grin grin. U can as well do some research on it, u might come across an example.
A player's performance at international (country) level plays a vital role in his success. Take a look at Newcastle United's Cissoko, he wasn't valued at any reasonable amount b4 dis last Euro championships, his country gave him a chance and he made good use of it, he is now valued at around 35million Pounds now.
So u see, those players wouldn't want 2 blow their chances because of $5000 allowance dat is not paid for a lifetime opportunity. Mikel is the only established player among dem o, others are still struggling to find their feet. Only someone who doesn't know how this thing works would beg them not to boycott d match, let them boycott it and c what follows.
Humor me... I will do my research... Citing Cissoko is off point

Please are you really sure of this list cos this looks like the venues for waec marking and waec and Neco don't usually use the same marking venues....also last year's coordination for Neco took place at African church grammar school and not aggs and rev kuti.....please try to confirm this list.
Exactly... Neco uses Ondo Boys High School....not St. Joseph College... Thats for waec...

The system is faulty becos all of us are looking for formal jobs with tie and suits in cosy environment.

We are too lazy to think and to take action. We will move forward in Nigeria when we see our graduates (Bsc, Msc holders) moving to the informal sector and creating small businesses, setting up tomato farms ;setting up modern restaurants, setting up modern mechanics outfits etc etc etc

These small scale businesses is the engine room of any economy, that why your friend in the USA got three good offers.
Where is the Empowerment? How do i start a business without funds

give me a team that has boycotted a match and has gone scot free.
Well, lemme give u an example. In 2008, Zamfara United were 2 play Gateway FC of Abeokuta in Zamfara, d former Asst Coach of Zamfara was their coach (gateway fc) that tym. Zamfara United were owing their players like 5months salary + allowances, d visiting Coach capitalized on that, 2 of Zamfara United players were given an equivalent of 2months salary by Gateway United coach 2 fix d match, the players went on and missed one penalty each in that match, Zamfara United play draw in that match and discovered later in the night that those players were paid 2 do what dey did. Their contracts were terminated with immediate effect and their matter was reported 2d NFF, the players licence were seized and were relegated 2 playing Street football, that marked d end of their professional football careers.
Im not convinced... International example is what i need

you spend 5-7m on masters in a foreign university. It's either the school has a bad ranking or you came out with a bad certificate or you do not know the right place to search for job. That's why you can only be jobless still.
Dish out ideas pls... It might help him

Op's assertion is relative... Yes Masters increase your chance of getting a job...but in all cases as experience does... Im on my masters degree presently...and believe me...if i had a job at all (a well paying one) i wont think of masters now because im not convinced to come for it...i was only conditioned based on joblessness and i've someone that would sponsor.. Same with most of my colleagues and my lecturers even attested to that...
Lately...i got a job offer in an organization through connect...but the benchmark was a Masters Degree....i could not take the offer because im not done yet... Masters degree is relative...but i would advice people to gain experience first if they got a job and come for masters at ur own conviction... Only if you want to be an academics and got an age target for your qualifications..then Masters is your priority

and i repeat, if you threaten to boycott a match that 179 million poor nigerians watch to lift their spirits because they did not pay you some measly dollars ? than you are not patriotic. you are there not for the country but for yourself. politicians will be politicians but you are there for the people not the politicians. cant you see that ? or are you just blind ?
Im sorry i cant keep up with dis discussion anymore... Your arguments are way too shallow.... Politicians will remain politicians? Lool...at the expense of the populace.... Keep enjoying your subconscious mind

But it might also interest u that these players are only playing with their careers, if they boycott d match, d shame would b on Nigeria but their CVs are dented for the rest of their lives. Their club sides might even terminate their contracts. So it's just an empty threat.
Oh... Thats sounds interesting based on logic right? Sir/ma... Pls give me verifiable facts amd statistics about victims of such act...i dont deal with mere thoughts pls

Oh... You are just a sycophant or a cretin... Do you even know how to read and understand? Those guys said they will boycott a match owing to the failure of the govt paying their allowances... They had an agreement earlier...team Nigeria has fulfilled theirs...now the govt is playing politics... An agreement has been breached...those guys are not gullible.... people can lie for Africa grin. So u believe everything u see online, smh. 20,000 naira cannot even buy a pair of boot those boys used. In as much as the FG isn't doing too well in financing these teams, spreading erroneous things isn't d way out.
I remember in 2012 Olympic games, while African countries were promising millions of Naira for any medals won, USA told her athletes that $1 will not be given 2dem even if they win 200gold medals, it's a thing of pride to represent ur country. These guys are not patriotic.
It might interest you to know that an average American is patriotic owing to their History, Experience and Reality...they have a functioning and responsive government unlike here in Nigeria... Our govt is bad...and they dont care about us

