kITATITA: You'll never get to your destination if you stop to throw stones at every dog that barks. Besides, he's got Okupe, Maku, Abati, NTA, etc speaking for him.EXACTLY |
alistrong: V got a female friend who already spent almost two symesters in the school, now two of her male lecturers, taking core course in her department were after her (trying to have affairs with her)......need your advise please.A student goes to school along other students, say about 50 other students in the department. Goes for lecture on time and not coming in late to the class to be personally noticed by the students or lecturer in the class. Summit her assignment along another students without going alone to his office to summit hers. Doesn't have personal case to make her go into her lecturer's office alone. She does everything right on time and in d right way. Read her book and pass her exams without going to ask the lecturer for extra mark. Please tell me how a lecturer will notice the student and have personal and dirty interest and feelings for her if not unnecessary show off. Girls should stop all unnecessary show off in the class. The can only attract the interest of those lecturers with no self respect. Do the right thing at the right time with other students and graduate with no insult and disrespect from the lecturers. |
Our Nigerian policemen would rather need the google glasses that will screen through drivers and passengers wallet to know how much to "obtain" from them. Sad. |
Is this really True? Who do i ask? |

These children should better not start what they can't finish! |

Many are confirming even without reading. Lol. |
ITbomb: Yea, we started the school, way back '94Oh! That means, you be big Oga by now. That's my cousin's set too if i've not mistaken... Weldone sir. |
ITbomb: You Winit's been a long time. I know you to be an ex student of St. Paul's Academic, Ikot Ekpene. Are you from Ik too? |
ITbomb: Believe me, I'm trying my very best not to turn this into an Internet argument butYou're right there. But if you're a catholic, you may have to accept it that way. Glory be to God is translated as Itoro enyene Abasi in the church. My little niece whose name is Itoro can never agree with them that her name is translated as Glory. I guess your name is Itoro. Lol. |
ITbomb: @OP, point of correctionThese are mere literal meanings anyway. Owing to Glory be to God being translated to Itoro enyene Abasi. Though there's been that argument on ground already. It can as well be praise God, that's Itoro Obong. Then, Isobara though the bearers of the name are from my place, I don't really know what it means. Many have traced the name to the history of the first man that answered the name not to be from our tribe. So I think that's just it. Its the accountant general's family that is bearing that isobara of a name. |
Uyai Abasi ... God's beauty Ekpeno ... Who would have given me? Erinyaga ... Salvation Ifiok ... Wisdom Ini Obong ... God's time Idopise ... Watch with Silence Ekemini ... Due time or Right time Eseme ... Lamentation Akaninyene ... Beyond Wealth |
Epathra: Plz what does Ifreke Abasi and wanfom means? Dunno if I spelt correctly thoOh that's a very nice name there. You got the spelling right and it means "won't forget God" Another version of it is Mfreke Abasi meaning "I won't forget God". And Kufre Abasi which means "Forget not God" |
Darteyyyy: Lmao..... As in...Lol... I'm very sure you can't even pronounce it right. I won't stop laughing if i hear the pronunciation from you. |

Father's mum(when the first daughter resembles her dad's mum) More coming ... |
Darteyyyy: @slylg.... If you're efik and you know it..... Marry me na..... Or your younger or older sister, I no mind.I wouldn't want my first child to be named Idongesit. It means comforter or Consolation. Because i don't want a situation where my child will come as a comfort or consolation. I want my children to come at the right time. Some people just name their children without looking into the deep meaning of the name. |
Funjosh: I would love it to be Obong FunjoshWell, that will have a different meaning entirely. It will now mean Chief Funjosh! Obong is also a title in Efik. Like the Obong or Edidem(king) of Calabar. |
Funjosh: So Obong means GodYea ... Obong and Abasi means God in Efik. "Funjosh Obong" can be a nice combination. How about that? Lol. |
And i ask you in return, who is engaging the guy? Who is giving him the engagement ring? He engaged his wife to be, so let him wait for the wedding ring. It will look too odd for him to wear an engagement ring though. |

eleojo23: Who provides the pipe borne water?my dear, ask me o. |
I'm still contemplating if to like it or not... |
Only in Makoko... But never in banana Island. |
It would have been more fun if it's kids that are displaying the different styles themselves. It looks more like exercise than punishment to me. It's doesn't look funny too. Just my own opinion. |
