Tolutweety please I am confused, can you explain well, is it for the 2015 Graduate Field Engineer position and how did he get to the interview stage?, was there a phone interview? Or video interview prior to this one, thanks

That's kind of hard to believe, if you don't have the required experience on your resume, I don't see how you will be called for an interview.
Except you trying to imply that they do not go through resumes, or the company like most of Nigeria companies is on a man-no-man basis, to get an invite.
Either ways, you are saying that BH is not a credible organisation, when it comes to recruitment.


Wireline is not something you can do a crash programme on, it's not your field. You're an electrical engineer with no experience in oil and gas, according to you, how on earth do you want to interview at a reputable organisation and not think

they will make you within 3seconds?

from previous comment by tolutweety, he said he has an insider, so maybe that's how he got lucky to interview for an experience position,or tolutweety speak forr yourself..

That's not to discourage anyone from taking up such responsibilities but there might be more to it than just that.

You'd expect that in an interview consisting of closely and almost equally qualified folks, the selection yardstick will be dynamic and not totally predictable.

So...

Sorry bro, but one thing though, you being the time keeper and the one that wrote on the board at thesame time means you may not have contributed much to the debate because those 2 roles are for 2 different people whom must also contribute to the debate, yes the yardstick is dynamic, but one thing I know is they prefer evenly shared delegated roles and not one person trying to do everything

The qualities are intertwined and no correct answer e.g, result oriented, integrity, able to withstand pressure, highly motivated etc, infact all the qualities of a leader, the most important thing you should bear in mind is, 1. Be able to speak up and let your voice be heard, 2. In the group work, when you give a suggestion back it up with a cogent reason, even if it's not acknowledged by the group, don't worry one of the panelist might like what you said, 3. Do not speak negatively of any of your group members and be honest in responding to questions like nominate so so number of people that should be or not be given an offer especially according to performance and lastly, try to be either the group leader, time keeper or the one that writes on the board...

I don't know how long you have been searching for one, but I just want to share with you some tips
1. Trust in God
2. You have to most importantly be proactive
3. Increase your network with people, information most times is just what we need
4. Try to be patient and persevere, believe me you won't be far from your employment letter

Don't call the number there, just go through their website and call any of their Nigerian contact numbers from their website, if it's for real, they will confirm it!
