I knew this girl when she entered into the university of PortHarcourt newly. Her course of Major is economics. Her name is victory ( sure name withheld) but I called her Vicky. She used to be my school daughter. This is because, she looked up to me then. That time she was so gentle and innocent. Her eye-brows were lush, and nothing like fixing of eye lashes then. Many guys tried to come her way but, my presence scared them away. In fact! her mother used to call me to know what's up with her daughter's academic struggle. And now, after I have left the campus for years, she turned into another thing. I don't know if I am to call her a "real Uniport Girl " Yes! I said this cause I was disappointed the moment I saw this half naked picture of hers on her Facebook wall. Making everyone to see that! I guess you will not blame me for posting her pix here because, she had already don that on her face book wall. Tell me if any responsible girl could do this. May be I was wrong in what I am thinking but,the fact remains that such an action is bad. You can call it any name. But if you feel that nothing is wrong with the picture she sent on FB,then my bad! |

Little Calculus Puzzle For Students With Mathematical Minds. Since Buhari's government is under pressure, assuming P denotes pressure, and P = 1. Also, since Buhari's government is crumbling more and more given the situation of our economy, then we can say that Buhari's government is approaching to nothing, where N denotes nothing, and N = 0. If this is so: (1). Does it mean that Buhari 's government has no limit? (2). What would be the impact to the citizenry if such a negative economic situation of Nigeria becomes infinite( has no limit)? Profer your mathematical solutions to these questions. Let us share this to see if this bad shape of Nigerian economy has a limit or not.

JaredNormak:shut up! u stupid poor brat! if you don't know anything, ask Mumu. in the war, there was more civilian casualties in Biafra, but more military casualties in Nigeria. Google it if u want. The jet fighter drove by an Egyptian pilot was buy killing civilians that were harmless. But Biafran troops killed more federal troops relative to the troops Nigerian soldiers killed. go and Google it. meanwhile, u should hail us cause the "picnic " according to Gowon, was supposed to last for 3 days but, it lasted for three years despite the fact that they fought the war without armaments. let the war start now and Nigeria will be finished. why, now they have much money. thye have food. they have sophisticated arms. don't be sentimental people. praise them cause they are good. though I am not a briafran, but I lime what tbey are doing. Nigeria needs separation |

Point of correction! I am not here for any Internet scam! I am here to help! if you wish to enter into the unique versity of portharcourt, and you need assistance, the call me, or watsapp me period! |
chidi4eze:Among Nigeria Universities, NAU has been one of the verities that adheres to the academic calendar. They are so fast in learning. In fact! my mates in NAU graduated 2013 while i graduated 2014 at Uniport due to strike actions of ASUU. For such reasons, they all went for service before me. This is enough evidence to show that NAU is fast! Their Msc lasts for a year and six months for regular students. |
I graduated from the department of economics in the great and unique University of Port Harcourt. I am here to help a few people who wish to gain admission in any of the institutions in Nigeria. I shall do that by given a piece of advice to these few students seeking for admission. The conditions to gaining admission in any of the verities in Nigeria are so simple provided the prospective students are ready. Below are the two simple conditions. ## Passing Of Jamb: To be able to gain admission in any of our institutions, first of all, you must score, at least, 190 and above. To score this mark, you have to let go some certain things that take your time. You need to grab past Jamb questions and answers in the four subjects of your interest. Painstakingly study the past questions. Also, study your text books in each of the subjects you are to sit for. This way, you have an edge to others waiting to be helped by mercenaries amid Jamb exam. Score High In Post UME: Having scored like, 190,200,221,etc in Jamb, then do not jettison the past Jamb questions and answers you studied during Jamb preparation. in fact, if you wish to score very high that no good soul would deny you admission, study each of the past Jamb questions very well. Make it to be your food so as to understand each question well. in short, cram or keep on memorizing each subject you read for the day every time before reading another. This way, you will solve every question given to you during the post UME day. Reason! yes! I said so because I have experienced that! I wrote Jamb for four times before I finally break through. A friend of mine was the person who leaked this to me. I studied my Jamb past questions (covering years like,1978 and 2008) well. I wrote my Jamb, for the last time, and hit 221. I then continued my study of the past Jamb questions at my possession. Later, I scored highest in unizik post UME as my first choice, and highest in uniport post UME as my second choice. I got admitted in Unizik as my first choice, and uniport as my second choice. Imagine a federal school of such a high echelon taking a second choice. But such was so possible because of my high mark of 304 (the highest in economics department as well as social sciences) in the year,2009. I have to make a choice. As I chose uniport, according to a 21st century American economist, uniport is revealed preferred to unizik. This may be due to the fact that the later is inferior to the former,or that the later is dearer. in conclusion, do not yield to all these Internet scams; Nothing good comes from them. The so-called past questions for each school , in each of the subjects, are got from Jamb past questions therefore, grab your Jamb past questions to make a high score period! you can add me up in watsapp with this number especially if you need more assistance on how to make admission in uniport. |
I wish to do my masters at NAU,in Anmbra State. The last time I checked, I was told that the form will Soon be on sales. My major challenge is how to lay my hands on unizik past questions for post graduate studies exams. I heard that the cut-off mark for economics post graduate students is the highest in the versity. I have only seen the past question of that of last year, though I have only English. please if you also wish to seek for admission for SPGS at unizik, then we can share information here. |
thanks! if u have any questions, u can ask. |

