The matter is tiring... Nothing is actually working in this country. Doctors and nurses will see someone dying and gushing out blood yet they will be requesting for one useless police report before treatment. What happened to safety or life first, sometimes I sit and watch back how and why I came into this life as a Nigerian where nothing is actually working...

I was once a victim of an attack on the road in 1998 and my father rushed me to a private hospital.

I can recall the doctor was making some demands before he could commence treatment while I was losing blood.

My father quickly rushed me to another facility and from there an emergency doctor was summoned and the hospital services were activated to attend to me.

I survived that experience because we did not allow the system to decide my fate.

I believe if she was immediately rushed to a private facility, she possibly could have survived.

May her soul rest in Peace, several people failed her.

You should have known better before comparing both cases. In your case it was your father but in her case non of her family members was there, and Nigerians this days love recording anything simply for likes, trend and engagements on their timeline...

Similar thing once happened to me back in varsity... I had just gotten out of the bathtub when someone started knocking on my room door... I kept telling him that I was coming, but he kept knocking.

I wrapped myself with a towel and went to the door only to find that there was no one anymore... I looked around and I didn't see anyone, so I left the door slightly open, removed my towel and started applying body lotion... I wasn't expecting any male because in my residence, male visitors were allowed only from 8am and it was around 7am, the security guard was also a female, so I was only a expecting the person to be a female.

As I was busy applying the body lotion, I could see a tall person standing by the door from the corner of my eye... As I turned around I found a tall dark man standing there... I immediately covered myself and I was ready to start shouting at him and kick him out only to find out that he was dumb and couldn't speak.

He had an exam pad and a pen... He also had this other paper requesting for donations... I was still pissed off, but shouting at him was now going to be useless... In fact, I started feeling bad for him... I gave him some money and he left... Apparently he asked the security guard for a permission to get in.