Truth be told, nigeria is a poor country. for a country of 180 million people its poor. if the oil wealth was shared equally amongst everyone we will all starve to death because 180 million is a lot of people. what you have is the illusion of wealth when you see a few people sharing it and having lots so you tend to think its a rich country, but let me digress

there is this girl in USA, a nigerian rower, she is a very smart girl. she knows what she is doing. she did not involve nigeria in financing her olympics dream. she sourced the money all by herself not because she is a very patriotic woman. she is very smart. she knows going to the olympics will be the biggest advertisement she would need in her life and she will propel into wealth and fame from there. so she got her own sponsors privately. you see what i am saying ? thats a smart person who knows the benefit and privilege of being allowed to represent her country so much so that she chose to sponsor herself to do it. this is because she knows the benefits to herself after the olympics. IT IS A PRIVILEGE AND A HONOR TO BE ALLOWED TO REPRESENT YOUR COUNTRY AND YOU SHOULD DO THAT SHYTT FOR FREE IF YOU HAVE THE MEANS TO.
Oh... U said it all... Nigerian born in USA... Bro...our players knows well all the corrupt practices unfolding in the country... I cant be patriotic to a country who doesnt care about me nor fulfill her promises regarding social contract which entails security, welfarism, education, infrastructural development, good governance, job opportunities and the likes... Its impossible... That lady is actually being patriotic being a Nigerian in diaspora knowing fully well that all the stress down here aint her concern and not affected by it...hence she needs a name for herself and fame....

So since you said we can't start now we should let things continue the same way it has been sine independence abi? Now i agree with someone who say it's we the citizen who never want change or want things to get better in this country.. You talk about people demanding money before they give you job who have you report that same person to? If you give that person the said money they you are encouraging him to do more abi no be so?
Im sorry...i cant keep up with this discussion anymore.... U seem to be a stranger in the country... What was done to our senators who fought in the house..

So the indiscipline should continue? If you have to blame Govt for failing it's people then you start from blaming past administration.. If we have to curb indiscipline, we have to start from somewhere and the time to start is now.
Oga we cant start shit now... Since our independence...our emergent leaders has failed all through...just a pinch of difference amongst them... Let the govt fulfil their own part of the social contract first...the populace are alwats ready the comply... No wonder Dongara said Budget Padding aint corruption... Btw...what do you mean by indiscipline? Just imagine you being a graduate and without a job..yet a political office holder is demanding a sum of 500k from you to secure you a federal or civil service job...what level of indiscipline can be worse than that?

Loool... Your reasoning is kinda amazing to me... Do you know anything about the 'social contract'? You think anyone be discipline in Nigeria when the govt has failed its populace over and over... We shouldn't be talking about enforcing discipline on the citizen right now when the populace welfarism is in shamble...

I think its high time we started according difference between logic and spirituality.... Its has come to knowledge through my touch Medieval history and theocratic history that such accounts or events are not verifiable since God is the sole proprietorship of every cause.... Believe it or not....if u sought to keep asking questions about the spiritual realm you are just wasting your time because his deeds are unverifiable that is why he is God and responsibile for every actions of man... Believe whatever you seem to believe and stop questioning spirituality!

If we dont need a change in our attitudes then why is everything so scattered? We drive against traffic, throw litter in the drain and we turn round to blame govt for traffic, flooding and every other thing we caused.
We complain of bad leaders but still collect money to vote the same discredited politicians.
What problem do we have with being the change that we seek? Oh...its inconvenient? Anyone that is going the wrong way and does not want correction actually needs a leash!
Are you for real? Yes...the populace got their own flaw but the large part is on the part of our stupid and selfish leaders... You talked about collecting money from politicians... Yes the politicians drew the populace into penury thereby conditioning them be financially insecure and dependent on them...imagine a civil servant that has not be paid for 6 months...why would such reject money from a politician... Btw...either you vote for them or not....they know how to manipulate their way.... This is Nigeria... Nigeria is cursed... Pray for individual success and help those you can help..

If you dont understand stuffs...pls read up.... China revolution was successful owing to ISI - Import substitution industrialization... China didnt stop the import of manufactured goods just in a trance.... Local industries were built and when it got to the stage of maturity..import of unnecessary goods were stopped...and the population helped as regards market... In Nigeria...Nothing is. Being pit in place...our local industries aint even finctioning yet u wanna stop importation of basic goods consumed by the populace...
