@OP you should have added that the offer is strctly for whitelisted customers and not for everyone. Let's do things the right way. I'm a Team Lead in one of the call centers and such incomplete information can really cause issues when our customers call 111. Peeps, note that the offer is for the whitelisted. |
As controversial as TB Joshua is, he remains the simplest of them all. If we all stop giving to churches and pastors, they will be poor. They should stopping bragging with monies gotten from thousands as donations. Na our money!! |
Now I can sing 'Nigeeeria we hail thee....' In Otondo's voice. This is a very encouraging acceptance by the entire world. Despite our porous borders, we still contained that terrible plague. When Nigerians are united disceases and Terror gets defeated. #TeamNewNigeria. |

05 Oct 2012 Views: 2,753 Font Size: a / A Airtel logo Emma Okonji, with agency reports A Lagos High Court Thursday dismissed an application by Bharti Airtel to set aside an award made by an international commercial arbitration tribunal in favour of Econet Wireless. The judgment may have paved the way for the matter to be referred back to the international tribunal to set the quantum of damages and compensation that Bharti must pay to Econet Wireless. In the court papers, Econet said it is submitting a claim valued in excess of $3 billion. The international tribunal (comprising senior Nigerian and English lawyers) found multiple breaches of a shareholders’ agreement by both the selling shareholders and Celtel Nigeria, now Bharti Airtel Nigeria, ordering them to pay damages/equitable compensation to Econet (in an amount to be determined in a further round of the arbitration). The ruling said that the purchase of a 65 per cent shareholding in Nigeria’s second largest cell phone company, by Celtel, was violated the pre-emption rights of existing shareholder, Econet Wireless. Celtel’s parent company, Zain of Kuwait later sold the controlling stake to Bharti Airtel, the Indian telecoms operator. The international tribunal’s award was handed down in December last year. In an extensive judgment, the Lagos High Court found that the international tribunal had been correctly constituted, had jurisdiction and acted correctly on all accounts. It would be recalled that a Federal High Court had ordered Bharti Airtel, to revert to its former name, Econet Wireless Limited. The court also ordered the Bharti Airtel to reinstate Econet Wireless’s five per cent shareholding in Airtel Nigeria. Econet Wireless, an early investor in the company, is an international company domiciled in the United Kingdom. The company had opposed Zain’s decision to sell the Nigerian business to Bharti Airtel, claiming its right of first refusal. Zain, however, went ahead to sell its African mobile business including Nigeria to Bharti in 2010 for $10.7 billion. According to the summary of the judgment delivered by the Justice Mohammed Shuaib, Econet is a shareholder of Bharti Airtel Nigeria Limited and holds five per cent of the issued shares of the company. The court, therefore, ordered that all actions, and resolutions taken by the company, since October 2003, at which Econet was entitled to be notified, and to participate in, as a shareholder, but was prohibited, were null and void. This, according to the court, includes decisions to sell shares, issue shares and transfer shares to third parties. The court also ordered the Corporate Affairs Commission to cancel any certificate previously issued for the company’s change of the name of the company and restore its name to Econet Wireless Nigeria Limited. source: http://www.thisdayonline.com/ Readers, having read this article i can only describe airtel's stand in the telecoms market in one word 'Crumbling' What do you say guys? |

Hi Guys I use mitsubishi Galant v6 24v 2001 and it doesnt consume fuel at all. I travelled from Akure to Lagos and I used 38 litres of fuel. The comsumption depends on the make of the car really. For instance BMW v6 whichever year consumes more than mitsubishi v6 whichever year. Also, changing the engine entirely is the best. For our mechanics, they can't handle V6 except you take it to the car manufacturer place most of which we dont have available/cheap. For me I travel a lot so I prefer v6 engines anytime. The last time I went to Ibadan,I spent 50 minutes from berger to Ibadan. It would have been lesser but you know our bad road. V6 engines are rugged and they last well. But be dutiful and serious with the servicing. The gear if it is auto, the engine (buy good oil filter #1500 and above) Use a steady Oil Mobil preferably. Do not do funny conversions on your engine If you do not get an electronic part of your engine, park the car until you get one. Have a steady mechanic and a good one pls. Follow the history of you repairs. Do this and you will enjoy any V6 turbo engine. Enjoy guys!!!!
