ademide0710: Every marriage should be built on trust, very important. I know how much my husband earns, when he got a new job he shows me his employment letter. I have my business too. I'm not interested in his money. The trust we have for each other has helped our family so far. He does his responsibility as a husband and father. Whenever his finance down, he finds it so difficult to approach me for money but I always beg him to collect from me,after so much persuasion he stills return when his financial buoyant . When we go for shopping, I make payment at times but his not always comfortable with it. He believes his the head of the family but to me we are to help and support each other. I bless the day, I met that man. May the almighty God sustain your marriage |

DoTheNeedful: My own is that any political reform in this country must ensure that every state, no matter how big or small has 1 vote in presidential elections. We have 36 states + FCT. Every election should have 37 votes. The party that has 19 votes will be the winner. Any party that wins a state will have the vote of that state. This arrangement will prevent the political domination of some parts of the country. It will prevent a repeat of Rivers and Kano magic of the last elections. This guy must have studied the american electioneering process.I support your thought line |

jumper524: the fact that Buhari plunged us into recession doesn't change the fact that if good luck or anybody were to be president it would have been averted. I remember vividly during the last days of goodlucks regime how economist were predicting doom for Nigeria.. many federal civil servant were scared of the fact that they won't be able to pay salaries... but thank god for buhari... salaries is no longer a problem at the federal level. because of Buhari and the recession I can see vast improvement in agriculture at the northern part of the country... its only a matter of time for the country to be fully stable.. I guess this person lives in Aso Rock. liar |

Christianity Etc › Christian Stop The Complaints, Take Action by smartleo(op): 9:16pm On Oct 08, 2017 |
Am amused as a Christian when I read submissions from CAN (Christian Association of Nigeria). There are questions for our leaders in Christendom: 1. What efforts are they making to Christianize Nigeria? While the other religion is Islamizing with food, money and violence, Christians are belly aching asking for prayers without action. 2. There is the cry about Islamic banking based on the sharia. May I ask, is there anything stopping the establishment of an interest free Christian bank rooted in tenets of the Holy Bible. This will empower the teeming impoverished Christian around. Do you know that the coming together of the four top Pentecostal churches alone in our land can establish a mega bank. But no because the priorities are private jets, mega cathedrals and palatial domains. 3. From the wealth of the churches, is there any law preventing them from establishing industries or farms where the great number of unemployed youths in the church can work. Instead our youths are asked to go for deliverance from the demon of unemployment. When they do and if lucky, employment will come from organizations controlled by the religion the Church is complaining of. 4. For ages, the vast majority of Christians in Nigeria see politics as evil. The other religion sees this and took advantage of the situation. In the state and national assemblies, they dominate. In majority, they make laws for all of us to suit their purposes. In a time like this, let CAN, PFN and other Christian groups stop the belly aching and formulate a new strategy. The Ephesus of Nigeria can only turn to Turkey if we continue to do the same thing the old way. We may pray on end, positive result will only come when we play our God given roles. If you receive this piece, please continue to post until it gets to the leaders in Christendom and every true Christian in high places who can make an impact. If you wish you can reply or contribute to this. |

EzzyIzzy: It's quite appalling how seemingly sane people change and twist facts and the gullible ones just toe the same narrative. Agreed GMB administration is not performing as we all expected, but why so much hate to the point of repeating a fallacy?
I read the letter from Ibe Kachikwu to PMB and according to the author, contracts of $26 billion were awarded without the approval of the NNPC board, of which he is the chairman, which to me is a question of due process. He never stated any monies were missing. Unless there's another letter Deji Adeyanu is referring to. Na waoh!!! Let me ask you a simple question, why cut corners and boycott due process when you have nothing to hide, why? See the GMD should explain to us in simple terms.# |
