Education › Re: Greedy Nigerian Professors And Their Fat Salaries by Slynation(m): 10:44pm On Oct 14, 2020 |
swiz123: OP should go and sit down.
compare the salary of a lecturer and that of a grade 12 civil servant and see who should be going on endless strikes.
Or is it news that these lecturers sell poorly written handouts, charge money for grades and also teach in different universities. Ask a grade 12 civil servant to choose between his job and a lecturing job and see for yourself....
So, because Uganda is paying millions to lecturers per month ( which by the way is unverified ) , Nigeria should also pay the same. Are our lecturers and professors spending their salary in Uganda? Whatever happened to salary scale in civil service.
When ASUU fight their members who charge money for grades, sex for grades and other appalling irregularities in our universities, I will take them seriously. So after reading OP's post... This hokum emanated from your cranium?? Simply shows sense is very far away from you.... Ignorance is truly a disease |

Rugaria: If the north leads the so-called restructuring process to fit their grand design again, the rest of the country should object. What I have learnt from all that is going on is that the socalled north gets away with all sorts of evil , simply because the rest of the country is docile. The lopsided state and local government structures in place today were all whimsically designed by northern army officers to favour the north to the detriment of the southern part of the country especially the east. They have more states, more local governments, more allocations, more senators, more....., it's endless ! Now, they are fearful that after Buhari, with the trends of political events, a real restructuring might happen, and they want to quickly effect changes to guarantee nothern domination for another century. This is wrong! It's either everybody is treated equally going forward, or the whole country should expire.. Too much sense in your write ups.... Thumbs up bro!! |

GOTVee:
Even though I'm a born again Christian, I'm very sad about the insecurity the disbandment of SARS will resort to. Majority of we southern Christians that spearheaded the end SARS campaign seems to be ungrateful of the hard works of the security agents down south. These are guys who are willing to lay down their lives to confront Armed robbers, kidnappers and other violent criminals yet we keep protesting for their ban because we sleep in peace.
Unlike our northern Muslim brothers who have been unfortunate to witness banditry, terrorism and massive kidnapping we are enjoying down south yet we clamour for end SARS because of the actions of few bad officers. Even American police have bad officers but are Americans calling for their ban? I'm so disappointed in the actions of we Christians. May God forgive us for we don't seem to know what we are doing Abeg close your mouth....!! You know nothing |

TThhoorr: Can someone explain to me whether the protest is against ASUU or the FG because logically speaking ASUU is the only functioning educational body which is still strong and able to strand up to this hypocritical Democratic government since 1990s apparently you guys failed to realize that the government only understands strike as the language that calls for attention because its bad for politics apart from our tertiary institutions the primary and secondary school educational level in this country are all in a state of decay some schools doesn't have even a single desk for students or other materials that are the duty of the government both state and federal to provide the only thing that made our universities to be different is because of ASUU of which of it fails in its duty the universities will also be like the rest simply saying if you can't support b them don't add insult to their injuries for the sake of others Hmmmm.... ThompsonJoo: If you put SARS and Yahoo in the same sentence, I see you as an intellectually dumb person tbh. You've seen over 2000 videos of police brutality and harrasment, how many videos have you seen of SARS doing their real job? How many times have SARS actually intercepted a kidnapping or challenged armed robbers. It is a special anti robbery squad ffs.. They should operate like SWAT, GIGN, etc.
Nobody is saying End EFCC! You people just go to school but you actually don't think.
In saner climes, you monitor Cyber Space, track a fraudster and arrest him and charge him to court. How many Yahoo boys have SARS charged to court? Can they even? That's not their jurisdiction. They just collect bribe and the Yahoo boy goes back to the street. How does that solve shit? This is not a fight for Yahoo boys, it is a fight for humanity. If we actually want to fight Cyber crime, we would step up cyber surveillance by EFCC..
Some of you just come online but leave your brain offline! On point..... One cannot even keep beards in this country peacefully anymore |