Derivation Of Equation Which Depicts The Relationship Between A Monopolist Marginal Revenue And Price Elasticity Of Demand. In most of the text books, the proof for a monopolist marginal revenue seems too hard to understand by students of economics. This may be due to their way of explanation. In this write-up, I give a well explained means of proving such an equation, with the objective of Making economics students of various institutions happy. See the equation in the mathematical capsule 2.0. Mr = P( 1 - 1 / e) ................2.0 Here, Mr represents marginal revenue ; P represents price of a good ; e denotes elasticity of demand. Proof: Step 1 : we establish the revenue (total revenue) equation which is given as, Tr = Pq.............1 Here, Tr is total revenue ; P is price of a good ; q is quantity bought. Also, for a continuous function, elasticity of demand is given as, E = - (dp/dq) x (p/q)...........2 It is possible to create a proper linear equations by manipulating the equations given above. Step 2: Totally differentiate equation one. That is, differentiating the revenue equation with respect to quantity q. Thus we have, dTr / dq =( pdq/dq ) + ( qdp/dq ) dTr/dq = P + q( dp/dq) Recall! Marginal revenue is given as change in total revenue divided by change in quantity. So, for a continuous function, marginal revenue is the first derivative of a total revenue with respect to quantity. Thus, Mr = dTr / dq = Now, we replace dTr/dq with Mr. That is, Mr = P + q(dp/dq) Mr - q ( dp/dq) = P...........3 Here, P is treated as a constant ; (dp/dq) is treated as a variable with 'q' as its coefficient ; Mr is treated as a variable with a unity coefficient. Step 3: Take the reciprocal of equation 2. That's the elasticity equation. Thus we have, 1/e = - (dp/dq) x (q/p) Multiply by - p/q to have - P / eq = dp/dq dp / dq = - p / eq...........4 Here, dp / dq is a variable while -p / eq is a constant. At this point, it is very obvious that we have managed to form a proper first degree equation which is kept in a standard form. Since the equations are two, we can then apply any method of our choice such as substitution method, elimination method, etc. For me, I prefer matrix transformation. To do this, I create an augmented matrix,i.e, ( 1 -q) ( -p ).....R1 ( 0 1) ( - p/eq ).....R2 So, our aim is to transform the square regular matrix into a reduced row echelon form called a total triangular matrix. After I have derived such a matrix, I take the entries of the column matrix as the values of Mr and dp/dq. Now I start row reduction. Since the first entry of R2 is 0, and the second entry is one, then dp/dq is got already,i.e, dp/dq = - p / eq. But this value is ignored since it has no definition in economics. Now, make -q ( the second element of R1) zero. We can achieve this by multiplying R2 by q and adding the result to R1. That is, R1 + qR2 ( 1 0 ) ( p + (- pq /eq) ) ( 0 1 ) ( -p/eq ) At this point, the square matrix is in a reduced row echelon form by Gauss-Jordan method. The first entry of the column vector is now the value of Mr. That is, Mr = P - ( pq / eq) We cancel out q to have Mr = P - P/e We factor out P to have Mr = P ( 1 - 1 / e ) Q.E.D I know this helps!
