Tyrexx:Greetings people. Sorry i am just responding to this. I have been on transit the last two days. Just arrived and its good to know that most of ur querries to me have been handled already. As for my timeline/experience, i believe i shared this in here (some pages back), but i will repeat for benefit of those that do not have time to go back. Application received at CIC Novia Scotia - 30th April 2014. Credit card charged - May 2014 PER mail - 5th June 2014 Additional Documents/Medical Request -28th October 2014 Medicals done - 30th October 2014 Additional doc received - 13th November 2014 Passport Request - 26th November 2014 The experience has been great (ofcourse it could not have been without everyone in this great house- special thanks to all the seniors). My candid advice to everyone still in this process; PLEASE learn to wear the garment of patience and always ask when not sure! Also learn to be meticulous and pay serious attention to details to avoid mistakes. Check, double check and tripple check!!! |
damkollins:Thanks Damkollins. You guys have been brilliant! |
HenryIX:Many thanks HenryIX. |
Greetings wonderful people. I see we are gradually getting there with all the good news on PER, CC, MR, PPR and CoPR. I pray we all get to the finish line in spectacular fashion in Jesus name. Amen. I would like to use this time to announce to the house the arrival of my PPR. Please join me in thanking God. He is wonderful! A quick question please; in the PPR i got this message- "☐ Updated family information: you must advise us of any change in your marital status or family composition. All family members must be listed on your IMM8 application form.Failure to comply may result in a delay in the issuance of your visa." The true interpretation is what i am seeking. I believe they are just asking me to send the "Generic Application Form IMM008ENU" which i filled during the initial application with or without any new updates along with the passports. Please seniors advise is needed urgently! Thanks. |
gentleiphy:RPRF: Pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee. For current fees and methods of payment, please see:http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/ghana/visas/fees-frais.aspx?view=d The above was part of the mail i received. And if you go to the link you will see a more detailed instructions on payments. However i do not know if it applies to other fees. Just check the link and see how it applies to your case! Good luck. |
solomonwis:Many thanks Solomonwis. I have the same feeling too. I had a hard thought over this. |
AceOak:I am not sure what you are paying for but i believe USD draft is also acceptable. If that is the case, then go to UBA (marina branch) and raise your draft as long as you have a dom account with them. You should get it in 24 hours. I rasied my USD there for RPRF. |
Adanora:Yes. I am 2013/2014 applicant. My application was received 30th April 2014. Please seniors; Solomonwis, Damkollins et al kindly do justice to my earlier querry. Thanks. |
Happy Sunday wonderful people. Its good to know that AVO is fired up now. Wish everyone here successful application. Please seniors and everyone in the house, i need your input on this dilemma. On the Schedule A form, question no. 6, sub-sectcion d; i answered yes during my initial submission to CIC. The details provided for the "yes" was that;- My spouse was refused US visitor visa in 2012 and was told she was not eligible to apply at this time. She was asked to apply after some time. The issue now is, since i was also asked to update the Schedule A form in the MR mail, is it necessary to give further details like; I have also been refused visitor visa in 2011 because i did not go to the visa interview with the receipt for my child's delivery in the US. I was requested to come back with the receipt. The receipt was presented in 2012 and i was granted US visiting visa (2 years multiple entry) in 2012. I initially did not include this details about myself since i have been granted visa after the said refusal. Pleassssssse house what do you guys think? Should i just leave it as it is with just the detail about my spouse. Or should i include my details as above? Thanks for your thoughts! |
Good afternoon people! I see AVO seem to have engaged their V8 engine lately. Thats good to see though, so we can end this endless wait and expectations! Please forumites, i have a quick question. Does anyone know the approximate timeline between the time you respond to AVO with your Medical details, PCC etc and their next communication with you? I guess the next thing if all goes well will be request for visa/PR interview? Solomonwis, Damkolins and the entire house please help. Very many thanks to you all for the great job here! |
solomonwis:Thanks Solomomwis. Exactly my thoughts too! I will just keep as simple as it has been. Many thanks. |
Happy Sunday people! Experts please advice. I have been re-assigned to different country outside Nigeria on rotational basis (6x3) in the same role and within the same company. My question is; Is it necessary to inform Accra visa office about this change as an additional information? I am hesitant to do this since it is on rotational basis, doing the same job and still working for the same company. Please share your thoughts/advice. Many thanks for the excellent support you guys are delivering here. |
scrollmeout:House, this is a serious issue! This will stall (atleast temporarily) a lot of processing/early submissions. Please does anyone know if any other bank in Nigerian can raise CAD draft and if such bank draft is acceptable by Accra visa office? Please share if you know. Thanks. |
damkollins:Many thanks Damkolins. Please one more question. Can anyone pls confirm that myself and spouse need to do the PCC. Thanks for your assistance. |
Good morning great people! I happily anounce the receipt of my MR from Accra yesterday. I will breakdown my timeline here so the house/others can better estimate their expectations; 30th April 2014 - Application received (2013/2014 -last day) 28th May 2014 - Credit card debited 5th June 2014 - PER recieved 28th Oct 2014 - MR received from Accra. Damkolins/Solomonwise et al, please i have a few questions for clarification; 1. I was not sent any medical form by Accra (only directed me to a link for forms). Do i need to fill a form or the selected panel physician provides me with one at the hospital. 2. In the MR letter, it was not expressly stated if the principal applicant and the spouse only should pay for the RPRF fees or the children are included. However, in the fee breakdown table, there was no fee (amount) specified for children under 15 years. 3. Police Certificate; Is it possible to obtain the police clearance certificate from Force C.I.D Annex at Alagbon close Ikoyi in one day? 4. What is the possibility of obtaining a Bank draft in a day in any of our Nigerian banks (GTB, UBA etc) for RPRF fees? 5. What medical examinations is one expected to undergo? Is the panel physician able to tell you what tests to undergo? I plan to have mine done in PH. Thanks. Expecting your quick guides! |
Good morning house! Pls i asked this question earlier but got no response. Please would anyone in the know what the implication/s of applying on the Federal Skilled Trade stream (using an agent this time) after receiving a positive PER on the FSWP (2013/14) is/are? Thanks for sharing knowledge! |
Wonderful house, please i need some clarification on the FSWP. What is the possibility of having your file (that has already been transferred to Accra from CIC after positive PER) transferred to another visa office eg USA, if you relocated to this new location. Do i have to make this request for transfer myself or they will initiate the transfer once they are notified of the relocation. Many thanks for your help. |
Ferdimako, Could you also Pleasssssse kindly send "BOMB" to me on amadisylvanus@yahoo.com Many thanks! |
