiddle to chelsea cos they denied the Gunners the right to play in their "most-prized" S/Finals of 2003/04 UEFA and have been able to take maximum points of the Gunners this season plus they have now finished twice above the gunners in the league. Ain't that playing 2nd fiddle?

1999, Treble (FA,Premiership and UEFA champions league) plus Inter-continental club cup, No English club has been able to achieve this feat since then.
Not even the 49 unbeaten gunners.

2006, Carling cup

This is like 12 titles EXCLUDING FA charity shield in just 10 years. If u dont know,The carling cup was Fergie's 19th title in 19 years. The record speaks for itself. No BORING team wld have achieved this. This is not about LUCK, it is about the entertainments and excitements of the likes of the Coles,Beckhams,Yorkes,Keanes,Cantonas,Ronaldos,Nistelrooys and Scholes. I wont generalise the most exciting/entertaining team based on one season of unbeaten run. Arsenal fans have to scope wider than that.

Dre is a genius and he has worked with various talents ranging from Snoop Dogg,Eminem,Nas,AZ,etc. These rappers live off controversy and controversy sells. Eminem was doing that at a time too dissing almost everyone from Christina Aguilera to Will Smith and even his MUM. All these stuffs r market strategy. I think Wenger is luckless cos he has not been able to retain all the premiership titles he has won. Ferguson has done it. Mourinho will do it in a matter of weeks.
It beats me to see Wenger hasn't been able and can never do it. Unbeaten run does not make arsenal exciting. It only shows the weakness of the English Premiership. This will never happen in Spanish la liga and happened last in serie A in the golden days of Gullit,Rijkaard and Van Basten. Sometimes u gunners allow patriotism to becloud ur senses and talk lotta crap. Wenger is a good manager but he is not exceptional.

Manchester United's dominance in the 90's was accompanied by exciting and entertainment. Beckham,Giggs,Yorke and Andy Cole were the reason why so many people joined the ever-increasing army of fans that supports the team.
The same thing can be said abt Real Madrid cos they consistently won titles after titles with elegance and grace. They were exciting and entertaining. How can u compare Arsenal to teams like Valencia, AC Milan in the last decade. Arsenal cannot even be in my 1st 10 of the most entertaining teams in the last decade so Babywilms should bury his head in shame and join Eyimba FC-they were able to defend their CAF title(laughs)

I disagree with you. Every footballer has someone he loos up to. Okocha had the likes of Henry Nwosu and maybe Abedi Pele. Okocha at 19 is just an unserious player. He was not a team player and all he does was to showboat.
Mikel on the other hand links the play. He is not selfish and does not hold the ball unnecessarily. I dont think Okocha or even Kanu of today can pass the ball or deliver dead balls as much as Mikel. Mikel is gifted and he is the future of Nigerian football. Okocha's game changed after the '98 world cup. After 1998, he became more matured with less smiles after giving balls away. Have u forgotten Okocha wld have turned villain if Nigeria had lost to Brazil in atlanta 96? He was 23 then and his skills were mediocre.
Learn to appreciate. British eurosports and Skysports journalists cannot be wrong. Mikel is far better and by miles the most matured teenager Nigeria has ever produced. I will remind u in future when he gets crowned as Africa's best.

Besides,arsenal aint the most exciting in the last 10 years cos they only did dominate for a season(03/04). If u wanna be frank with ur opinion,u must look at the teams that dominated for more than 2 seasons. The likes of Real Madrid,Ajax and Man Utd were the only dominant force in those years and they play exciting football more than the gunners did in a season.

Why?

Eminem is a lyricist. He uses unique rapping styles to deliver his witty and sometimes disturbing lyrics and he just takes listeners along with his crazy acts.
A true talent and a living legend of Rap. Dont even make comparisons. Em can chop anything down with raw catapultic words and he is the only rapper that can murder anyone lyrically in the rap game right now. Too bad he is retiring.

50 should come second cos he brings series of untold street violence into records. He is tactful and delivers direct lyrics into ears of listeners combined with sleek hip-hop beats. He can be controversial cos controversy sells. Average rap fans wont buy records if 50 does not diss the likes of Fat Joe,Ja Rule and Irv Gotti. He is a good rapper and will come before Dre cos i doubt if Dre can match lyrical battle with this 2 of his disciples.

Dre is a producer/beat-maker. He is a rapper but not a lyricist. He has an uncanny ability to make dope beats and create sounds out of genuine creativity and sheer brilliance. One of the best in the rap world and will loc the spot for a long time. The fact that Dre discovered eminem does not make Dre a better rapper like some people have stated on this topic. Puffy found Biggie but is he better than Big? The relationship between Dre and Eminem is symbiotic. They kinda helped each other in achieving their dreams. Dre gave Eminem a life by signing the Detroit rapper on aftermath records in 1999 but how was Dre doing before he met the slimshady? I must say he was woeful! He was losing his ground gradually in the Rap game. He started The Firm Project which flopped but he took an expensive risk by signing a white dude and his dreams came true. Lots of white fans joined an army of Dr Dre's steadily growing fanbase and stacks of CREAM was made.
He unleashed Eminem in the spring of 1999 and later used Eminem's influence on his album(chronic 2) in the fall of the same year and what appears to be a gamble became Platinum selling albums and even Grammy awards in their Kitty.

I must say majority of the comments i have seen here are either biased or short-sighted. The most exciting and entertaining team in the last decade is Manchester United. The records speak for itself. This is the only team that has been able to achieve the treble status since the first division league became the PREMIERSHIP in 1992. The DOMINANCE has been unequalled till date. Man Utd was a team that wraps up premiership title as early as january/february and leaves other teams to pick up the scraps.

