Those were IPOB faithfuls not "Igbos". Moreover you will not read anywhere that his supporters were attacked by There host community. What happened in Lagos was wide spread and planned. But don't fear nobody hates the Yorubas... Yorubas are great and wonderful people. Nigerians have always known their weakness for ethnic biases only that this time around they went overboard with it.

I just researched online and saw that the coffee gotten from a civet poop are very expensive and a civet is a hot cake in some countries. That is what another person is using as bush meat all because of hunger. See life
It's not as simple as that. Even if he captures the animal alive he won't be able to export it as that is prohibited in Nigeria. And there are no coffee beans for it to feed on here. And don't ask him to put it on display and make money from that ...

The Yoruba Nation hasn't been paying attention and I think it's our one weakness as a people.
We need to be very thankful to Olódùmarè for his mercies and to our ancestors who didn't break faith with us as we foolishly did with them.
It is too bad.
We proudly [ FOOLISHLY ] call ourselves liberals and we are ready to accommodate anything, even those things that openly hurts us and threatens our very existence.
A current example which we accepted is the Peter Obi's cleverly packaged saint-image which tried to bamboozle us into a grand Zionists agenda.

This argument is baseless. As a Nigerian, Chinedu (or whoever he may be) has the right to run for an elected position in any state within Nigeria that he considers to be his state of origin. Mathew Ashimolowo wrote a book, "What is wrong with being black?", what happened in Lagos these past days is one of the answers to this agelong question.

I understand what the white woman is saying.

How Elections were held in Nigeria Prior to this moment, nobody would even have evidences to present as electoral malpractice.

That candidates will have a case today in court is because of the emergence of BVAS.

Before, where will you even start?

We have improved, but We have not gotten there yet, there is still room for improvement.

But truth be told, the last election was marred with many irregularities.
Dear friend, don't be quick to side with the Briton...she could be bias and of course, she is representing the interest of her home country.

APGA is fast loosing direction because of cheap support that accrued to the party.

LP is an important reset button.
And the reset button is very accessible.
You can't be more right. Look at what happened in Abia, they didn't win a single HOA seat. Despite having a great candidate in Prof. Greg, yet APGA was no where to be found.

Not bad for LP considering how entrenched PDP is in Abia state. I see YPP becoming a strong force in Abia in years to come. APGA is no where to be found huh

In my opinion I don’t think thread like this should be posted on this forum, you know it’ll trigger a lot of things. It’s time to preach peaceful coexistence, elections are over let us move on and hope for a better Nigeria with Asiwaju. Be mindful of your posts in this delicate period, opposition are already embracing peace gradually.
You can say that because you are not a victim or the victim. Someone is currently been detained unjustly and you are asking for the issue to be swept under the carpet? Don't worry friend, what goes around comes around.

Sometimes reason before you speak and you think labor party will hold the momentum till next election? Sometimes people like you guys makes it hard to defend obi, logic isn't part of the thinking process. You think these corrupt APC will just let power go to obi like that? A party in power? You all act as if you don't live in Nigeria, the fantasies is clearing from our eyes. These demonic APC will now have leverage to destroy labor party from within. You think it's every aspirants that have obi's thinking logic? Obi is just a man, and he fades out of the political arena what's next?
Nigeria is the better for it because Obi contested under the Labor party. Labor party's emergence has opened up the Nigerian political landscape...it has shown the average Nigerian that change is possible if the masses rise up. It has shown some of those old politicians that power lies with the people and the people are not to be toyed with perpetually. Also, it has shown us how far the politicians will go to remain in power. Even if Peter Obi decided to retire politically, some other person will rise up to take his place. And this time around it may be from some other part of Nigeria. What we want is positive change in Nigeria irrespective of where it came from. If Obi had stepped down for Atiku it would have been business as usual for all.

Even if G5 had supported Atiku, he would still have lost SE, SS and NC.

If Obi had not contested Atiku would have won with a landslide, G5 or no G5.

That's the truth Oga.

Note that no one is saying that Obi didn't have a right to contest.

But why I am saying that Obi affected Atiku is because Obi came out of the same PDP to contest.
You guys always want the Igbos to play second fiddle...why didn't Atiku allow Obi to run on the PDP platform if he loves the Igbos so much? I am glad for what Obi did, at least PDP as it were has lost momentum in Nigeria.

You see why Nigeria will hardly be a better place. How will someone in his right senses vote for party instead of Candidate. I still don't get it. 2015 I voted for APC in presidential, PDP senate ,Apga HOA, Apga governorship and PDP SHOA
2023 I voted LP for president, Senate, State House, APC for Governorship.

It's high time we start voting in leaders base on capacity rather than Party. Who party help abeg
I totally agree with you. Nigerian political parties have no ideology, if I may say. So voting blindly based on party line is counterproductive. But you see, in 2023 elections, LP fortunately has an array of new and seemly untainted politicians in it's fold. So that was Why it seems that the people of the old Eastern Nigeria, who have experienced bad governance for years easily identified with LP.

Good for the Igbos. At least they are liberated from the bondages of those old thieving, underperforming and diabolical politicians. If this repeat itself in the next elections cycle most of those evil politicians would have been retired and the SE would be the better for it. So friend, go ahead and keep voting them in in your region, in order to spite the igbos grin

This is an old news, something GEJ said 2 years ago.

But mischievous APC media in their desperation are pushing it forward look like he said it in consent to this obviously rigged election, suggesting that the stolen mandate should be left for them.

Even with that...the obvious interpretation is that votes should be made to count.
