I think the admins and the big guns of this thread must come up with a plan to deal with scammers. Anyone trying to sell must go through verification. In the event that is difficult or a herculean task to achieve ,vouchers must be at least four persons.

It irritates me to my marrow that this beautiful thread is beginning to create fear for the newbies.

When I went to one of their branches. They were saying it would be difficult to trace the person if it's an Express account since anybody can open it online without visiting the bank.

Like someone had said, go on twitter to raise that question. Copy the necessary security agencies and CBN too. Try again in that branch and have the conversation on record which u will post .

Lastly, always deal with people vouched for by very popular moniker here. Just don't be in a hurry to transaction a deal simply because it is too good to be true

Any transactions that require banking services must be link to a BVN. Any infraction to that is an offence by the bank. I will find out more about this.

When you say Ecobank, are you saying when you went to their office or via their social media handle? Maybe when they realise this is a criminal issue,they will play balls. First thing ,you need to report this as a criminal offence . Love

If he is fraud, the bank account should be flagged and Effc petitioned. As long as we have more than three people with witnesses against a bank account,the account will be restricted

The truth is someone respected here gave u credence and led the other guy to fall a victim . That is the painful truth. I hate scammer which u r one until proven otherwise.

It is not a bank that was robbed but a woman around that Falomo. It is unfortunately those people died as their death was after the operations. Hard currency was involved .

It is very risky carrying huge sum of money as nobody can be trusted. The woman was traced to that point on bike.