As for the Best Manager, i think Sir Alex Ferguson is the BEST. He has been able to develop local players like Beckham,Scholes,Neville Brothers and host of others into LEGENDS. He just clinched his 19th trophy in 19 years as a Man Utd manager and the hunger to achieve more is still his priority! I also consider him the BEST when it comes to getting results when all chips seems to be down. Who wld forget the Old Trafford Buffet in October 2004 against ARSENAL and CHELSEA'S downfall in November 2005? All odds were against SAF but he was still able to perform his mojo.

Some people say Wenger is better in developing players than Fergie but Wenger allows selfish interests to override his judgement all the time. Majority of Arsenal fans dont even know Wenger used kanu to develop his fellow countryman(Henry) into a superstar. He wld keep Kanu on the bench for 85-88 minutes before bringing him in to change matches while Henry was on the pitch playing. He was gradually building Henry and when Henry was fully-developed he dumped Kanu like a piece of trash.

Mourinho as we all knw has been working with finished products so it is difficult to judge him based on player developments. Some school of thoughts believe he is the best motivator of players but who wouldn't. Chelsea has abundance of quality players in their kitty. The amount of million pounds that warms the Chelsea bench every week will make a banker GREEN with envy. Mourinho has the right machinery working for him so he's got no choice but to be GOOD.

Sam Allardyce needs more years to contend with the above managers. He is in no category as them yet so i cannot even compare.

We are comparing okocha in 1993 and Mikel in 2006. How can u say Okocha was a better player in 1993 than Mikel? The truth is OKOCHA had no discipline in 1993 and he wasn't a team player. He was just a bundle of individual skills and has the ability to dribble and make fool of defenders.
Mikel on the other hand is too matured for the kind of skills and awareness he produces. I cannot believe any football fan wld think Jay-Jay in 1993 was a football player. He shld be playing in a circus cos all he cares about is to entertain.

This is a very difficult one. The most exciting football team in the world CURRENTLY is BARCELONA by miles. This is the only team that consistently entertain and excite football fans all over the world week in-week out!!!!!!!!. Ronaldinho and Messi on their own are a great football spectacle that put smiles on people's faces every match day.

I think ARSENAL plays wonderful football but they can be very inconsistent and sometimes unruly with their style of play. Barcelona is the only team out there that wins football matches convincingly. They take large amount of possession,free-kicks, higher shots on goal and the most outrageous football skills ever witnessed in the footballing world.

Manchester United as a team can also produce sublime and crisp football but they are always plagued with injuries every season which sometimes mar the performance of a team as a whole. I doubt if any team can match Man Utd's attacking supremacy and superiority if ALL the players are FIT to play!!!!!!!!!

CHELSEA on the other hand are very efficient with their approach of getting the job DONE but they are the most BORING team u will ever see on ur TV. The team's strength lies in their ability to lock the defence and their main PRIORITY is NOT TO CONCEED GOALS. The team gets the ball quickly to LAMPARD(Their best player) who throws a long ball forward for the strikers to knock in.


The best Manager amongst those 4 is unarguably SIR ALEX FERGUSON.
His ability to motivate and develop young players into legends is awesome. He is the only manager in the premiership that does not employ defensive tactics, His team always attack irrespective of which team they play.

Second on this list is Jose Mourinho. He is indeed the special one and can motivate players to bring their very best out on any matchday, He is hungry and his no nonsense approach is the fuel to the chelsea machine. A very clever manager but BORING tactics and sometimes off the pitch incidents are not doing his image any good. I think he is also fortunate to quickly build on Ranieri's team foundation. Essien is the only convincing buy he has made since joining chelsea. Robben,Lampard,Terry,Cech,Joe Cole,Duff and Crespo were all Ranieri's properties. Most of the players he bought were all mediocre. Kezman, Drogba, Thiago, Carvallho and even Maniche were sheer waste of money. Moreover,his recent dismal performance at the Nou camp is appaling. He needs to learn more to rank with the likes of Fabio Capello and Vincente Del Bosque.

Arsene Wenger is the 3rd best. No doubt,arsenal plays the most exciting football on their day. He has been able to mould his team like the Brazilians and the overall output is excellent. Wenger's weakness lies in the fact that he has no PLAN B. Tip-Tap football does not always work and Wenger is sometimes confused and he lacks the cutting edge to break teams down. Arsene only knows one way to attack and that is crisp ground passes. he rarely uses the wing or the long ball approach to WIN matches. For instance,i rarely see Ljunberg or Pires making crosses for Henry or Reyes to score. If he can perfect on this weakness, he cld be the best.

Teeroy,i completely agree with u if u say Mikel is better than Jay-Jay at 19. Jay-Jay at 19 was the most un-refined player and when he loses the ball,he does not try to win it back and he laughs it off which can only infuriate a manager. Westerhof never liked him and hence he pulled him out of Nations Cup final against Zambia in 1994. How do u explain that disgusting stunts he pulled in Germany when he dribbled defenders and held the ball for minutes without scoring? . It cld be funny but what if he hadn't scored? I have always appreciated players output than his input. For instance, Lets compare Lampard to Cristiano Ronaldo. Lampard has no visible skills,he cant dribble,run at defenders or do them leg-overs and flicks but his output(what he gives out) is awesome. Ronaldo on the other hand can do everything with the ball. He can flick,turn a defender inside out,flick upside down but his passes,crosses and shots are horrible.

Mikel Obi is the best passer of the ball Africa has ever produced. He has vision,awareness,natural ability and most importantly, COMPOSURE. Jose Mourinho saw this lad and thinks if he develops in this manner then he is RAW GOLD. I saw this guy at the youth championship last summer and at the ACN in Egypt and i was stunned with what he does.
