Chief Mayo quickly rushed into the hospital.... To the emergency room Odumodu has been rushed to......
He quickly open the door when he found it... His heart sanked when he saw him lying down on the bed helplessly... Unconcious... The doctor and nurses during their best to revive him........

After several attempts ... They manage to revive him but he was weak.... His head bleeding profusely.... Legs scrap.....

Chief Mayo watched wondering what could have caused the accident.... He has rushed down to the hospital the moment he heard the news..... Someone had called him......

They treated the wound and they excused him with him....

When they were all gone from the room.. He trot towards him.....

Odumodu blink... He sneer at the pains he was feeling... He grimaced.....

"Why didn't you allow your driver to drive you.....? Chief Mayo ask....

Head spinning.... Odumodu began to recall all that has happened..... Pious.... He turn to face Chief Mayo... He try to muttered words but words failed him....

"No no... Don't say anything.. The doctor said you need to rest..... "

"No.... "He muttered faintly...... "He.is......."He cough..... Blood began to gush out from his mouth...

"What's happening to you.... You need to rest....

The door cranked open...

His heart raced at tremendous speed as he saw him....

"Am glad you came mr Carter..... "Chief Mayo said...

"How is he doing.....? Pious ask....

Odumodu couldn't breathe.... Heart pounding hard... The EKG heart machine started beeping.....
Slowly he raise his finger at him....

The machine beep faster as his pulse began to lower... his heartbeat reducing....

"Doctor..... "Chief Mayo shouted running outside.......

"Y.. O... U......... "Odumodu said with pants breathe then his fingers drop to the bed....

The doctor and nurses came rushing in......

He started to fade.. His heart beating faintly.. The machine beeping faster....

"We're loosing him...... "The doctor said and quickly pick up the defibrilator....

With a slow pace.. They placed it on his chest and he jerked up from the bed.. His body collapsing back.....

The faint heart beat stopped as the machine stopped beeping.....slowly.... He faded away.... Finally given up the ghost

With a woebegone face the doctor turn to face Chief Mayo...

"What is it.. Is he going to be okay.....?

"We tried our best...... We lost him.... "....

Anger licking through him.... Pious glared at his lifeless body as it was covered...... a wry smile made it's way into his lips......then he muttered silently.... "You see that father.... That's one down"

Good morning Silver. I was introduced to nairaland some months back, although hav heard alot about it b4 then, I didn't really check it out until that day; and few weeks later, I stumbled across 2 Literatures- The Enemy Within by Madera and King (Where Evil Men Dwell, Bad Things follow) by silver1996. The former has been concluded while the latter as we all know is still hot. Yesterday I finally signed up so I could comment. This is my comment without being bias or blowing ur trumphet, ur story telling-skills is comparable to that of the writers of Game of Thrones. In other words, it's World Class not amateur or semi-pro or pro but World class or Legendary...lol. The story is a tale of mystery and suspense. The way u describe sexual scenes bro, it's out of this world.(lol)... I didn't have to think hard to get the picture of the characters (not the sex scene o). It's like am watching a movie in 3D. The way u twist the story line is magnificent. Someone once said here that it's "a Superstory drama", the person is damn right. You are good brother!
You are one of the reasons I log onto nairaland.com every night. I know someday, the World will celebrate u if u keep it up and may Almighty God continue to shower u with more wisdom to live a fulfilling life and to keep coming up with beautiful stories... Thank u!!!

you are right,the story is more like game of throne, the story line, the twist, you can't predict what happens next or who dies next, silver doesn't hesitate before he kills both the good and bad people


i remembered when Rick Died, it wasn't a dead i was expecting, i was like so silver really kill this guy after all the fight he went through to get Claude back but now it's beginning to make sense, Rick has to get out of the for Claude to focus since she was the only one who saw the chiefs when they killed king Godfrey

For a moment, Vuga stood in front of the door.. Weighing all the pros and cons on how he is going to tell her how he truly feels.... He took a deep breathe and convince himself he can do it..

He was about to knock then he stood again thinking of the embarrassment he will face if she rejects him..... He took a deep drag... Manup and knocked on the door......

Shock engulf him when the door flung open... He didn't expect her to open so soon.....
"Hey... "He muttered with clenched teeth...

"Hey... How was the festival... ?Adesa ask...

"We.... Still on it.... Can i come in... "

"Sure... "She said paving way for him to go in...

With pounding heart... He try to remember what he has memorised to tell her.... He frowned when he couldn't put the words together.....
"My father have agreed to let go of the goldmine.... "He boom out..

"That's great news... The princess will be coming home soon... "Adesa said with joy...

"Precisely tomorrow morning. When my Father sign over ownership to King Jafar at the boundary..... "

"How is your father feeling....? She ask this time more gentle in her voice....

"Adesa... "He muttered walking close to her but then she shift aback.. Away from him just then he knew he has made a great mistake one that was going to hunt him....

"I... I.... "She stammered.. Her tongue roving on her mouth.... "Vuga.... Myy prince.. You.... "

Vuga heart sanked... He is a prince.. She is a maid.. The feeling can never be mutual.... He felt like punching something.. A wall perhaps for opening up to her like that.. Now she will be scared of him...... "I understand.... "He muttered with clenched teeth....
Slowly he began to walk to the door.. Heart sticking... Fingers propelled against each other... Hands clenching... His inner mind screaming at him for been so foolish, for listening to his brother instead of himself...

"Vuga.... "

He stood when her voice came up again.. He couldn't turn to face her.. He was embarrassed enough....

"Vuga... "

He took a deep drag... Her melody sugar voice echoing in his head.... Just then he felt a hand pull him around... It was her.. Her hands on his.. Their eyes staring at each other...

His heart sanked when he saw the tears in her eyes... He wanted to talk but no words came out then the unexpectable happened.. He didn't know what pushed him but he did... He quickly kiss her.... Gently.. Her hands still on his...

He realise the stupid thing he just did when she pushed him away... Pulling him from the kiss... Tears flowing slowly from her eyes....

He was inclined to walk away but her hands was still in his.. She wasn't letting him go.. "I.. I....

She cut him short as she set her mouth on his.....
Not believing what was happening... He kissed her back......

He moves his head closer to her. His heart frozen , from both fear and excitement...they kissed deeper and close their eyes.

He kissedher deeper, their tongues roved on each others mouth.. the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. His hand rested below her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek as their breaths mingled.

She ran her fingers down his spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them and she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest.......

it look like Francis is special here,and here i am thinking he is the most stupid person in the story, i haven't seen someone that will go against his friends warnings,going to a rescue mission with nothing, he says it's love, love kill him dia,the guards didn't beat him well, let them knock sense into him, anyhow boy
let him die, Pious will continue the race, after all everybody thinks he is dead
